This article reports on the plans of publishing companies Wenner Media, Krause Publications and Hearst Magazine to venture into Internet-focused business in 1999. Werner Media plans to launch its Internet-focused title by the end of 1999 while Krause Publications and online site eBay plan to publish eBay Magazine in September 1999. On the other hand, Hearst Magazines is planning a women's guide to the Internet in 2000. The Hearst venture is fueled by its partnership with a woman-focused Internet site.
