La Diocesi di Brescia nella Resistenza: la linea di mons. Giacinto Tredici

This essay cast light on the attitude implemented by Giacinto Tredici, bishop of Brescia, during the last two years of the World War II. In particular, it will be analyzed the role exercised by the bishop while the fight between nazi-fascists and local partisans: the bishop Tredici tried, always, to defend their own clergy and to ease tensions, in order to save much lives as possible in both sides. Besides, his support for the partisans was pretty prudent, although he appointed Padre Luigi Rinaldini as curate of all the parishes in the diocese, that is spiritual assistant to the partisans.
