Medical imaging refers to the process of obtaining images of internal organs for therapeutic purposes such as discovering or studying diseases. The primary objective of medical image analysis is to improve the efficacy of clinical research and treatment options. Deep learning has revamped medical image analysis, yielding excellent results in image processing tasks such as registration, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. The prime motivations for this are the availability of computational resources and the resurgence of deep convolutional neural networks. Deep learning techniques are good at observing hidden patterns in images and supporting clinicians in achieving diagnostic perfection. It has proven to be the most effective method for organ segmentation, cancer detection, disease categorization, and computer-assisted diagnosis. Many deep learning approaches have been published to analyze medical images for various diagnostic purposes. In this paper, we review the work exploiting current state-of-the-art deep learning approaches in medical image processing. We begin the survey by providing a synopsis of research works in medical imaging based on convolutional neural networks. Second, we discuss popular pretrained models and general adversarial networks that aid in improving convolutional networks' performance. In the realm of structural health monitoring (SHM), understanding the expected behavior of a structure is vital for the timely identification of anomalous activities. Existing methods often model only the physical quantities of monitoring data, neglecting the corresponding temporal information. To address this, this paper presents an innovative deep learning framework that synergistically combines a BiLSTM model, fortified by a temporal pattern attention (TPA) mechanism, with time-encoded temperature and traffic-induced deflection-temporal patterns. The arithmetic optimization algorithm (AOA) is employed for optimal hyperparameter tuning, and incremental learning was implemented to enable real-time updates of the model. Based on the proposed framework, an anomaly detection method was subsequently developed. This method is bidirectional: it uses quantile loss to provide expected ranges for structural behavior, identifying isolated anomalies, while the windowed normalized mutual information (WNMI) based on multivariate kernel density estimation (MKDE) helps detect trend variability caused by decreases in structural stiffness. This framework and the anomaly detection method were validated using data from an operational cable-stayed bridge. This paper extends our previous method for COVID-19 diagnosis, proposing an enhanced solution for detecting COVID-19 from computed tomography (CT) images using a lean transfer learning-based model. To decrease model misclassifications, two key steps of image processing were employed. Firstly, the uppermost and lowermost slices were removed, preserving sixty percent of each patient's slices. Secondly, all slices underwent manual cropping to emphasize the lung areas. Subsequently, resized CT scans (224 × 224) were input into an Xception transfer learning model with a modified output. Both Xception's architecture and pretrained weights were leveraged in the method. A big and rigorously annotated database of CT images was used to verify the method. The number of patients/subjects in the dataset is more than 5000, and the number and shape of the slices in each CT scan varies greatly. Verification was made both on the validation partition and on the test partition of unseen images. Results on the COV19-CT database showcased not only improvement from our previous solution and the baseline but also comparable performance to the highest-achieving methods on the same dataset. Further validation studies could explore the scalability and adaptability of the developed methodologies across diverse healthcare settings and patient populations. This paper introduces a novel and comprehensive model for the analysis of dam deformation trends, integrating the variational mode decomposition (VMD) method, fractal theory, and the whale optimization algorithm (WOA) to re6ne the deep extreme learning machine (DELM) model. This integration allows for a meticulous denoising process through VMD, e7ectively isolating pertinent signal characteristics from noise and measurement interference. Following this, fractal theory is utilized to conduct an in-depth qualitative analysis of the denoised data, capturing intricate patterns within the deformation trends. The detection of ballastless track surface (BTS) defects is a prerequisite for ensuring the safe operation of high-speed railways. Traditional convolutional neural networks fail to fully exploit contextual information and lack global pixel representations. The extensive stacking of convolutions leads deep learning models to play a black-box detection role, lacking interpretability. Due to the current lack of sufficient high-quality surface data for ballastless tracks, it is a severe constraint on the accurate identification of the substructure state in high-speed railways. This paper proposes an intelligent detection method for BTS defects named TrackNet based on self-attention and transfer learning. The method enhances the fusion ability of global features of BTS defects using multihead self-attention. The model's dependence on extensive defect data is reduced by transferring knowledge from large-scale publicly available datasets. Experimental results demonstrate that compared to advanced Swin Transformer model results, the TrackNet model achieves improvements in average accuracy and F1-score by 5.15% and 5.16%, respectively, on limited test data. The TrackNet model visualizes the decision regions of the model in identifying BTS defects, revealing the black-box recognition mechanism of deep learning models. Various concrete bridges have been built across oceans, valleys, and mountains; however, the settlement displacement of bridge piers caused by environmental changes or self-weight during construction phases often leads to uneven stresses, cracking, and eventual collapse. To address the labor-intensive and high-cost issues of pier displacement monitoring using contact-type sensors, this paper proposes an automatic vision-based method for measuring pier settlement displacement under complex construction environments, such as complex image backgrounds, varying ambient light, and camera movement. In the proposed method, a deep learning network was first employed to eliminate the adverse effect of complex image backgrounds and varying ambient light on the accuracy of target detection; then, an adaptive displacement extraction algorithm without a human-computer interaction process was developed to automatically extract the center coordinates of targets attaching to the bridge piers and reference platform; finally, the pier settlement displacement was calculated by using the relative displacements obtained by a dual camera system to eliminate the measurement error caused by camera translation and rotation movements. Laboratory tests of a cantilever beam and field tests of a continuous multispan concrete girder highway bridge under construction have successfully validated the effectiveness and robustness of the developed methodology. Deep learning has recently received extensive attention in the field of rolling-bearing fault diagnosis owing to its powerful feature expression capability. With the help of deep learning, we can fully extract the deep features hidden in the data, significantly improving the accuracy and efficiency of fault diagnosis. Despite this progress, deep learning still faces two outstanding problems. (1) Each layer uses the same convolution kernel to extract features, making it difficult to adaptively select convolution kernels based on the features of the input image, which limits the network's adaptability to different input features and leads to weak feature extraction. (2) Large number of parameters and long training time. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes an integrated deep neural network that combines an improved selective kernel network (SKNet) with an enhanced Inception-ResNet-v2, named SIR-CNN. First, based on the SKNet, a new three-branch SKNet was designed. Second, the new SKNet is embedded into a depthwise separable convolution network such that the model can adaptively select convolution kernels of different sizes during training. Furthermore, the convolution structure in the Inception-ResNet-v2 network was replaced by the improved depthwise separable convolution network to achieve effective feature extraction. Finally, the time-frequency maps of the raw vibration signals are obtained through short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and then sent to the proposed SIR-CNN network for experiments. Contemporary multiscale construction object detection algorithms rely predominantly on fully-supervised deep learning, requiring arduous and time-consuming labeling process. This paper presents a novel semisupervised multiscale construction objects detection (SS-MCOD) by harnessing nearly infinite unlabeled images along with limited labels, achieving more accurate and robust detection results. SS-MCOD uses a deformable convolutional network (DCN)-based teacher-student joint learning framework. DCN uses deformable advantages to extract and fuse multiscale construction object features. The teacher module generates pseudolabels for construction objects in unlabeled images, while the student module learns the location and classification of construction objects in both labeled images and unlabeled images with pseudolabels. Experimental validation using commonly used construction datasets demonstrates the accuracy and generalization performance of SS-MCOD. Cellular signaling data have become increasingly indispensable in analyzing residents' travel characteristic. Especially with the enhancement of positioning quality in 4G-LTE and 5G wireless communication systems, it is expected that the identification accuracy of fine-grained travel modes will achieve an optimal level. However, due to data privacy issues, the empirical evaluation of the performance of different identification methods is not yet sufficient. This paper builds a travel mode identification model that utilizes the gated recurrent unit (GRU) neural network. With 24 features as input, this method can identify four traffic modes, including walking, bicycle, car, and bus. Moreover, in cooperation with the operator, we organized an experiment collecting cellular signaling data, as well as the corresponding GPS data. Using the collected dataset as ground-truth data, the performance of the method presented in this paper and other popular methods is verified and compared. The results indicate that the GRU-based method has a better performance, with a precision, recall, and F score of 90.5%. Taking F score as an example, the outcome of the GRU-based method is about 6% to 7% higher than methods based on other machine learning algorithms. Considering the identification accuracy and model training time comprehensively, the method suggested in this paper outperforms the other three deep learning-based methods, namely, recurrent neural network (RNN), long short-term memory network (LSTM), and bidirectional long short-term memory network (Bi-LSTM). As an important part of the bridge structure system, the underwater pile-pier structure usually occurs various defects on its surfaces due to its complex hydrological environment. The existing conventional defect detection approaches exist two aspects of problems: (1) insufficient definition and color distortion of the underwater images, and (2) low efficiency and error-prone. To solve these problems, this paper proposed the target defect detection model by integrating the image-fusion enhancement algorithm and the deep learning algorithm. Firstly, by analyzing the reasons for the degradation of the underwater images, the ACE (automatic color equalization) and CLAHE (contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization) algorithms are selected to enhance the image, respectively. Secondly, the two enhanced images are fused based on the point sharpness weight, and then the fusion results are further sharpened by the USM (unsharp mask) algorithm, thus obtaining the final fused images. Thirdly, 3,200 fused images are taken as the training set, by adopting the YOLOv3 algorithm to train the detection model, and then the training model is validated and tested by the other each 400 fused images, thus building up the target automatic detection model of underwater pile-pier surface defects. Finally, a series of comparison and discussion were conducted to validate the effectiveness of image-fusion and the robustness and effectiveness of the target detection model. The results found that the target detection model has excellent robustness against noise and effectiveness in the surface defect detection. This indicates that the image-fusion approach proposed in this paper can effectively enhance the image features, and the target detection model is feasible, robust, and effective in the automatic detection of surface defects on underwater pile-pier structures. With the development of smart classrooms, analyzing students' emotions for classroom learning is an effective means of accurately capturing their learning process. Although facial expression-based emotion analysis methods are effective in analyzing classroom learning emotions, current research focuses on facial expressions and does not consider the fact that expressions in different postures do not represent the same emotions. To provide a continuous and deeper understanding of students' learning emotions, this study proposes an algorithm to characterize learning emotions based on classroom time-series image data. First, face expression data for classroom scenarios are established to address the lack of expression databases in real teaching environments. Second, to improve the accuracy of facial expression recognition, a residual channel cross transformer masking net expression recognition model is proposed in this paper. Finally, to address the problem that the existing research dimension of learning emotion is too single, this paper uses the facial expression and head posture data obtained from deep learning models for fusion analysis and innovatively proposes a Dempster–Shafer evidence-theoretic fusion model to characterize the learning emotion within the lecture duration of knowledge points. The experiments show that both the proposed expression recognition model and the learning sentiment analysis algorithm have good performance, with the expression recognition model achieving an accuracy of 73.58% on the FER2013 dataset. In the process of steel production, the defects on the surface of steel will adversely affect the subsequent processing of a product. Accurate detection of such defects is the key to improve production efficiency and economic benefits. In this paper, an end-to-end steel surface defect detection and size measurement system based on the YOLOv5 model is designed. Firstly, in consideration of the defect location and direction correlation in the production process, a coordinate attention mechanism is added at the head of YOLOv5 to strengthen the spatial correlation of the steel surface and an adaptive anchor box generation method based on defect shape difference feature is proposed, which realizes the detection of three main types of defects on the Pytorch deep learning framework. Secondly, BiFPN is used to strengthen the feature fusion and a transformer encoder is added to improve the performance of detecting small defects. Thirdly, calculate the conversion ratio between the pixel and the actual size according to the standard reference specimen and obtain the actual size through the pixel statistics of the defect area to achieve pixel level size measurement. Finally, the steel surface defect detection and size measurement system are designed in this paper, which consist of various hardware, related measurement, and detection algorithms. According to the experimental results, the comprehensive defect detection accuracy of this method reaches 93.6%, of which the scratch detection accuracy reaches 95.7%. The detection speed reaches 133 fps and the defect size measurement accuracy reaches 0.5 mm. Experimental result shows that the defect detection and size measurement system designed in this paper can accurately detect and measure various industrial production defects and can be applied to the actual production process. Accurate estimation of the road adhesion coefficient can help drivers and vehicles perceive changes in road state effectively, reducing the occurrence of traffic crashes accordingly. Therefore, this paper proposes a road adhesion coefficient estimation method based on vehicle-road coordination and deep learning. Firstly, a vehicle-based data feedback system combined with a vehicle-road network cloud is introduced, and CarSim simulation is used to expand the data set and train the model effectively. Then, the dynamic analysis of the whole vehicle is carried out, and the vehicle operation data related to the adhesion coefficient are obtained as the input of the estimation model. Then a combined model of road adhesion coefficient estimation based on self-attention (SA), convolutional neural network (CNN), and long short-term memory (LSTM) is established, to reduce the instability of the prediction, Q-learning is used to optimize the weight of the model. Finally, the model is verified by the simulation data and the actual vehicle-based data. The results show that the vehicle-based data feedback system combined with the vehicle-road network Ccloud is effective, and compared with other commonly used model, the estimation model proposed in this paper can effectively predict the road adhesion coefficient. Crack detection at the pixel level across complex scenarios (structural interference and adverse working conditions) is a critical consideration in the maintenance of ballastless track slab (BTS). Although existing deep learning models achieve acceptable accuracy on cracks with a monotonous background, the ground truth with high labor cost is inevitable and their performance in complex scenarios may fall far below their theoretical bounds or even cause "all-black images." A hybrid algorithm based on synthetic data from digital twin model and weakly supervised style transfer is proposed in this paper for addressing the above challenges. The algorithm uses a region-attention strategy to enable the uncontrolled generative adversarial network (GAN) focusing its attention on weak labels containing crack regions, directly obtaining segmentation results with the same style as the ground truth of the crack forest dataset. In addition, a digital twin model that can simulate the real inspection working conditions is established to generate a synthetic crack dataset, enabling the hybrid algorithm to extract the most discriminative features. The results show that the performance of the hybrid algorithm on inspection images across complex scenarios is nearly 25% higher than that of the DeepLabv3+ network, while the time cost consumed is only 0.5% of the latter. The deployment of the region attention strategy also enables the hybrid algorithm to achieve a mean intersection of union (MIoU) of 79.38%, which is nearly twice as much as that of GAN. It not only eliminates the oversegmentation caused by structures such as rails and fastener systems but also overcomes "all-black images." In addition, synthetic data can greatly enlarge the range, type, and number of discriminative crack features compared with data augmentation based on limited real data, thus enhancing the performance of the hybrid algorithm for uncertain inspection data. With the emergence and vigorous development of 5G technology, there is a significant surge in network usage and traffic, resulting in heightened complexity within network and IT environments. This exponential increase in activity produces a plethora of events, making conventional systems inadequate for the efficient management of 5G networks. In comparison to 4G technology, 5G technology brings forth a host of new features, one of which is the network data analytics function (NWDAF). This function grants network operators the flexibility to either employ their own data analytics methodologies based on machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) into their networks. In this paper, we present a dataset named "NWDAF-NFPP" for network function performance time series prediction, collected from a laboratory at China Telecom. The dataset is carefully anonymized to ensure maximum realism and comprehensiveness, while safeguarding sensitive information. It encompasses eight categories of network functions, with data collected at five-minute intervals. The availability of this dataset provides valuable resources for researchers to conduct time series prediction research on network element performance. Following data collection, a total of six models were employed for network element performance prediction, encompassing both machine learning and deep learning approaches. This diverse set of models was carefully chosen to ensure comprehensive coverage of different techniques and algorithms. Through the comparison and analysis of these models, we aim to evaluate their predictive capabilities and identify the most effective approach for network element performance prediction. This comparative analysis will provide valuable insights into the strengths and limitations of each model, aiding in informed decision-making for network optimization and management strategies in the future. The problem of intrusion detection has new solutions, thanks to the widespread use of machine learning in the field of network security, but it still has a few issues at this time. Traditional machine learning techniques to intrusion detection rely on expert experience to choose features, and deep learning approaches have a low detection efficiency. In this paper, an intrusion detection model based on feature selection and improved one-dimensional convolutional neural network was proposed. This model first used the extreme gradient boosting decision tree (XGboost) algorithm to sort the preprocessed data, and then it used comparison to weed out 55 features with a higher contribution. Then, the extracted features were fed into the improved one-dimensional convolutional neural network (I1DCNN), and this network training was used to complete the final classification task. The feature selection and improved one-dimensional convolutional neural network (FS-I1DCNN) intrusion detection model not only solved the traditional machine learning method of relying on expert experience to extract features but also improved the detection efficiency of the model, reduced the training time while reducing the dimension, and increased the overall accuracy. In comparison to the I1DCNN model without feature extraction and the conventional one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1DCNN) model, the experimental results demonstrate that the FS-I1DCNN model's overall accuracy increases by 0.67% and 2.94%, respectively. Background. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious illness that spreads widely over a short period of time and finally causes a pandemic. Unfortunately, the lack of radiologists, improper COVID-19 diagnosing procedures, and insufficient medical supplies have all played roles in these devastating losses of life. Deep learning (DL) could be used to detect and classify COVID-19 for potential image-based diagnosis. Materials and Methods. This paper proposes an improved deep convolutional neural network (IDConv-Net) to detect and classify COVID-19 using X-ray and computed tomography (CT) images. Before the training phase, preprocessing methods such as filtering, data normalization, classification variable encoding, and data augmentation were used in conjunction with the proposed IDConv-Net to increase the effectiveness of the detection and classification processes. To extract essential features, deep CNN is then employed. As a result, the suggested model can identify patterns and relationships crucial to the image classification task, resulting in more precise and useful diagnoses. Python and Keras (with TensorFlow as a backend) were used to carry out the experiment. Results. The proposed IDConv-Net was tested using chest X-rays and CT images collected from hospitals in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and online databases. After evaluating the model, the proposed IDConv-Net achieved an accuracy of 99.53% and 98.41% in training and testing for CT images and 97.49% and 96.99% in training and testing for X-ray images, respectively. Further, the area under the curve (AUC) value is 0.954 and 0.996 for X-ray and CT images, respectively, indicating the excellent performance of the proposed model. Conclusion. The findings of our proposed IDConv-Net model confirm that the model outperformed compared to existing COVID-19 detection and classification models. Ensemble learning, as a kind of method to improve the generalization ability of classifiers, is often used to improve the model effect in the field of deep learning. However, the present ensemble learning methods mostly adopt voting fusion in combining strategies. This strategy has difficulty mining effective information from the classifiers and cannot effectively reflect the relationship between different classifiers. Ensemble learning based on the evidential inference rule (ER rule) can effectively excavate the internal relationships among different classifiers and has a certain interpretability. However, the ER rule depends on the weight distribution of different combination strategies, and the setting of the evidence weight will affect the accuracy and stability of the model. Therefore, this paper proposes a new ensemble learning method based on multiple fusion weighted evidential reasoning rules and constructs an ensemble learning framework for data fusion and decision mapping. This framework takes the evidence weight, confidence, and feature data of each classifier as input and the integration results as output. The weight of evidence was determined by multiple fusion weights of the entropy weight method and order relation method. Finally, the integrated learning process is set up by the ER algorithm. Quick access recorder (QAR) data have been used to evaluate pilot performance for decades. However, traditional evaluation methods suffer from the inability to consider multiple parameters simultaneously, and most of them need to select features manually in advance. To study the relationship between QAR data and pilot performance, this paper puts forward one-dimensional convolutional neural networks (1-D CNN) which consider QAR metrics in an integrated manner. This paper obtained indicators describing the operational status of an aircraft first. Then, the correlation between indicators and pilot performance (skill levels) was studied. Inspired by the fact that CNN can extract both local and global features, this paper has developed an approach to achieve the state-of-the-art result in pilot performance evaluation, which was tested on operating data of Boeing 737. The results prove that other methods do not work well, while the 1-D CNN improves the prediction accuracy of 5 pilot skill levels. Besides, when it is used on a binary classification problem, the result improves to 78.18%. Finally, the indicators were grouped into 5 common factors by factor analysis and fed into 1-D CNN in different combinations. The option butterfly portfolio is the commonly option arbitrage strategy. In reality, because the distribution of the option state price density (SPD) function is not normal and unknown, so the nonparametric deep learning methods to estimate option butterfly portfolio returns are proposed. This paper constructs the single-index nonparametric option pricing model which contains multiple influencing factors and presents the nonparametric estimation form for option butterfly portfolio returns. The empirical analysis shows that the SPD function estimated by using single-index nonparametric option model can effectively calculate the option butterfly portfolio returns with the minimum option strike price interval and provide an effective reference tool for risk-averse investors with limited risk preferences. The rapid expansion of metro networks, e.g., in many cities of China, continuously introduces the operation of new stations every year. Due to the lack of historical data and complicate variations of short-term passenger flow in the early stage of operation, it is difficult to accurately predict inbound and outbound passenger flows of new metro stations in the short term, which would be the database for train scheduling for new stations before operation, dynamic capacity optimization for new stations under operation, short-term prediction of cycle sharing demands near new stations, and so on. Traditional methods usually failed to exactly reflect the complicate rules or were unusable without the new station's historical data. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a short-term inbound and outbound passenger flow prediction model for new metro stations at the early stage of operation by combining the K-means clustering algorithm, an improved spatiotemporal long short-term memory model (Sp-LSTM), and a real-time feedback error model (mean absolute error, MAE), where passenger flows' spatial-temporal characteristics and land-use relevance are considered. The application in Guangzhou Metro, China, where Line 21 is regarded as a new line, shows that the proposed K-Sp-LSTM model has the best prediction accuracy compared with traditional methods. Crack detection based on deep learning is an advanced technology, and many scholars have proposed many methods for the segmentation of pavement cracks. However, due to the difference of image specifications and crack characteristics, some existing methods are not effective in detecting cracks of containment. To quickly detect cracks and accurately extract crack quantitative information, this paper proposes a crack detection model, called MA_CrackNet, based on deep learning and a crack quantitative analysis algorithm. MA_CrackNet is an end-to-end model based on multiscale fusions that achieve pixel-level segmentation of cracks. Experimental results show that the proposed MA_CrackNet has excellent performance in the crack detection task of nuclear containment, achieving a precision, recall, F1, and mean intersection-over-union (mIoU) of 86.07%, 89.96%, 87.97%, and 89.19%, respectively, outperforming other advanced semantic segmentation models. The volleyball movement standardization and recognition model involve the application of artificial intelligence and deep learning. In order to solve the problem that human action in volleyball video is continuous and effective spatial and temporal features need to be extracted from the video stream, the Inception module is decoupled and heterogeneous, replacing the original 5 × 5 convolutional structures with two 3 × 3 convolutional structures, as well as replacing the 3 × 3 convolutional structures with 1 × 3 and a 3 × 1 convolutional structure with internal parameter optimization to ensure the accuracy of recognition. The model uses the input motion video RGB map as the spatial input and the optical flow map as the temporal input, and the two are weighted 1 : 1 for feature fusion. Experiments are conducted on the volleyball action video and homemade dataset in UCF101, and the experimental data show that the accuracy of the DNet volleyball action standardization recognition model proposed in this paper is 94.12%, which proves that the method improves the recognition ability of the model while speeding up the training speed. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions have made great contributions to the treatment of diseases and health preservation. To alleviate the shortage of TCM resources and improve the professionalism of automatically generated prescriptions, this paper deeply explores the connection between symptoms and herbs through deep learning technology, and realizes the automatic generation of TCM prescriptions. Particularly, this paper considers the significance of referring to similar underlying prescriptions as herbal candidates in the TCM prescribing process. Moreover, this paper incorporates the idea of referring to the potential guidance information of corresponding prescriptions when model extracts symptoms representations. To provide a reference for inexperienced young TCM doctors when they prescribe, this paper proposes a dual-branch guidance strategy combined with candidate attention model (DGSCAM) to automatically generate TCM prescriptions based on symptoms text. The format of the data used this paper is the "symptoms-prescription" data pair. The specific method is as follows. First, DGSCAM realizes the extraction of key information of prescription-guided symptoms through a dual-branch network. Then, herbal candidates in the form of prescriptions that can treat symptoms are proposed in view of the compatibility knowledge of TCM prescriptions. To our knowledge, this is the first attempt to use prescriptions as herbal candidates in the prescription generation process. We conduct extensive experiments on a mixed public and clinical dataset, achieving 37.39% precision, 25.04% recall, and 29.99% F1 score, with an average doctor score of 7.7 out of 10. The experimental results show that our proposed model is valid and can generate more specialized TCM prescriptions than the baseline models. Under the background of the gradual development and popularization of mobile Internet information technology, this paper realizes network public opinion monitoring and emotion analysis based on the deep learning method, aiming at the research needs of people's ideological changes and emotional trends. Aiming at the shortcomings of sentiment dictionaries or machine learning methods in sentiment analysis tasks, this paper builds a sentiment classification model based on deep learning methods. First, the current main text preprocessing methods are introduced, and then a sentiment classification model, BCBL, is proposed, combining BERT, CNN, and Bi LSTM. Compared with traditional models, BCBL can better complete text sentiment classification tasks on standard datasets. Next, in view of the problem that BCBL does not consider the distribution of vocabulary weights, an attention mechanism is introduced to improve BCBL, and then the BCBL-Att model is proposed. Traffic state estimation (TSE), which reconstructs the traffic variables (e.g., speed, flow) on road segments using partially observed data, plays an essential role in intelligent transportation systems. Generally, traffic estimation problems can be divided into two categories: model-driven approaches and data-driven approaches. The model-driven method is commonly used to solve TSE efficiently and calibrate the parameters of these models. The data-driven method requires a large amount of historical observed traffic data in order to improve performance accurately. In order to combine the advantages of model-driven and data-driven methods, this paper proposed a hybrid framework incorporating the traffic flow model into deep learning (TFMDL) modeling that contains both model-driven and data-driven components. This paper focuses on highway TSE with observed data from loop detectors. We build a hybrid cost function to adjust the weights of model-driven and data-driven proportions. We then evaluate the proposed framework using the open-access performance measurement system (PMS) dataset on a corridor of US I-405 in Los Angeles, California. In order to further improve the accuracy of electric bus energy consumption estimation and reduce the complexity of using data, the paper proposes a new method for estimating electric bus energy consumption based on a deep learning approach with a data-driven model. The method can estimate the single-trip energy consumption of an electric bus by employing CNN (convolutional neural network) to time series prediction, which takes into account easily accessible trip data of electric buses, including initial SOC (state of charge), average speed, average temperature. First, we need to convert the raw data into a trip dataset by preprocessing the collected real-world trip data of an electric bus. Then, the single trip of the bus from the original station to the terminal station is considered the basic unit for energy consumption estimation, and the trip data are processed in a quasi-time series. Following that, the trip data were modified so that the subsequent convolutional operations more closely matched the interactions between adjacent trips, and a time series prediction method based on CNN was used instead of the regression analysis methods used in traditional data-driven models. Finally, single-trip operation energy consumption estimation of electric buses is achieved with time series prediction based on CNN, and this method is compared and analysed with the LSTM (long-short term memory) time series prediction method and multivariate nonlinear regression prediction methods in traditional data-driven models. The results show that the energy consumption estimation model for electric buses developed in this paper has a higher prediction accuracy, which can improve by 3.68 percent over the traditional multivariate nonlinear regression prediction method and by 1.32 percent over the LSTM time series prediction method. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a summary of the diagnosis and treatment experience formed by the working people in the long-term struggle against diseases, so it is very important to protect the intangible cultural heritage of TCM. How to extract valuable knowledge accurately and conveniently from the massive medical records of TCM is one of the important issues in the current research on the development of TCM. Due to the large amount of data of TCM medical records, many feature attributes, and diverse patterns, the existing classification technology has high computational complexity, low mining efficiency, and poor universality. Therefore, this paper proposed to quantify the medical records of TCM and obtained the main symptoms according to the improved hierarchical clustering feature selection algorithm. This paper also proposed a support vector machine (SVM) classification method using improved particle swarm algorithm to classify TCM information, which not only improves the efficiency and accuracy of TCM information classification but also discovers the potential dialectical and symptom patterns in diagnosis and treatment, so that the intangible cultural heritage protection of TCM can be developed sustainably. This paper showed that the information acquisition accuracy of the improved algorithm was very high. The purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of big data and small samples caused by the high manual annotation cost of a military corpus. The deep learning algorithm of entity extraction in the military field was organically combined with the method of bootstrapping loop iteration to complete a study on the application of intelligent corpus annotation of military field entities. With the experimental research showing that using a small number of military field entity corpus annotations for RoBERTa pretraining word vectors and BiLSTM-CRF models and based on the bootstrapping algorithm idea to complete 3 rounds of loop iterations and 10 rounds of cross-validation joint-voting model iterations, the best entity extraction model evaluation F value reached up to 91.5%. Finally, the 60M intelligent corpus annotation application testing was completed using the best model of iteration of this round, with a total of 178,177 sentences of military field corpus intelligently labeled, the number of entities that should be labeled reaching 417,734. Therefore, this is an efficient way of construction and evaluation of intelligent corpus annotation model in the military entity extraction field. The frequent traffic accidents lead to a large number of casualties and large related financial losses every year; this serious state is owed to several factors; among those, driving behavior is one of the most imperative subjects to discuss. Driving behaviors mainly include behavior characteristics such as car-following, lane change, and risky driving behavior such as distraction, fatigue, or aggressive driving, which are of great help to various tasks in traffic engineering. An accurate and reliable method of driving behavior recognition is of great significance and guidance for vehicle driving safety. In this paper, the vehicle multisensor information, vehicle CAN bus data acquisition system, and typical feature extraction methods are summarized at first. And then, several driving behavior recognition models based on machine learning and deep learning are reviewed. Through a detailed analysis of the features of random forests, support vector machines, convolutional neural networks, and recurrent neural networks used to build driving behavior recognition models, the following findings are obtained: the driving behavior model constructed by traditional machine learning model is relatively mature but it is greatly affected by feature extraction, data scale, and model structure, which affects the accuracy of the final driving behavior recognition. Background and Objective. Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor that seriously threatens the health of women in my country and even around the world. The proliferation marker Ki-67 has been utilized to distinguish luminal B from luminal A tumors and is a reliable indicator of more aggressive breast cancer growth. If a reliable prediction method for breast cancer patients to avoid invasive damage can be found to predict Ki-67 before pathological examination, it will be very beneficial for doctors to formulate later treatment plans and provide more useful treatment options. Methodology. This paper proposes a tumor segmentation and prediction framework based on the combination of improved attention U-Net and SVM. The framework first improves on attention U-Net by introducing coefficients for learning multidimensional attention. Make the attention mechanism more aware of the main situation in the segmentation process. At the same time, the segmented breast MRI results and corresponding labels were input into the SVM classifier to accurately predict the expression of Ki-67. Results. This paper analyzes the quantitative assessment model of the swimming training effect based on the deep neural network by constructing a deep neural network model and designing a quantitative assessment model of the swimming training effect. This paper addresses the problem of not considering the influence of the uncertainties existing in the virtual environment when evaluating swimming training and adds the power of the delays in the actual training operation environment, which is used to improve the objectivity and usability of swimming training evaluation results. To better measure the degree of influence of uncertainties, a training evaluation software module is developed to validate the usability of the simulated training evaluation method using simulated case data and compare it with the data after training evaluation using the unimproved evaluation method to verify the correctness and objectivity of the evaluation method in this paper. In the experiments, the feature extractor is a deep neural network, and the classifier is a gradient-boosting decision tree with integrated learning advantages. In the experimental comparison, we can achieve more than 60% accuracy and no more than a 1.00% decrease in recognition rate on DBPNN + GBDT, 78.5% parameter reduction, and 54.5% floating-point reduction on DPBNN. We can effectively reduce 32.1% of video memory occupation. It can be concluded from the experiments that deep neural network models are more effective and easier to obtain relatively accurate experimental results than shallow learning when facing high-dimensional sparse features. At the same time, deep neural networks can also improve the prediction results of external learning models. In the discipline of natural language processing, text emotion analysis is a crucial topic. Artificial neural network research is where the idea of "deep learning" (DL) first emerged. In view of the problems that semantic information is easy to be lost and emotional information may be ignored in the traditional Chinese short text emotion analysis model, this paper introduces the AM (attention mechanism) and proposes a CNN-LSTM (convolutional neural network-long short-term memory) poetic aesthetic implication analysis method based on self-attention. For the IL (input layer), word vectors trained by Word2Vec are used and then input into the CNN-LSTM joint model. Then, the output of the joint model is weighted and summed by self-attention and finally input into the Softmax classifier, so as to realize the emotion classification of the text. By creating and putting into practise pertinent comparative experiments, the usefulness of the proposed model is confirmed. The outcomes demonstrate that this model outperforms the other three comparison models for the quantification of evaluation indices in terms of overall performance. Classification of isolated digits is the basic challenge for many speech classification systems. While a lot of work has been carried out on spoken languages, only limited research work on spoken English digit data has been reported in the literature. The paper proposes an intelligent-based system based on deep feedforward neural network (DFNN) with hyperparameter optimization techniques, an ensemble method; random forest (RF), and a regression method; gradient boosting (GB) for the classification of spoken digit data. The paper investigates different machine learning (ML) algorithms to determine the best method for the classification of spoken English digit data. The DFNN classifier outperformed the RF and GB classifiers on the public benchmark spoken English digit data and achieved 99.65% validation accuracy. In this paper, we proposed an assessment system of forest environmental carrying capacity from many aspects and comprehensively evaluated and predicted the forest environmental carrying capacity of 40 cities in the Yangtze River Delta of China by using the proposed deep learning-based model. In addition, the proposed model is used to dynamically evaluate the comprehensive scores of forest environmental carrying capacity of 34 provinces and cities in China between 2015 and 2020. In this paper, the existing scenic spot recommendation algorithms ignore the implicit trust and trust transmission of users when dealing with user relationships, and the lack of historical browsing behavior data of users in new city scenes leads to an inaccurate recommendation. In this paper, a personalized scenic spot recommendation method combining user trust relationship and tag preference is proposed. Firstly, the trust degree is introduced when the recommendation quality is poor only considering the similarity of users. Accuracy of deep learning model translation is a key index to evaluate the application performance of engineering English translation. In this paper, an automatic error detection system for English translation is proposed. In the particular task of grammar detection, researchers have gradually shifted their attention from statistical methods to neural network methods. Three deep learning algorithm models are established, and the multitask performance of the model is better than that of the conditional random field model and the LSTM-CRF model. The reason is that the multitask learning model of auxiliary tasks is included to some extent, which solves the problem of data sparsity and enables the model to be fully trained even under the condition of uneven label distribution. Thus, it performs better than other models in the task of syntax error detection. It realizes the word spelling error check based on the dictionary and uses the thought of editing distance to prompt the word error found, which can automatically check a large number of translations. Ideological and political education in colleges and universities is routinely burdened with the job of building morality and cultivating people, which is related to the cultivation of college students' ideals and beliefs, spiritual pursuits, and political literacy. Based on self-determination theory (SDT), this paper modeled different learning motivations in the early stage of ideological and political courses and analyzed the learning motivation of different student groups combining the Gaussian mixture model (GMM) and stacked autoencoder (SAE). Meanwhile, the study in this paper compared the participation characteristics of different learning motivation clusters, the differences between the ideological and political course performances of students with different learning motivations, and the potential link between learning motivation and learners' educational level. The experimental results show that students with extrinsic motivation will have better performance in the courses. The strength of extrinsic motivation is positively correlated with students' academic performance, and 70% of students with intrinsic motivation achieve excellent results. As one of the most classic instruments, the violin has been fully developed in its creation, education, and performance. In the face of more and more violin performances, the effective organization and retrieval of these musical works is an urgent problem to be solved, while it is common to classify and organize music based on the emotional properties of the performance. Deep learning is a model based on feature hierarchy and unsupervised feature learning, which has strong learning ability and adaptability. Based on the recurrent neural network (RNN) method, long short-term memory (LSTM) is one of the classic models of deep learning that can effectively learn the characteristics of time series data and achieve effective predictions. Therefore, based on the classical Hevner emotion classification model, this paper proposes an emotion recognition method for dynamic violin performances based on LSTM, which selects acoustic features and classifies the audio acoustic signals contained in the violin performances. In order to verify the effectiveness of this method, this paper carries out data labeled, feature selection, and model test on the actual violin music data by turn. The results show that the proposed method can greatly reduce the training time and improve the prediction accuracy, which reached 83%, higher than the existing methods. Food has an impact on everyone's daily life, the long-term stability of the nation, human survival and development, people's lives and health, and the steady advancement of society. A food safety criminal judgment is a legal document used to record the trial of food-related offences. It primarily contains the case's history, information about the parties involved, and the verdict. In order to identify defendants, their charges in court documents, and other important court information, this paper proposes a method for extracting key information from food safety criminal conviction documents based on deep learning. It builds and analyses a hidden Markov model (HMM) based on the corpus of crime-related components, and uses the model trained by a DL neural network to determine the trend of a given data set. In the test result classification task, the results demonstrate that the Transformer model can achieve macro accuracy rates of roughly 0.963, macro recall rates of 0.932, and macro F1 scores of 0.958. Nowadays, vehicle line pressure detection is an important function of an intelligent transportation system. At present, the line pressure detection algorithms mainly include algorithms based on traditional features and models and algorithms based on deep learning. However, these algorithms also have shortcomings such as low detection accuracy or relying on specific scenarios. In this regard, this paper proposes a fast and accurate vehicle line detection algorithm based on deep learning for vehicle images. The algorithm builds a GooleNet-based FCN semantic segmentation network and adds a BN layer, 1 × 1 convolution, and FPN structure to improve the segmentation effect of the GooleNet-FCN network and reduce network parameters. The MobileNet-SSD (no pretrained model) network structure is used for vehicle detection. According to the relationship between the receptive field and the anchor, and then combined with specific data, the prediction branch of the network and the Default Box on the branch are modified and the FPN structure is added for feature fusion to form the final improved MobileNet-SSD network. The experimental results show that the algorithm takes an average time of 67.8 ms per frame, the detection rate of line pressing for a vehicle is 96.6%, and the deep learning models are 25.5 M and 19.2 M, respectively. With the development of deep learning theory and the decrease of the cost of acquiring massive data, the image semantic segmentation algorithm based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) is gradually replacing the conventional segmentation algorithm by its high accuracy segmentation performance. By increasing the amount of training data and stacking more convolutional layers to form Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNNs), a neural network model with higher segmentation accuracy can be obtained, but it faces the problems of serious memory consumption and long latency. For some special application scenarios, such as augmented reality and mobile interaction, real-time processing cannot be performed. To improve the speed of semantic segmentation while obtaining the most accurate segmentation results as possible, this paper proposes a semantic segmentation algorithm based on lightweight convolutional neural networks. Taking the computational complexity and segmentation accuracy into account, the algorithm starts from the perspective of extracting high-level semantic features and introduces a position-attention mechanism with richer contextual information to model the relationship between different pixels, avoiding the convolutional local perceptual field to be too small. To recover clearer target boundaries, a channel attention mechanism is introduced in the decoding part of the model to mine more useful feature channel information and effectively improve the fusion of low-level features with high-level features. By verifying the effectiveness of the above model on a publicly available dataset and comparing it with the more popular semantic segmentation methods, the model proposed in this paper has higher semantic segmentation accuracy and reflects certain advantages in objective evaluation. A huge network of collaborators has also been quietly formed, and how to mine valuable information from it has become a research hotspot, among which talent recommendation is one of the most important topics. Talent recommendation, when an enterprise introduces high-quality talents, provides valuable reference suggestions and selects candidates. When introducing talents, enterprises should not only consider the ability level of talents but also consider the cooperative relationship between them and enterprise personnel. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the network of partners to find out the rules. There are only author nodes in the isomorphic collaborator network, and the connection between nodes is the cooperative relationship. On this basis, this paper constructs a heterogeneous collaborator network; that is, there are multiple types of nodes and connections in the network. The main research problem of this paper is to find an indicator to measure the strength of association between scholars in the collaborator network and to recommend potential academic talents for enterprises. This paper discusses the structure of psychological well-being education programmes in higher education institutions based on an analysis of the connotation and characteristics of deep learning theory, as well as the background of today's talent training requirements, the psychological traits of contemporary students, and the practical requirements of the teaching reform of psychological well-being education courses in higher education institutions. A model for evaluating the psychological well-being of college students based on BPNN is presented in this paper, which also addresses the current severe shortage of full-time psychological counsellors. Additionally, the traditional BPNN is optimised by GA, and the resulting NN can better achieve the desired effect, demonstrating the viability of BPNN. It enables the psychological well-being of college students to be self-diagnosed online and significantly lessens the workload of psychological counselling institutions in higher education. According to the experimental findings, the optimised algorithm's accuracy can reach 92.47 percent, and it is considered to be reliable. This study not only offers a novel approach to nonlinear data processing, but also paves the way for variable screening in the presence of an ambiguous structure. Car-following models have been studied for a long time, and many traffic engineers and researchers have devoted attention to them. With the increase in machine learning, this paper proposes a fusion model based on the physics-informed deep learning framework. The purpose of this paper is to inherit the predecessors' ideas, transform them to fit a new framework, and improve the framework's accuracy. The IDM-D (intelligent driver model development) involves reenabling the effect of the following vehicle to form a complementary model (not car-following model) with the IDM (intelligent driver model). The pretreated NGSIM data are used for calibration and validation. The IDM and the IDM-D are combined with the LSTM under the framework of physics-informed deep learning, and the results are mixed in a ratio to form the final result. Using test data for simulation, the results reveal that the IDM-informed LSTM shows better performance than the LSTM and that the fusion model further improves the MSE (mean square error) of the IDM-informed LSTM. The fusion increases the accuracy during the deceleration process, which is better than just a single IDM-informed LSTM. The fusion model further explains drivers' deceleration behaviors.
