La regulación jurídica de la investigación biomédica aplicada al ser humano: entre lo posible y lo incongruente

La presente contribución examina la normativa internacional y la española en relación con la investigación biomédica, prestando especial atención a la investigación en el ámbito de la genética del ser humano. Con ello se pretende deducir los principios y reglas que regulan este tipo de investigaciones centrándose en el análisis de la coherencia entre la normativa internacional y española, así como los desafíos que plantean a dichos principios y reglas los nuevos descubrimientos que se están produciendo en esta área del conocimiento científico.
The current contribution examines international and Spanish regulations in relation to biomedical research. We focus our contribution especially in the field of human genetics. The aim with this academic contribution is to deduce the principles and rules that regulate this type of research, focusing on the analysis of the coherence between international and Spanish regulations, as well as the challenges posed to these principles and rules by the new discoveries that are being produced in this area of scientific knowledge.
