Panorama actual de las TIC en los centros educativos: beneficios, problemáticas y facilitadores en su integración

El crucial rol como fuente de conocimiento que poseen las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) en la sociedad es innegable, en respuesta a ello, el ámbito escolar debe adaptarse a las características de esta nueva sociedad con el fin de que el alumnado pueda desenvolverse de manera adecuada en los múltiples escenarios que se le planteen en su futuro tanto laboral como personal. Este estudio tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis de la situación actual en cuanto a la integración de las TIC en los centros educativos, a través de una revisión de las investigaciones en torno a la temática. En este sentido, nos basaremos en la revisión bibliográfica tipo descriptiva, con la finalidad de identificar los beneficios que supone la integración de las TIC en las prácticas docentes, los problemáticas que surgen al hacerlo y, finalmente, los factores que facilitan su integración en los centros educativos.
The crucial role as a source of knowledge possessed by the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in nowadays society is undeniable, in response to that, the school environment must be adapted to the characteristics of this new society so that students can cope adequately with the multiple scenarios that arise in their both work and personal future. This study has the aim of make an analysis of the current situation regarding the integration of ICT in schools, through a review of research on the subject. In this sense, we will build on descriptive literature review, with the aim of identifying the benefits of the integration of ICT in teaching practices, the issues that arise in doing so and, finally, the factors that facilitate their integration into the schools.
