Fact Book on Theological Education: For the Academic Year 1991-92.

This is the 22nd edition of a guide to institutions of theological education covering data supplied in the fall of 1991 and providing information on parallel patterns for ready comparisons across the years. The report includes information on enrollment, admissions, administrative staff, and faculty salaries for the current year. It also includes graduation statistics, financial reports, fund raising reports and library data for the previous fiscal year. The tables are arranged in four chapters. Chapter I covers institutional characteristics including listing of individual institutions, summary of some characteristics, distribution of schools by enrollment, and levels of educational programs. Chapter II is on enrollment and contains information on applications, acceptances, enrollees, admissions policies, head count, total-full time equivalents, comparable enrollments (by degree types, by degree, gender, and race), trends for women and minority groups, and completion rates. Chapter III, on salaries, discusses trends in compensation averages; comparisons by size, accreditation status, country, and highest degree; and information on administrative versus faculty salaries. Chapter IV on finances treats tuition costs, revenues, and expenditures. (JB)
