She's the subject of the new documentary Miss Sharon Jones! which is about her return to singing and performing after treatment for pancreatic cancer. The documentary is made by the academy award winning film maker Barbara Koppel. Their first album Dap Dipping with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings was released in 2002.
