Picture fuzzy C-means clustering is a novel computational intelligence method that has some advantages over fuzzy clustering in pattern analysis and machine intelligence. However, picture fuzzy clustering is easily affected by noise and weighting exponent, which seriously limits its widespread application. To address this issue, this paper proposes a new robust possibilistic clustering method called "interval type-2 possibilistic picture C-means clustering with local information". This method combines interval type-2 fuzzy sets with possibilistic C-means clustering based on picture fuzzy sets, strengthening the noise resistance of picture fuzzy clustering. Firstly, this paper creatively extends an improved possibilistic clustering with double weighing exponents to picture fuzzy sets, solving the problem of consistency clustering in existing possibilistic picture clustering. Second, this paper originally introduces a new picture local information factor in possibilistic picture clustering and further enhances the anti-noise robustness of the method by using spatial possibilistic picture partition information. Finally, this paper skillfully extends this clustering method to interval type-2 fuzzy sets, which can handle more flexibly high-order uncertainties than type-1 clustering method. Experimental results indicate that this proposed method has better segmentation performance and stronger noise suppression ability compared with existing picture fuzzy clustering and interval type-2 fuzzy clustering. As artificial intelligence and sensor technology develop rapidly, intelligent fault diagnosis methods based on deep learning are widely used in industrial production. However, in practical industrial applications, the complex noise environment affects the performance of the diagnostic model, and the huge model parameters cannot meet the requirements of low cost and high performance in industrial production. To address the above problems, this paper proposes a lightweight intelligent fault diagnosis model using multi-sensor data fusion that not only meets the lightweight requirements of "small, light, and fast", but also realizes high accuracy diagnosis in noisy environments. Firstly, the vibration signals from different sensors of rolling bearings are processed using the variational mode decomposition (VMD) to design a unique method of constructing grayscale feature maps based on each intrinsic modal function (IMF) component. Then, the ultra-lightweight GoogLeNet model (UL-GoogLeNet) is constructed to adjust the traditional GoogLeNet structure, while the Ultra-lightweight subspace attention module (ULSAM) is introduced to reduce the model parameters and enhance the feature extraction capability. UL-GoogLeNet is trained and tested by dividing the grayscale feature maps into training and testing sets to realize the intelligent recognition of different fault types in rolling bearings. Experiments are conducted on two datasets and compared with multiple methods, and the final experimental results prove the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method in this paper. X-ray security inspection machine is currently the most widely used security inspection technology in our country. It is widely used in urban rail transit, railways, airports, key venues, logistics delivery and other scenarios. Using artificial intelligence technology to assist front-line security inspectors in X-ray security inspection can effectively reduce problems such as missed reports due to personnel fatigue or inattention. However, in actual scenes, the detection accuracy is not high due to the diversity of item types, the particularity of imaging angles, and the limitations of detection algorithms. In order to solve related problems, we propose MAM Faster R-CNN. First, in order to expand the receptive field of the feature map and effectively extract the regional features of the target object with shape distortion in the feature map, we propose the Malformed Attention Module (MAM). Secondly, the Large Kernel Attention (LKA) block is used to connect the corresponding backbone output feature layer to use the adaptive selection feature of self-attention module to better focus on the effective feature information in the feature map. Finally, for the neck part, we replace feature pyramid network (FPN) with path aggregation network (PAN), and add the Conv-MLP block to the bottom-up feature fusion part on the right side of the PAN network to reduce the loss of some low-level details. In this paper, the Faster R-CNN benchmark model with ResNet50 as the backbone network is used to evaluate our proposed MAM Faster R-CNN model on HiXray and OPIXray datasets, and the results show that it outperforms the SOTA detection method. We do ablation experiments on the HiXray dataset, and the results show that our proposed MAM Faster R-CNN improves about 2.0%, compared to baseline model (Faster R-CNN). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recent developments in the field of deep learning have led to the widespread integration of artificial neural networks in various domains of application. Prominent contemporary artificial neural network training techniques are based on first-order gradient computation. The emphasis on algorithmic performance has driven the emergence of variant artificial neural network training methodologies. Estimation theory, traditionally considered a sub-field of statistics and signal processing, has been explored by various researchers for the development of non-gradient based training methods. Articles published with the aim of utilizing estimation-based artificial neural network training techniques have shown promising results. We identify the integration of estimation theory within the artificial neural network training procedure as intelligent estimation. In this paper, the field of intelligent estimation is analyzed in greater depth with emphasis on the algorithmic performance of novel implementations. The field of digital histopathology has seen incredible growth in recent years. Digital pathology is becoming a relevant tool in healthcare, industrial and research sectors to reduce the saturation of pathology departments and improve the productivity of pathologists by increasing diagnostic accuracy and reducing turnaround times. Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms may be used for the identification of relevant regions, extraction of features from a histological image and overall classification of images into specific classes. The combination of digital histopathology imaging and AI therefore presents a significant opportunity for the support of the pathologists' tasks and opens up a whole new world of computational analysis. In this paper, we have analysed the present, the challenges and the future of the computational pathology discussing the different existing strategies to overcome its main limitations and ensure the computational pathology acceptance. The lack of labelled data, which is the possibly largest challenge for all medical AI applications, is even more pronounced in computational pathology because of the multi-gigapixel nature of the images and high data heterogeneity. We consider the future of the computational pathology is the combination of weak label strategies with active learning and crowdsourcing scenarios since it would remove some of the workload from clinical experts and manual annotation obtaining clinically satisfactory performance with minimal annotation effort. A comprehensive literature review on vessel behaviour pattern recognition in maritime and littoral environments, spanning a period of three decades, is presented. A vast majority of research focuses on anomalous vessel behaviour detection from Automated Identification System (AIS) data, using artificial intelligence (AI), Bayesian networks and machine learning based methods. AIS is a cooperative system that employs VHF transceivers to share vessel information through terrestrial and satellite communication networks. To track small boats not fitted with AIS, uncooperative surveillance systems are employed. These systems have been studied in a relatively small number of publications. In vessel behaviour pattern recognition, target classification is critically important, particularly, in asymmetric warfare situations. In recent years, elliptic partial differential equations (PDEs) have been challenging in numerical mathematics, engineering, and physics. In this paper, we proposed a novel approach called Multilayer Neural Network for Partial Differential Equations (MLNPDE) based on deep learning algorithms by exploring the elliptic PDE family under certain conditions such as initial conditions and boundary conditions to govern approximation solutions of PDEs. In the proposed model, we include a multilayer neural network using a densely connected network. Moreover, the approximation solution underlying PDEs can be expressed in two terms: the first term satisfies the boundary conditions, and the second term is a function of the unknown parameters that were estimated by our proposed model. Furthermore, we derive a normal form of the boundary conditions on the first term of the approximation solution for two-dimensional elliptic partial differential equation problems with an arbitrary domain.
