Abstract

One of the most violated rights of children is that of protection from any form of mistreatment; Especially sexual abuse. According to the Ecuadorian attorney general's office, in 2021, on average, 14 reports of rape were received per day; Of these, at least 3 against girls under 14. These figures do not prove all the cases, as many are not even reported. In this context, we decided to design a participative-relational experience with boys and girls, through the use of an interactive manual focused on the prevention of sexual violence against children in the country. Between all of us we care is the result of the mediation process in an educational institution, which handled the ideology of community art, gamification and aesthetic nutrition in educational environments to link them to the subject, through an interactive manual that, from illustration and participation, artistically communicates advice on possible situations of vulnerability, while encouraging denunciation in case of suffering them. The installation consists of several illustrations with the same aesthetic used in the manual, which account for the mediation process itself developed. With such integration, an aesthetic experience of evident educational function is strengthened, without a doubt systematized in terms of greater social achievements
