Assoziation von Polymorphismen im Lymphotoxin–α Gen mit dem Myokardinfarkt

Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde ein möglicher Zusammenhang der drei SNPs des LTA-Gens in der BAT1-NFKBIL1-LTA-Region auf dem kurzen Arm von Chromosom 6 mit dem Myokardinfarkt untersucht. Die Gene der genannten Region kodieren für Entzündungsproteine und könnten deshalb in der Arteriosklerose eine Rolle spielen. Auch die Daten der SNPs des BAT1- und des NFKBIL1-Gens wurden zur Verfügung gestellt, um eine Haplotyp-und Diplotypbestimmung zu ermöglichen. Die Genotypen der zwei zusammengestellten Gruppen, die Kontroll-und die Patientengruppe, wurden durch die TaqMan Methode bestimmt. Als Schlussfolgerung ergibt sich aus dieser Studie, dass ein protektiver Effekt bezüglich dem Krankheitsbild des Myokardinfarktes sehr wahrscheinlich bei Individuen auftritt, die das seltene Allel von LTA-B oder eine Kombination der seltenen Allele der BAT1-NFKBIL1-LTA-Gene ,wie diese in Haplotyp 1 vorkommt, besitzen.
In the present study a possible association of three SNPs of the LTA gene in the BAT1-NFKBIL1-LTA region on the short arm of chromosome 6 was examined with myocardial infarction. The genes of that region code for inflammatory proteins and could therefore play a role in atherosclerosis. The data of the SNPs of the BAT1- and the NFKBIL1- gene were made available to allow haplotype- and diplotype- determination. The genotypes of the two assembled groups, control- and patient- group were determined by the TaqMan method. In conclusion from this study, a protective effect with respect to the clinical picture of myocardial infarction occurs most likely in individuals who have the rare allele of LTA-B or a combination of the rare alleles of the BAT1-NFKBIL1-LTA genes, such as those existing in haplotype 1.
