A National Annotated Bibliography of Curriculum Materials in Vocational and Career Education.

The bibliography lists 410 items which are curriculum materials in vocational and career education. It is an attempt to discover and illustrate the amount of curriculum materials which is available, but seldom publicized beyond local or State boundaries. Besides providing an annotation describing each item, the bibliography includes the title of the materials, its developer, which type it is (career or occupational education), the form of materials, whether it is for student or professional use, target level of student, training required to use materials, consulting services available, copyright restrictions, how to acquire materials, an ERIC number if available, and the State and agency submitting the abstract. Access to the individual items is gained through an index divided into 19 subject areas. The items are refereed to by an assigned number and are cross-indexed. Illinois is one of seven States participating in the National Network for Curriculum Coordination in Vocational and Technical Education (NNCCVTE) and has published this document as part of the Curriculum Management Center responsibilities.
