Plan de cuidados individualizado a un paciente con artritis reumatoide

INTRODUCTION: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chro-nic rheumatic disease that affects the peripheral joints, causing inflammation in its synovial membrane. Moreover, it is characterized by causing pain, swelling, stiffness, swelling, heat and loss of functionality. It affects 0.8% of the Spanish population, and 1% of the world population. This disease has a great impact on the quality of life of the patient, in addition to produ-cing disability.MAIN OBJECTIVE: Develop an individualized care plan, for a patient with rheumatoid arthritis to improve his quality of life, use the model of Virginia Henderson and the NANDA-NIC-NOC taxonomy.METHODOLOGY: A bibliographic search is carried out in different databases and on multiple web pages from which information on the disease is obtained as well as on topics of interest.CONCLUSIONS: With the care plan carried out, the patient improves their quality of life. INTRODUCCION: La artritis reumatoide es una enfermedad reumática crónica que afecta a las ar-ticulaciones periféricas, causando inflamación en la membrana sinovial de esta. Además, se caracteriza por causar dolor, hinchazón, rigidez, tumefacción, calor y pérdida de funcionalidad. Afecta a un 0,8% de la po-blación española, y a un 1% de la población mundial. Esta enfermedad causa un gran impacto en la calidad de vida del paciente, además de producir incapacidad.O BJETIVO PRINCIPAL: Elaborar un plan de cui-dados individualizado, a un paciente con artritis reu-matoide para mejorar su calidad de vida, utilizando el modelo de Virginia Henderson y la taxonomía NANDA-NIC-NOC.METODOLOGÍA: Se realiza una búsqueda biblio-gráfica en diferentes bases de datos y en múltiples pá-ginas webs, de las cuales se obtiene información sobre la enfermedad asi como sobre temas de interés.CONCLUSIONES: Con el plan de cuidados reali-zado el paciente mejora su calidad de vida. El papel de enfermería es fundamental para ello a través de la educación sanitaria y las actividades realizadas
