Abstract

David Paton expresses his fondness for his old friend, President Roosevelt, as Roosevelt prepares to surrender his office. Paton reminisces on how he was the first person to nominate Roosevelt for President of the United States on the day Roosevelt was sworn into office as member of the New York State Assembly.
