Luis Buñuel, poeta de vanguardia: realidad literaria y (re)construcción historiográfica

La temprana voluntad de ser escritor que tuvo Luis Buñuel dejó una interesante producción literaria que, desde su triunfo como cineasta, fue quedando progresivamente olvidada. Este artículo, al cumplirse un siglo de su primer escrito, examina la realidad literaria y la (re)construcción de su figura como poeta de vanguardia. En primer lugar se inscribe la poesía en sus coordenadas, apuntando sus horizontes inmediatos y repasando el proyecto de publicación de Polismos. A continuación, se lleva a cabo una revisión historiográfica de la recuperación del poeta Luis Buñuel y de su obra hasta 2023, que evidencia que la reconstrucción de su faceta literaria ha comportado también, dialécticamente, tener que construirla.
The early will to be a writer that Luis Buñuel had left an interesting literary production that, since his triumph as a filmmaker, was progressively forgotten. This paper, a century after his first writing, examines the literary reality and the (re)construction of his figure as an avant-garde poet. In the first place, poetry is inscribed in its coordinates, pointing out its immediate horizons and reviewing the Polismos publication project. Next, a historiographical review of the recovery of the poet Luis Buñuel and his work up to 2023 is carried out. It shows that the reconstruction of his literary facet has also entailed, dialectically, having to build it.
