Inorganic binder used in casting process has the advantages of low odor, labor-friendly conditions, and relatively low cost, which is one of the main development directions for casting molding materials in the future. However, compared to organic binders (such as resin binders), inorganic binders exhibit lower bonding strength and are more sensitive to environmental humidity. This sensitivity poses challenges, particularly in the reclamation of used sand, thus limiting their broader application. In this paper, the research and application status of inorganic binders (mainly silicate inorganic binders) and their curing methods are summarized. In addition, the research and application of phosphate inorganic binders and 3D printing inorganic binders that are being developed are introduced. Meanwhile, a detailed comparative analysis is conducted on the challenging issue of "reclamation for used sand" in the application of inorganic binders. To date, the therapeutic methods for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke are still limited. The lack of oxygen supply is critical for brain injury following stroke. Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO), an approach through a process in which patients breathe in 100% pure oxygen at over 101 kPa, has been shown to facilitate oxygen delivery and increase oxygen supply. Hence, HBO possesses the potentials to produce beneficial effects on stroke. Actually, accumulated basic and clinical evidences have demonstrated that HBO therapy and preconditioning could induce neuroprotective functions via different mechanisms. Nevertheless, the lack of clinical translational study limits the application of HBO. More translational studies and clinical trials are needed in the future to develop effective HBO protocols. The article presents the results of a study that examined the effectiveness of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells transplantation in the spinal cord in promoting regeneration of axon and functional recovery after spinal cord injury using rat models. According to the authors, recovery of hindlimb locomotor function was improved after the transplantation and accompanied by increased length of neurofilament-positive fibers. They add that transplanted stem cells were able to survive and produce large amounts of neurotrophin-3 in the spinal cord.

The authors report a 21-year-old male with an atypical cystic meningioma in the right parietal area. On T1-weighted imaging (T1WI), the solid component was hypointense, while on T2-weighted imaging (T2WI), it was hyperintense. On T1WI, the cystic component was hypointense, and on T2WI, it was hyperintense. A new fluorescent molecule clip derived from diethoxycarbonyl glycoluril with two 2,5-diphenyl-furan sidewalls was designed and synthesized. Its structure and conformation was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The molecule of the title compound, C30H28N6O6, a glycoluril derivative, lies on a twofold rotation axis with two ethyl acetate groups bonded to the convex face of the glycoluril system. The dihedral angle between the imidazolone rings is 73.12 (3)°. Two symmetry-equivalent six-membered triazine rings are fused to the glycouril unit to form rigid side walls of a molecular clip.
