Abstract

Investigated interactive effects of gender-typed profile (masculine, feminine), stimulus sex, and gender-typed occupation on employment desirability. Subjects (45 women and 35 men) rated the employment desirability of people described in scenarios. There was a significant main effect for gender-typed profile, but male and female raters did not differ significantly in ratings of desirability. (SLD)
