Abstract

A black and white photograph of a motorboat pulling the scow. One man can be seen in the motorboat toward the front. He is identified as Charlie (Mortram Sternberg). The motorboat is white, and a flag is visible on the back end of it. Three men are standing on the scow, and a small boat is tied behind. They are identified as Lawrence M. Lambe, Charles H. Sternberg and Levi Sternberg. A large sedimentary outcropping is on the far side of the river. To the right of the scow, a pile of sticks and branches are floating in the water. A few ripples can be seen in the water, but it is mostly calm.
