There is increasing focus on applying deep learning methods to electrocardiograms (ECGs), with recent studies showing that neural networks (NNs) can predict future heart failure or atrial fibrillation from the ECG alone. However, large numbers of ECGs are needed to train NNs, and many ECGs are currently only in paper format, which are not suitable for NN training. We developed a fully-automated online ECG digitisation tool to convert scanned paper ECGs into digital signals. Using automated horizontal and vertical anchor point detection, the algorithm automatically segments the ECG image into separate images for the 12 leads and a dynamical morphological algorithm is then applied to extract the signal of interest. We then validated the performance of the algorithm on 515 digital ECGs, of which 45 were printed, scanned and redigitised. The automated digitisation tool achieved 99.0% correlation between the digitised signals and the ground truth ECG (n = 515 standard 3-by-4 ECGs) after excluding ECGs with overlap of lead signals. Without exclusion, the performance of average correlation was from 90 to 97% across the leads on all 3-by-4 ECGs. There was a 97% correlation for 12-by-1 and 3-by-1 ECG formats after excluding ECGs with overlap of lead signals. Without exclusion, the average correlation of some leads in 12-by-1 ECGs was 60–70% and the average correlation of 3-by-1 ECGs achieved 80–90%. ECGs that were printed, scanned, and redigitised, our tool achieved 96% correlation with the original signals. We have developed and validated a fully-automated, user-friendly, online ECG digitisation tool. Unlike other available tools, this does not require any manual segmentation of ECG signals. Communication quality is compromised when wireless sensor network (WSN) operate in harsh environments, which can be improved by supplementing the nodes. This paper proposes a deployment strategy to optimize the placement of new nodes in WSN, specifically in complex environments with limited communication. To achieve this, the paper introduces the concept of strong connectivity relationships and presents a novel metaheuristic algorithm, namely double-state differential evolution (DSDE), which divides the optimization process into two states and adopts different optimization strategies. The proposed DSDE can improve the overall network communication glowing at a lower computing cost. Recent rank-based attacks have reduced the security of Rainbow, which is one of the multi-layer UOV signatures, below the NIST security requirements by speeding up iterative kernel-finding operations using classical mathematics techniques. If quantum algorithms are applied to perform these iterative operations, the rank-based attacks may be more threatening to multi-layer UOV, including Rainbow. In this paper, we propose a quantum rectangular MinRank attack called the Q-rMinRank attack, the first quantum approach to key recovery attacks on multi-layer UOV signatures. Our attack is a general model applicable to multi-layer UOV signature schemes, and in this paper, we provide examples of its application to Rainbow and the Korean TTA standard, HiMQ. We design two quantum oracle circuits to find the kernel in consideration of the depth-width trade-off of quantum circuits. One is to reduce the width of the quantum circuits using qubits as a minimum, and the other is to reduce the depth using parallelization instead of using a lot of qubits. By designing quantum circuits to find kernels with fewer quantum resources and complexity by adding mathematical techniques, we achieve quadratic speedup for the MinRank attack to recover the private keys of multi-layer UOV signatures. We also estimate quantum resources for the designed quantum circuits and analyze quantum complexity based on them. The width-optimized circuit recovers the private keys of Rainbow parameter set V with only 1089 logical qubits. The depth-optimized circuit recovers the private keys of Rainbow parameter set V with a quantum complexity of 2 174 , which is lower than the complexity of 2 221 recovering the secret key of AES-192, which provides the same security level as parameter set III. In recent times, video inpainting techniques have intended to fill the missing areas or gaps in a video by utilizing known pixels. The variety in brightness or difference of the patches causes the state-of-the-art video inpainting techniques to exhibit high computation complexity and create seams in the target areas. To resolve these issues, this paper introduces a novel video inpainting technique that employs the Morphological Haar Wavelet Transform combined with the Krill Herd based Criminisi algorithm (MHWT-KHCA) to address the challenges of high computational demand and visible seam artifacts in current inpainting practices. The proposed MHWT-KHCA algorithm strategically reduces computation times and enhances the seamlessness of the inpainting process in videos. Through a series of experiments, the technique is validated against standard metrics such as peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity index (SSIM), where it demonstrates superior performance compared to existing methods. Additionally, the paper outlines potential real-world applications ranging from video restoration to real-time surveillance enhancement, highlighting the technique's versatility and effectiveness. Under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio, for the problem of insufficient speech feature extraction and speech enhancement effect of the traditional neural network, this paper is based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD), temporal convolutional network (TCN), and gated convolution recurrent neural network (GCRN), while combining with feature fusion module (FFM), the adaptive mean median-empirical mode decomposition-multilayer gated feature fusion module convolutional recurrent neural networks (ME-MGFCRNs) for speech enhancement modeling. The network model uses a split-frequency learning strategy to learn low-frequency features and high-frequency features, i.e., the TCN and MGFCRN networks are used to obtain low-frequency and high-frequency features, and FFM processes the two sets of features to achieve speech enhancement in the form of feature mapping. The model proposed in this paper performs ablation and comparison experiments on the dataset to evaluate the enhancement effect of speech using PESQ, FwSegSNR, and STOI metrics. The research shows that under different noise environments and SNR conditions, the model proposed in this paper improves compared with other baseline models, especially under the low SNR condition of − 5 dB, FwSegSNR and PESQ improve by more than 0.86 dB and 0.02 compared with other baseline models. This paper considers the problem of scheduling independent jobs with release dates and tails on m identical machines to minimize the makespan. The three main bounds are the preemptive bound, the energetic bound and the Jackson Pseudo Preemptive bound. It is known that they are very close in practice. Intelligent identification of the different lithology of outcrops has been a major research challenge in the field of geology. The manual identification of outcrop lithology is labor-intensive and lacks systematicity and consistency. Intelligent lithology identification based on deep convolutional neural networks can significantly reduce such workload and also serves as the foundation for intelligent outcrop research. In this paper, we propose a workflow based on the DeepLabV3+ semantic segmentation neural network algorithm. The algorithm can intelligently identify the lithology of outcrop photos obtained by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) oblique photography. Based on this workflow, we can complete the tasks of dataset creation, model training, intelligent identification of outcrop lithology, and model accuracy evaluation. The dataset used in this paper is composed of high-resolution photos of the Fugu Tiansheng Bridge Shihezi Formation profile collected by UAV, which are annotated with three major categories and five subcategories of lithology. Then, we input the data into four types of neural networks, including a fully convolutional network (FCN), SegNet, U-Net, and DeepLabV3+, for training. The results indicate that the recognition accuracies of the four neural network algorithms, FCN, SegNet, U-Net, and DeepLabV3+, for outcrop lithology classification tasks based on UAV oblique photography images are 90.81%, 90.44%, 92.03%, and 93.88%, respectively. Among such algorithms, the DeepLabV3+ semantic segmentation neural network algorithm is reliable and accurate, and can provide a basis for intelligent lithology recognition. This paper establishes the solvability conditions and an expression of the exact solution to a system of three Sylvester-like quaternion tensor equations in four variables. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the general solution and the solvability conditions associated with the system, necessary and sufficient conditions are deduced to a system of Sylvester-like tensor equations, including the unknowns as η-Hermitian quaternion tensors. Over the years the number of research publications per year is growing exponentially. Finding research papers of quality from the massive literature of relevant articles is a challenging and time-consuming task. The approaches in the latest literature address citation recommendation by utilizing large bibliographic information and use machine learning and deep learning methods for the task. These techniques clearly require a large amount of training data as well as machines with high processing power. To overcome these issues, we propose a novel method by modifying the popular hyperlink induced topic search (HITS), a web page ranking algorithm, as citation recommendation using hyperlink induced topic search (CR-HITS) that works on a directed and weighted heterogeneous bibliographic network containing diverse types of nodes and edges. We define effective scoring schemes for nodes and edges based on basic bibliographic information like citations of papers, number of publications of an author, etc. Given a few seed papers, the citation recommendation algorithm CR-HITS is run on small neighborhoods of the seed papers and hence the time taken by the execution is very small to yield the final recommendations. To the best of our knowledge, HITS has been used for the first time for the citation recommendation problem. We perform extensive experimentation on DBLP (version-11) and ACM (version-9) datasets and compare the results with many baseline methods in terms of MAP, MRR, and recall@N measures. The performance of the proposed algorithms is superior with respect to the MAP metric and matches the second best for the other two metrics. Since the top two algorithms use deep learning methods and use much larger bibliographic information including abstracts of the papers, we claim that our approach utilizes very low resources, yet yields recommendations that are very close to the top recommendations. The problem of finding optimal block designs can be formulated as a combinatorial optimization, but its resolution is still a formidable challenge. This paper presents a general and user-friendly algorithm, namely Modified Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO), to construct optimal or near-optimal block designs. It can be used for several classes of block designs such as binary, non-binary and test-control block designs with correlated or uncorrelated observations. In order to evaluate the algorithm, we compare our results with the optimal designs presented in some published papers. In the petroleum and coal industries, digital image technology and acoustic emission technology are employed to study rock properties, but both exhibit flaws during data processing. Digital image technology is vulnerable to interference from fractures and scaling, leading to potential loss of image data; while acoustic emission technology is not hindered by these issues, noise from rock destruction can interfere with the electrical signals, causing errors. The monitoring errors of these techniques can undermine the effectiveness of rock damage analysis. To address this issue, this paper focuses on the restoration of image data acquired through digital image technology, leveraging deep learning techniques, and using soft and hard rocks made of similar materials as research subjects, an improved Incremental Transformer image algorithm is employed to repair distorted or missing strain nephograms during uniaxial compression experiments. The concrete implementation entails using a comprehensive training set of strain nephograms derived from digital image technology, fabricating masks for absent image segments, and predicting strain nephograms with full strain detail. Additionally, we adopt deep separable convolutional networks to optimize the algorithm's operational efficiency. Based on this, the analysis of rock damage is conducted using the repaired strain nephograms, achieving a closer correlation with the actual physical processes of rock damage compared to conventional digital image technology and acoustic emission techniques. The improved incremental Transformer algorithm presented in this paper will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of digital image technology in the realm of rock damage, saving time and money, and offering an innovative approach to traditional rock damage analysis. Advances in computer image recognition have significantly impacted many industries, including healthcare, security and autonomous systems. This paper aims to explore the potential of improving image algorithms to enhance computer image recognition. Specifically, we will focus on regression methods as a means to improve the accuracy and efficiency of identifying images. In this study, we will analyze various regression techniques and their applications in computer image recognition, as well as the resulting performance improvements through detailed examples and data analysis. This paper deals with the problems related to visual image processing in outdoor unstructured environment. Finally, the heterogeneous patterns are converted into the same pattern, and the heterogeneous patterns are extracted from the fusion features of data modes. The parallel computing power of quantum computing and the special properties of qubits provide an effective solution for image processing tasks. This paper presents a quantum image encryption algorithm based on Fisher–Yates algorithm and Logistic mapping. Firstly, the Fisher–Yates algorithm is used to generate three key sequences, one of which is used to encode the coordinate qubits of the image. Using the other two keys and the preset rules, the quantum coordinate scrambling operation is designed based on the encoded coordinate qubit, which effectively scrambles the spatial information of the plaintext image. Next, another set of key sequences is generated, one of which is used to encode the color qubits of the image. Using two other key sequences and different rules, a qubit plane scrambling operation based on coded color qubits is designed, and the color information of image is scrambled successfully. Finally, the quantum key image is generated based on Logistic mapping, and the key image is scrambled based on Fisher–Yates algorithm to improve the key complexity. The final ciphertext image is obtained by performing XOR operation between the original image and the scrambled key image. The complete quantum circuit diagram of the scheme is given in this paper. We have recently witnessed the rapid development of several emerging technologies, including the internet of things, which lead to a high interest in wireless sensor networks. Tiny sensor nodes are now important parts of a large number of complex systems, with numerous applications, including military, environment monitoring, and surveillance and body area sensor networks. A wireless sensor network builds the core part for IoT. Besides this, lifetime maximization is the biggest challenge in the wireless sensor network. Also, In a wireless sensor network, it is difficult to find an optimal node deployment approach that would minimize costs, be robust to node failures, decrease computing overhead and communication, and maintain a high degree of coverage and network connectivity. There is numerous literature addressed this challenge which is discussed in this paper; still there are lot many challenges yet to be addressed. Considering this scenario, in this paper, we propose a scheduled-based node deployment algorithm using Firefly Optimization (FA) to offer a circumstance where we have a group of target points that satisfy p-coverage and sensor nodes that satisfy q-connectivity, with subject to the selection of the optimal number of a sensor node that has the highest energy and minimum distance. The multiple parameters as no. of sensor nodes, distance, survivability factors, coverage, and connectivity of the sensor nodes are considered for designing the fitness function. A comprehensive statistical analysis is done using the simulation results to prove the proposed scheme's efficiency with other existing state-of-the-art methods under various p-coverage and q-connectivity configurations. This paper studies the forward–reflected–backward splitting algorithm with momentum terms for monotone inclusion problem of the sum of a maximal monotone and Lipschitz continuous monotone operators in Hilbert spaces. The forward–reflected–backward splitting algorithm is an interesting algorithm for inclusion problems with the sum of maximal monotone and Lipschitz continuous monotone operators due to the inherent feature of one forward evaluation and one backward evaluation per iteration it possesses. The results in this paper further explore the convergence behavior of the forward–reflected–backward splitting algorithm with momentum terms. We obtain weak, linear, and strong convergence results under the same inherent feature of one forward evaluation and one backward evaluation at each iteration. Numerical results show that forward–reflected–backward splitting algorithms with momentum terms are efficient and promising over some related splitting algorithms in the literature. Recently, many image encryption algorithms have been proposed. Part of them failed to pass the cryptanalysis test and were found to be unsecure. Some others were more secure and could resist the known cryptanalysis methods. Many of those recent schemes followed a well-known model that consists of encrypting the image's pixels using a variety of techniques and methods. Many algorithms were claimed to be secure and performant to be used in real applications. This paper investigates this claim by performing a comparative analysis between a chaotic algorithm recently proposed and the standard general purpose AES cryptosystem in a web application context. In recent years, Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA) is a kind of meta-heuristic optimization algorithm with simple structure, simple parameters and trigonometric function principle. It has been proved that it has good competitiveness among the existing optimization algorithms. However, the single mechanism of SCA leads to its insufficient utilization of the information of the whole population, insufficient ability to jump out of local optima and poor performance at solving complex objective function. Therefore, this paper introduces social learning strategy (SL) and elite opposition-based learning (EOBL) strategy to improve SCA, and proposes novel algorithm: enhancing Sine Cosine Algorithm based on elite opposition-based learning and social learning (ESLSCA). Social learning strategy takes full advantage of information from the entire population. The elite opposition-based learning strategy provides a possibility for the algorithm to jump out of local optima and increases the diversity of the population. To demonstrate the performance of ESLSCA, this paper uses 22 well-known benchmark test functions and CEC2019 test function set to evaluate ESLSCA. The foundation of this research is the quantum implementation of two hashing algorithms, namely Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA1) and Message Digest (MD5). Quantum cryptography is a challenging topic in network security for future networks. Quantum cryptography is an outgrowth of two broad topics—cryptology and cryptanalysis. In this paper, SHA1 and MD5 algorithms are designed and implemented for quantum computers. The main aim is to study and investigate the time requirement to build a hash and the bit rate at which a hash value is sent through. In this paper, a comprehensive analysis of these two algorithms is performed. Experiments have been done to compare and contrast the performances of the classical and proposed algorithms. In the experiment, it was found that the total time of execution of quantum SHA1 and quantum MD5 is much higher than the classical SHA1 and MD5. During quantum MD5 execution, it is observed that the time doubles when the number of chunks is increased from 1 to 2. The latent block model is used to simultaneously rank the rows and columns of a matrix to reveal a block structure. The algorithms used for estimation are often time consuming. However, recent work shows that the log-likelihood ratios are equivalent under the complete and observed (with unknown labels) models and the groups posterior distribution to converge as the size of the data increases to a Dirac mass located at the actual groups configuration. Based on these observations, the algorithm Largest Gaps is proposed in this paper to perform clustering using only the marginals of the matrix, when the number of blocks is very small with respect to the size of the whole matrix in the case of binary data. In addition, a model selection method is incorporated with a proof of its consistency. Thus, this paper shows that studying simplistic configurations (few blocks compared to the size of the matrix or very contrasting blocks) with complex algorithms is useless since the marginals already give very good parameter and classification estimates. Recent research has focused on applying blockchain technology to solve security-related problems in Internet of Things (IoT) networks. However, the inherent scalability issues of blockchain technology become apparent in the presence of a vast number of IoT devices and the substantial data generated by these networks. Therefore, in this paper, we use a lightweight consensus algorithm to cater to these problems. We propose a scalable blockchain-based framework for managing IoT data, catering to a large number of devices. This framework utilizes the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm to ensure enhanced performance and efficiency in resource-constrained IoT networks. DPoS being a lightweight consensus algorithm leverages a selected number of elected delegates to validate and confirm transactions, thus mitigating the performance and efficiency degradation in the blockchain-based IoT networks. In this paper, we implemented an Interplanetary File System (IPFS) for distributed storage, and Docker to evaluate the network performance in terms of throughput, latency, and resource utilization. We divided our analysis into four parts: Latency, throughput, resource utilization, and file upload time and speed in distributed storage evaluation. Our empirical findings demonstrate that our framework exhibits low latency, measuring less than 0.976 ms. The proposed technique outperforms Proof of Stake (PoS), representing a state-of-the-art consensus technique. The problem of finding a maximum size matching in a graph (known as the maximum matching problem) is one of the most classical problems in computer science. Despite a significant body of work dedicated to the study of this problem in the data stream model, the state-of-the-art single-pass semi-streaming algorithm for it is still a simple greedy algorithm that computes a maximal matching, and this way obtains 1 / 2 -approximation. Some previous works described two/three-pass algorithms that improve over this approximation ratio by using their second and third passes to improve the above mentioned maximal matching. One contribution of this paper continues this line of work by presenting new three-pass semi-streaming algorithms that work along these lines and obtain improved approximation ratios of 0.6111 and 0.5694 for triangle-free and general graphs, respectively. Therefore, it is interesting to come up with algorithms that do something else with their first pass (we term such algorithms non-maximal-matching-first algorithms). No such algorithms were previously known, and the main contribution of this paper is describing such algorithms that obtain approximation ratios of 0.5384 and 0.5555 in two and three passes, respectively, for general graphs. In order to address the challenges of identifying, detecting, and tracking moving objects in video surveillance, this paper emphasizes image-based dynamic entity detection. It delves into the complexities of numerous moving objects, dense targets, and intricate backgrounds. Leveraging the You Only Look Once (YOLOv3) algorithm framework, this paper proposes improvements in image segmentation and data filtering to address these challenges. These enhancements form a novel multi-object detection algorithm based on an improved YOLOv3 framework, specifically designed for video applications. Experimental validation demonstrates the feasibility of this algorithm, with success rates exceeding 60% for videos such as "jogging", "subway", "video 1", and "video 2". Notably, the detection success rates for "jogging" and "video 1" consistently surpass 80%, indicating outstanding detection performance. Although the accuracy slightly decreases for "Bolt" and "Walking2", success rates still hover around 70%. Comparative analysis with other algorithms reveals that this method's tracking accuracy surpasses that of particle filters, Discriminative Scale Space Tracker (DSST), and Scale Adaptive Multiple Features (SAMF) algorithms, with an accuracy of 0.822. This indicates superior overall performance in target tracking. Therefore, the improved YOLOv3-based multi-object detection and tracking algorithm demonstrates robust filtering and detection capabilities in noise-resistant experiments, making it highly suitable for various detection tasks in practical applications. It can address inherent limitations such as missed detections, false positives, and imprecise localization. In industry, the task of defect classification and defect localization is an important part of defect detection system. However, existing studies only focus on one task and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of both tasks. This paper proposes a defect detection system based on improved Yolo_v4, which greatly improves the detection ability of minor defects. For K_Means algorithm clustering prianchors question with strong subjectivity, the paper proposes the Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm to determine the number of Anchors. To solve the problem of low detection rate of small targets caused by insufficient reuse rate of low-level features in CSPDarknet53 feature extraction network, this paper proposes an ECA-DenseNet-BC-121 feature extraction network to improve it. And the Dual Channel Feature Enhancement (DCFE) module is proposed to improve the local information loss and gradient propagation obstruction caused by quad chain convolution in PANet networks to improve the robustness of the model. The experimental results on the fabric surface defect detection datasets show that the mAP of the improved Yolo_v4 is 98.97%, which is 7.67% higher than SSD, 3.75% higher than Faster_RCNN, 10.82% higher than Yolo_v4 tiny, and 5.35% higher than Yolo_v4, and the detection speed reaches 39.4 fps. In this paper, we study the power and limitations of component-stable algorithms in the low-space model of massively parallel computation (MPC). Recently Ghaffari, Kuhn and Uitto (FOCS 2019) introduced the class of component-stable low-space MPC algorithms, which are, informally, those algorithms for which the outputs reported by the nodes in different connected components are required to be independent. This very natural notion was introduced to capture most (if not all) of the known efficient MPC algorithms to date, and it was the first general class of MPC algorithms for which one can show non-trivial conditional lower bounds. In this paper we enhance the framework of component-stable algorithms and investigate its effect on the complexity of randomized and deterministic low-space MPC. Our key contributions include: 1. We revise and formalize the lifting approach of Ghaffari, Kuhn and Uitto. This requires a very delicate amendment of the notion of component stability, which allows us to fill in gaps in the earlier arguments. 2. We also extend the framework to obtain conditional lower bounds for deterministic algorithms and fine-grained lower bounds that depend on the maximum degree Δ . 3. We demonstrate a collection of natural graph problems for which deterministic component-unstable algorithms break the conditional lower bound obtained for component-stable algorithms. This implies that, in the context of deterministic algorithms, component-stable algorithms are conditionally weaker than the component-unstable ones. 4. We also show that the restriction to component-stable algorithms has an impact in the randomized setting. We present a natural problem which can be solved in O(1) rounds by a component-unstable MPC algorithm, but requires Ω (log log ∗ n) rounds for any component-stable algorithm, conditioned on the connectivity conjecture. Altogether our results imply that component-stability might limit the computational power of the low-space MPC model, at least in certain contexts, paving the way for improved upper bounds that escape the conditional lower bound setting of Ghaffari, Kuhn, and Uitto. This paper is about the opposite of judgement and calculation. This opposition has been a traditional anchor of critiques concerned with the rise of AI decision making over human judgement. Contrary to these approaches, it is argued that human judgement is not and cannot be replaced by calculation, but that it is human judgement that contextualises computational structures and gives them meaning and purpose. The article focuses on the epistemic structure of algorithms and artificial neural networks to find that they always depend on human judgement to be related to real life objects or purposes. By introducing the philosophical concept of judgement, it becomes clear that the property of judgement to provide meaning and purposiveness is based on the temporality of human life and the ambiguity of language, which quantitative processes lack. A juxtaposition shows that calculations and clustering can be used and referred to in more or less prejudiced and reflecting as well as opaque and transparent ways, but thereby always depend on human judgement. The paper clearly asserts that the transparency of AI is necessary for their autonomous use. This transparency requires the explicitness of the judgements that constitute these computational structures, thereby creating an awareness of the conditionality of such epistemic entities. Fruit recognition and location are the premises of robot automatic picking. YOLOv3 has been used to detect different fruits in complex environment. However, for the object with definite features, the complex network structure will increase the computing time and may cause overfitting. Therefore, this paper has carried out a lightweight design for the YOLOv3. This paper proposed an improved T-Net to detect tomato images. Firstly, the T-Net reduces the residual network layers. This paper changed the number of cycles in each group of the residual unit to 1, 2, 2, 1, and 1. Second, two feature layers with different scales are selected according to the features of tomatoes. Meanwhile, the convolutional layer at the neck has been reduced by two layers. Finally, the location and approximate diameter of the ripe tomato are obtained by combining the node information of the Intel D435i camera and T-Net in the Robot Operation System. T-Net obtains mean average precision (mAP) of 99.2%, F1-score of 98.9%, precision of 99.0%, and recall of 98.8% at a detection rate of 104.2 FPS. The proposed T-Net has outperformed the YOLOv3 with 0.4%, 0.1%, and 0.2% increase in precision, mAP, and F1-score. The detection speed of T-Net is 1.8 times faster than YOLOv3. The mean errors of the center coordinates and diameter of the tomato are 8.5 mm and 2.5 mm, respectively. This model provides a method for efficient real-time detection and location of tomatoes. Terminology, as a centralized carrier of expertise, creation, popularization, and disappearance, dynamically reflects the development and evolution of an industry. The automatic extraction of terminology is a key technology for creating a professional terminology database, and it is also a key topic in the field of natural language processing. The purpose of this paper is to study how to analyse a term extraction algorithm based on machine learning and a comprehensive feature strategy. Focusing on the problems of poor generality and single statistical features of current term extraction algorithms, this paper proposes an improved domain ontology term extraction algorithm based on a comprehensive feature strategy. Moreover, automatic term extraction experiments based on a word-based maximum entropy model and a conditional random field model based on machine learning are conducted in this paper. Its word-based conditional random field model outperforms the maximum entropy model. The experimental results show that the algorithm based on the comprehensive feature strategy improves the accuracy by 8.6% compared with the TF-IDF algorithm and the C-value term extraction algorithm. Aiming at the shortcomings of Chimp optimization algorithm (ChOA), which is easy to fall into local optimal value and imbalance between global exploration ability and local exploitation ability. To improve ChOA from the perspective of multi-strategy mixing, MSChimp was proposed, and the algorithm was applied to global optimization and minimum spanning tree problems. The main research work of this paper is as follows: (1) In the initialization stage of ChOA, an opposition-based learning strategy was introduced to improve the population diversity; Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA) was introduced in the exploitation process to improve the convergence speed and accuracy of the algorithm in the later stage, so as to balance the exploration and exploitation capabilities of the algorithm. (2) The improved algorithm was compared with different types of meta-heuristic algorithms in 20 benchmark functions and CEC 2019 test sets, and was used to solve the minimum spanning tree. The experimental results show that the improved ChOA has significantly improved the ability to find the optimal value, which verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of MSChimp. The complex domain adaptive filtering algorithms has shown excellent performance in the field of signal processing. Among them, the well-known complex least mean square (CLMS) algorithm has been widely used in practical projects. However, the CLMS algorithm only considers the case where the output signal is disturbed by noise, ignores the input signal may also be interfered by noise. Moreover, the signal is likely to be disturbed by impulsive noise in practice. Based on the above problems, the complex total least mean M-estimation (CTLMM) adaptive algorithm based on the M-estimation function is put forward in this paper. The algorithm can well handle the case where both input and output signals are subject to complex domain noise interference, and it also shows robustness with impulsive noise. In this paper, an autonomous driving lateral control algorithm is introduced for bus rapid transit (BRT, with an articulated bus). The control algorithm includes an integration of model predictive control (MPC) for lateral control and PID control algorithms for longitudinal control considering the vehicle properties. To verify the algorithm in real-time, a model-in-the-loop system was developed using TruckSim in NI Veristand and Matlab/Simulink in Micro-AutoBox. In TruckSim, a BRT plant model was verified using vehicle tests and then applied. In addition, GPS data from a BRT route were acquired from the vehicle test and applied to a TruckSim scenario. In the Matlab/Simulink, the autonomous driving lateral control algorithm for MPC was developed. To communicate between the plant model and the control algorithm in real-time, a controller area network (CAN) protocol was defined and applied like a real vehicle. Therefore, a real-time verification environment was prepared to test the real-time autonomous driving lateral control algorithm for BRT. By using the verification environment, the control algorithm was verified using the ISO-11270 standard. Although many efforts have been made to develop an autonomous driving control algorithm, autonomous driving of BRT is expected more tangible because the BRT has its own lane and speed limitation. In this paper, a new appropriate diagonal matrix estimation of the Hessian is introduced by minimizing the Byrd and Nocedal function subject to the weak secant equation. The Hessian estimate is used to correct the framework of a nonmonotone trust region algorithm with the regularized quasi-Newton method. Moreover, to counteract the adverse effect of monotonicity, we introduce a new nonmonotone strategy. The global and superlinear convergence of the suggested algorithm is established under some standard conditions. Constrained least mean square (CLMS) algorithm is the most popular constrained adaptive filtering algorithm due to its simple structure and easy implementation. However, its convergence slows down when the input signal is colored. To address this issue, this paper firstly introduces the normalized subband adaptive filter (NSAF) into the constrained filtering problem and derives a constrained NSAF (CNSAF) algorithm using the Lagrange multiplier method. Benefiting from the good decorrelation capability of the NSAF, the proposed CNSAF algorithm significantly improves the convergence performance of the CLMS algorithm under colored inputs. Then, the mean and mean-square stability of the CNSAF algorithm is analyzed, and the theoretical models to characterize the transient and steady-state mean square deviation (MSD) behaviors of the CNSAF algorithm are derived utilizing the Kronecker product property and vectorization method. Further to extend the CNSAF algorithm to the problem of sparse system identification, a sparse version of the CNSAF algorithm (S-CNSAF) is derived. Finally, the validity of the derived theoretical MSD prediction models and the superiority of the proposed algorithms are confirmed by extensive computer simulations on system identification with colored inputs. In some production processes, the effort associated with a certain activity for its execution can vary over time. In this case, the amount of work per time unit devoted to each activity, so as its duration, is not univocally determined. This kind of problem can be represented by an activity project network with the so-called feeding precedence relations, and activity variable execution intensity. In this paper, we propose a forward recursion algorithm able to find the earliest start and finish times of each activity, in O (m log n) time, with n and m being the number of activities and the number of precedence relations, respectively. Regional debris flow susceptibility assessment is an effective method to prevent debris flow hazards, and deep learning is emerging as a novel approach in this discipline with the development of computers. However, when debris flow samples are insufficient, there will be problems like overfitting or misclassification. To overcome these problems, this paper proposes a semi-supervised deep neural network model (LPA-DNN) combined with label propagation algorithm (LPA), which utilizes high confidence unlabeled samples as pseudo-samples reasonably in few-label scenarios. Xinzhou, Shanxi Province, was selected as the study area, and a dataset containing 292 debris flow samples and 10 types of impact factors was compiled based on watershed units. Using the dataset and pseudo-samples, the LPA-DNN model was built to get debris flow susceptibility map. Meanwhile, DNN and SVM were set up for comparison to demonstrate that the proposed LPA-DNN model has excellent performance and higher accuracy. LPA-DNN alleviates the problem of low accuracy that caused by samples lacking in deep learning to a certain extent, and obtains great classification results, which proves that it is quite potential in regional debris flow susceptibility assessment. Applying parallel-in-time algorithms to multiscale Hamiltonian systems to obtain stable long-time simulations is very challenging. In this paper, we present novel data-driven methods aimed at improving the standard parareal algorithm developed by Lions et al. in 2001, for multiscale Hamiltonian systems. The first method involves constructing a correction operator to improve a given inaccurate coarse solver through solving a Procrustes problem using data collected online along parareal trajectories. The second method involves constructing an efficient, high-fidelity solver by a neural network trained with offline generated data. For the second method, we address the issues of effective data generation and proper loss function design based on the Hamiltonian function. We show proof-of-concept by applying the proposed methods to a Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) problem. The numerical results demonstrate that the Procrustes parareal method is able to produce solutions that are more stable in energy compared to the standard parareal. The neural network solver can achieve comparable or better runtime performance compared to numerical solvers of similar accuracy. This article delves into the critical realm of modern computer cluster management. It focuses on the effect that the increasing heterogeneity of the clusters has on the workload managers. The proposed schedulers consider node properties instead of job properties to make decisions, which is something not currently done by mainstream scheduling algorithms. In order to increase the knowledge in this topic, this paper proposes two novel algorithms whose main task is to choose the best compute nodes to schedule the incoming jobs. To this effect, they exclusively take into account the properties of the nodes, instead of the common trend of considering the properties of the jobs. The problem of weight degradation is inevitable in particle filtering algorithms, and the resampling approach is an important method to reduce the particle degradation phenomenon. To solve the problem of particle diversity loss in existing resampling methods, this paper proposes a new digital twin-based resampling algorithm to improve the accuracy of particle filter estimation based on the traditional resampling algorithm. The digital twin-based resampling algorithm continuously improves the resampling process through the data interaction between the data model and the physical model, and realizes the real-time correction capability of particle weights that traditional resampling methods do not have. The new algorithm calibration rules are divided according to the size of particle weights, with particles of large weights retained and particles of small weights selectively processed. Compared with the traditional resampling algorithm, the new resampling algorithm reduces the mean square error of the particle filter estimation results by 16.62 % , 16.49 % , and 13.86 % , and improves the computing speed by 7.67 % , 2.25 % , and 7.54 % , respectively, in the simulation experiments of nonlinear systems with univariate unsteady state growth model. In this paper, we reveal and study a new challenging problem faced by object Re-IDentification (ReID), i.e., Coupled Noisy Labels (CNL) which refers to the Noisy Annotation (NA) and the accompanied Noisy Correspondence (NC). Specifically, NA refers to the wrongly-annotated identity of samples during manual labeling, and NC refers to the mismatched training pairs including false positives and false negatives whose correspondences are established based on the NA. Clearly, CNL will limit the success of the object ReID paradigm that simultaneously performs identity-aware discrimination learning on the data samples and pairwise similarity learning on the training pairs. To overcome this practical but ignored problem, we propose a robust object ReID method dubbed Learning with Coupled Noisy Labels (LCNL). In brief, LCNL first estimates the annotation confidences of samples and then adaptively divides the training pairs into four groups with the confidences to rectify the correspondences. After that, LCNL employs a novel objective function to achieve robust object ReID with theoretical guarantees. To verify the effectiveness of LCNL, we conduct extensive experiments on five benchmark datasets in single- and cross-modality object ReID tasks compared with 14 algorithms. The aim of this paper is to propose efficient algorithms for computing the energetic lower bounds of the cumulative sheduling problem. So we have to schedule in a minimal makespan a set of non preemptive tasks on a resource with a given capacity. A task has a release date, a processing time and a tail and requires a given amount of the resource capacity during its processing. The energetic lower bound is the largest value of the makespan such that the energetic reasoning check cannot detect unfeasability. We report some algorithms to practically compute this lower bound with efficient complexity. These algorithms rely on iterative augmentations of C max until the cumulative constraint or the energetic constraint is satisfied. Our Computational results show their practical efficiencies. In quantum computing there are quite a few universal gate sets, each having their own characteristics. In this paper we study the Clifford+CS universal fault-tolerant gate set. The CS gate is used is many applications and this gate set is an important alternative to Clifford+T. We introduce a generating set in order to represent any unitary implementable by this gate set and with this we derive a bound on the CS-count of arbitrary multi-qubit unitaries. Analysing the channel representation of the generating set elements, we infer J n CS ⊂ J n T , where J n CS and J n T are the set of unitaries exactly implementable by the Clifford+CS and Clifford+T gate sets, respectively. We develop CS-count optimal synthesis algorithms for both approximately and exactly implementable multi-qubit unitaries. With the help of these we derive a CS-count-optimal circuit for Toffoli, implying J n Tof = J n CS , where J n Tof is the set of unitaries exactly implementable by the Clifford+Toffoli gate set. This paper proposes a novel multi-hybrid algorithm named DHPN, using the best-known properties of dwarf mongoose algorithm (DMA), honey badger algorithm (HBA), prairie dog optimizer (PDO), cuckoo search (CS), grey wolf optimizer (GWO) and naked mole rat algorithm (NMRA). It follows an iterative division for extensive exploration and incorporates major parametric enhancements for improved exploitation operation. To counter the local optima problems, a stagnation phase using CS and GWO is added. Six new inertia weight operators have been analyzed to adapt algorithmic parameters, and the best combination of these parameters has been found. An analysis of the suitability of DHPN towards population variations and higher dimensions has been performed. For performance evaluation, the CEC 2005 and CEC 2019 benchmark data sets have been used. A comparison has been performed with differential evolution with active archive (JADE), self-adaptive DE (SaDE), success history based DE (SHADE), LSHADE-SPACMA, extended GWO (GWO-E), jDE100, and others. The DHPN algorithm is also used to solve the image fusion problem for four fusion quality metrics, namely, edge-based similarity index ( Q A B / F ), sum of correlation difference (SCD), structural similarity index measure (SSIM), and artifact measure ( N A B / F ). The average Q A B / F = 0.765508 , S C D = 1.63185 , S S I M = 0.726317 , and N A B / F = 0.006617 shows the best combination of results obtained by DHPN with respect to the existing algorithms such as DCH, CBF, GTF, JSR and others. Experimental and statistical Wilcoxon's and Friedman's tests show that the proposed DHPN algorithm performs significantly better in comparison to the other algorithms under test. This paper describes a new method for automatic preparation of a noisy seismic record for further analysis using expert information systems. The method is based on seismogram fingerprints, which, due to their concise but informative pattern, allow the development of a reliable algorithm for finding important noise characteristics. The search for the optimal cutoff frequency for a high-pass filter is especially important under conditions of partial overlap of the signal and noise spectra, when the latter have high intensity. It is precisely this difficult case that this study aims to address. The article analyzes the methodology developed here in application to several hundred records of regional earthquakes and explosions. The analysis showed that reliable results can be achieved in more than 90% of the cases. In addition, the defects and limitations of the method are mentioned, which are logical consequences of its advantages.
