Imagen organizacional como factor de decisión para elegir una institución educativa

The research objective is to theoretically describe the importance of strategically identifying and strengthening the attributes that influence the generation of the organizational image and determine its influence on the decision to choose an educational institution. The method consisted of a linear regression analysis, an intentional non-probabilistic sampling of 225 students from a high school education institution was used. The findings suggest that educational institutions, when being managed, must identify the attributes of their image and strengthen them so that users perceive them, and implement strategies that help consolidate the institution and keep it positioned, differentiating it from its competitors. The limitation of this study is that its analysis was carried out at a single public educational institution at the baccalaureate level, which is why it is proposed for future research to use a sample from other educational levels or other geographical regions.
El objetivo de investigación es describir teóricamente la importancia de identificar y fortalecer de manera estratégica los atributos que influyen en la generación de la imagen organizacional y determinar su influencia en la decisión para elegir una institución educativa. El método consistió en un análisis de regresión lineal, se utilizó un muestreo no probabilístico intencional a 225 estudiantes de una institución de educación de bachillerato. Los hallazgos sugieren que las instituciones educativas al ser administradas deben identificar los atributos de su imagen y fortalecerlos para que los usuarios los perciban, e implementar estrategias que ayuden a consolidar a la institución y la mantengan posicionada diferenciándola de sus competidoras. Este estudio presenta como limitación que su análisis realizado a una sola institución educativa pública en el nivel de bachillerato por lo que se propone para próximas investigaciones utilizar una muestra de otros niveles educativos u otras regiones geográficas.
