Evaluation of the embedded AMD GPUs archicture for safety critical systems

For decades safety-related functionalities in automotive, avionics and space systems were implemented in low-performance microcontrollers. But the increasing software complexity and computational demanding processes are guiding the safety-critical domain towards using GPUs. This work aims at providing simulator tools for the safety-critical domain approach to the usage of GPUs for high computation demanding task. It will be done by modeling a GPU Full System simulator and validating its architecture against a real GPU model.
