071-01: Stratified Outcrop

In this black-and-white photo, a huge stratified outcrop without grass and trees is visible. The top of the outcrop is flat, and a larger of coal appears near the top. Horizontal stratification of the huge outcrop can be clearly seen, and the upper half of the outcrop is vertical while the lower half of the outcrop slopes into the valley. Stones scatter in the lower slope part of the outcrop, and the bushes of sage grow in the crevices of the outcrop. Some other large stratified outcrops can be seen in this photo.
