Los trabajadores independientes resistencias y ventajas del sistema del ahorro para el retiro

The present work is a study on independent workers and retirement savings systems. The starting point is the characterization of independent workers or freelancers and the regime of the Retirement Savings Fund Administrators (AFORES). Subsequently, the importance of the retirement savings system and the benefits of having an account in an AFORE are analyzed. Then, the benefits that entitle retirement savings will be reviewed when the time comes to make them effective. The reasons why workers do not use the retirement savings system will be reviewed. The advantages generated by making their contributions, their tax benefits and the special situations in which they may have a part of their savings will also be analyzed.
El presente trabajo es un estudio sobre los trabajadores independientes y los sistemas de ahorro para el retiro. El punto de partida es la caracterización de los trabajadores independientes o freelancers y el régimen de las Administradoras de Fondos de Ahorro para el Retiro (AFORES). Posteriormente se analiza la importancia del sistema de ahorro para el retiro y los beneficios de tener una cuenta en una AFORE. Luego se pasará revista a las prestaciones que dan derecho el ahorro para el retiro cuando llega el momento de hacerlo efectivo. Se repasarán las causas por las cuales los trabajadores no hacen uso del sistema de ahorro para el retiro. También se analizarán las ventajas que genera realizar sus aportaciones, sus beneficios fiscales y las situaciones especiales en las cuales podrán disponer de una parte de sus ahorros.
