Análisis y dimensionamiento de la compensación del factor de potencia en instalaciones eléctricas industriales de baja tensión

Este TFG explica como debe realizarse la compensación del factor de potencia, además de los beneficios que se consiguen realizando esta compensación. También se detalla como deben utilizarse varios softwares, destinados a la elección de la batería de condensadores más adecuada para cada instalación.
Nowadays optimizing energy transfer from an AC source to a load is a classical problem in electrical engineering. The standard approach to improving the power factor is to place a compensator between the source and the load, but to make this compensation you must to take into account several factors and normative about low voltage. In this way you get that there are not harmonics and consequently the electrical equipment work correctly and an important saving in the electric bill. To facilitate these facilities, the companies distributors of capacitor bank put a series of softwares at the service of the client.
