Antígona y sus circunstancias

The play Antigone and its circumstances». Some facts and circumstances of the Pericles's politics in relation with certain aspects of the tragedy Antigone by Sophocles are shown in this paper. Several passages from Plutarch and two pieces of evidence concerning Sophocles support that hypothesis. The ostracisms of Cymon and of Thucydides of Alopece, the misuse of the Alliance's taxes for the goddess Athenea and the magistracies held by Sophocles would suggest that there were certain connections between the exercise of authority carried out by the mythic Creon and by the historical Pericles.
En este estudio se exponen algunos hechos y circunstancias que relacionan la política de Pericles con algunos aspectos de la tragedia Antígona de Sófocles. Algunos pasajes de Plutarco y dos testimonios sobre Sófocles fundamentan la hipótesis expuesta. Los ostracismos de Cimón y de Tucídides de Alopeces, el desvío de los tributos de la Alianza ático-délica destinados a la diosa Atenea y las magistraturas desempeñadas por Sófocles permitirían establecer unas conexiones entre el ejercicio del poder del mítico Creonte y del histórico Pericles
