This policy brief describes the importance of providing high quality early care and education programs for young children and their families. The need for early childhood services in Delaware is discussed relative to the array of early childhood care and education programs offered. The University of Delaware's statewide efforts to improve the access and quality of early care and education programs for all families are presented.
