Abstract
- A number of iron(II) complexes have been synthesized on the basis of benzothiazolylformazans, and their structure and composition have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, and X-ray analysis. The catalytic behavior of Fe(II) formazanates in the reaction of ethylene oligomerization in the presence of various organoaluminum compounds has been studied. Methylaluminoxane facilitates the formation of α-olefins (butene-1, hexene-1) and the byproducts hexene isomers; ethylaluminum dichloride (AlC2H5Cl2) increases the selectivity for alkyltoluenes. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
This work was supported in part by the Russian Academy of Sciences under Presidium program no. 3 “Energy aspects of deep processing of fossil and
renewable carbonaceous resources” and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project no. 11 03 90724 mob_st.
