Cómo redactar el título de una investigación / How to Write a Research Title

ResumenVariadas dificultades confrontan los investigadores cuando se proponenprecisar el título de una investigación, especialmente cuando asumen la tarea dehacerlo a partir de las orientaciones de los manuales y las exigencias institucionales. La aparente confusión entre título y tema, y el deseo de proveer información suficiente -que incide en el tamaño de los títulos, ameritan precisar criterios, en aras de identificar los elementos necesarios, de acuerdo a los aspectos nucleares sobre los cuales se elabora un trabajo científico: qué, acerca de, por qué, para qué, quiénes, cuándo, dónde, cómo, con qué, cuánto. Los títulos cumplen un propósito enunciativo y otro didáctico y su formulación debe facilitar la identificación del trabajo, a partir de los elementos que contiene.AbstractVarious difficulties confront researchers when they set out to specify the titleof a research project, especially when they do it based on guidance manualsand institutional requirements. The apparent confusion between title and subjectand the desire to provide sufficient information, which affects title size, mer its specifying criteria in order to identify the necessary elements, according to the core issues on which a scientific work is developed: what, about what, why, for what purpose or person, who, when, where, how, with what and how much. Titles serve an enunciative as well as a didactic purpose and their language should facilitate identifying the work based on the elements it contains.
