Sample for the Dutch FADN 2016

The farms included in the Dutch FADN (Farm Accountancy Data Network) are a sample of agricultural and horticultural companies from the Agricultural Census. The FADN is a European instrument for evaluating the income of agricultural holdings and the impacts of the Common Agricultural Policy. This report explains the background of the sample and the developments concerning the population and sample of 2016. All phases – from the determination of the selection plan, the recruitment of farms to the quality control of the final sample – are described in this report.
De bedrijven die zijn opgenomen in het Nederlandse FADN (Farm Accountancy Data Network) vormen een steekproef van land- en tuinbouwbedrijven uit de Landbouwtelling. Het Europese FADN is een instrument om het agrarische inkomen en de invloed van het Europese landbouwbeleid te evalueren. Dit rapport beschrijft de achtergronden van de steekproef en de ontwikkelingen aangaande de populatie en de steekproef in 2016. Alle stappen van het bepalen van het selectieplan, het werven van bedrijven en de kwaliteit van de steekproef worden beschreven.
