Abstract

Eight contributed papers given at a general session of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions 1992 annual meeting are presented. These papers deal with a variety of library issues, and are generally, but not exclusively, focused on developing countries. The following papers are included: (1) "Community Information Centres in the Developing Countries with Special Reference to India" (V. Venkatappaiah and T. V.
