La palabra evocadora de mundos. La traducción de El Enquiridion de Erasmo por Alonso Fernández de Madrid, el Arcediano del Alcor

We revive the figure of Alonso Fernández de Madrid, Archdeacon of Alcor, as a translator, highlighting the importance of the word to make more understandable the world around us. The first part is a historical overview of the linguistic conception of the word, the second, the analysis of translation of the Enchiridion by Erasmus. The analysis looks at those terms that best indicate the intent of the text, fot the sixteenth century readers.
Rescatamos a Alonso Fernández de Madrid, Arcediano del Alcor, como traductor, poniendo de manifiesto la importancia de la palabra para hacer más comprensible el mundo que nos rodea. La primera parte es una síntesis de la concepción lingüística de la palabra; la segunda, analiza la traducción del Enquiridion de Erasmmo de Rotterdam, analizando los términos que mejor señalan la intencionalidad del texto, en las circunstancias religiosas del momento
