Abstract

Here, we report the draft whole-genome sequence of an anthracenedegrading bacterium, Mycolicibacterium frederiksbergense strain LB501T, using the PacBio and Illumina sequencing platforms. The complete genome sequence of strain LB501T consists of 6,713,618 bp and provides new insights into its metabolic capabilities, including aromatic conversion pathways with promiscuous activities.
