Abstract
- We study the behaviour and compare two nanostructurated materials based on multifunc- tional monomers: a nanoparticle-thiol-ene-polymer composite (NPC) and a holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystals (HPDLC) with dipentaerythritol penta/hexa-acrylate (DPHPA) as main monomer. We evaluate their suitability to record complex large grating spacing diffractive optical elements (DOEs), such as blazed gratings. Thus, we can explode their multifunctional capabilities to develop electrically tunable DOEs, thanks to the addition of LC molecules.
