In this study, a new multifunctional double-ions macro-porous agarose hydrogel dressing is proposed, which successfully loaded Ag+ and Li+ simultaneously through the interaction of hydrogen bonds on carboxymethyl agarose (CMA) molecular chains and the interaction of carboxymethyl with metal ions. The macro-porous double-ions hydrogel dressing shows excellent biocompatibility, water-absorbing and water retention capabilities, as well as pH and temperature response characteristics. Moreover, Ag+ ions can be released in the early stage of treatment and Li+ ions can be released steadily and controlled for a long time throughout the treatment, which contributed to effectively antibacterial, and promote tissue regeneration, accelerate wound healing. Significantly, this work provides a general strategy for prepared multifunction double-ions hydrogel dressing with interconnected pores, not limited only to Ag+ and Li+ double-ions, but also Ag+ and Cu2+ double-ions, and Li+ and Cu2+ double-ions, and so on. Thus, the multifunction double-ions hydrogel exhibits a great potential in becoming an effective, efficient and economical wound management dressing. Moreover, this work presents a promising strategy in providing the agarose hydrogel wound dressing to achieve personalized customization ideas.

Abstract The multispectral compatible infrared camouflage technology is implemented these days to counter the developing infrared detectors and detectors of other bands. However, the conflict between delicate optical structures and scalable procedures has significantly impeded the development and application of multispectral‐compatible camouflage technology. Therefore, a semi‐open Fabry‐Perot structure is introduced, and the color and infrared emissivity by structural parameters for color‐matched visible‐infrared compatible camouflage are modulated. The prepared compatible camouflage film exhibits visible camouflage by the minimum color difference of 1.6 L*a*b* (under desert background) and infrared camouflage by low emission (ε3–5 µm ≈ 0.17 and ε8–14 µm ≈ 0.143). Due to its flexibility and scalability, the compatible camouflage film can be applied in practical applications and exhibits desirable visible and infrared camouflage performance in different battlefield backgrounds.

Recently, pyroelectric materials have gained significant interest for energy harvesting, sensing and detection, and so on. For photodetection, pyroelectric photodetectors show great advantages due to high-performance photo-sensing without an external bias voltage. In this review, the pyroelectric coefficients and three types of important figure of merits are introduced. Moreover, the work mechanisms of pyroelectric photodetectors, including light-induced pyroelectric effect, pyroelectric-photoelectric coupled effect, photovoltaic-pyroelectric coupled effect, pyro-phototronic effect, ferro-pyro-phototronic effect, pyro-phototronic and piezo-phototronic coupling effects, and photo-pyroelectric-thermoelectric effect, are systematically summarized. Finally, the survey of the pyroelectric applications for photoresponse is presented, which divided the pyroelectric photoresponse into four major categories consisting ultraviolet detecting, visible detecting, infrared detection, and broadband detection. This review provides a detailed analysis and summarization of the work mechanisms of pyroelectric photodetectors and the photoresponse applications, which will provide significant guidance and inspiration toward designing the improved pyroelectric photodetectors.

The intensity interferometry is applied as a chronometer of the particle emission of hydrogen isotopes from the intermediate velocity source formed in 40Ar+197Au reactions at 30 MeV/u. The dynamic emission order of τp>τd>τt is evidenced via the correlation functions of nonidentical particle pairs. Assuming the similar source size, the same emission order is inferred from the correlation functions of identical particle pairs, where τp≈100fm/c is extracted by the fit of Koonin-Pratt equation to p-p correlation function. Transport model simulations demonstrate that the dynamic emission order of light charged particles depends on the stiffness of the nuclear symmetry energy.

As a novel family of 2D materials, MXenes are supposed to play a vital role in optoelectronic devices and systems due to their high conductivity, good optical properties, and favorable compatibility with water and organic solvents. However, the application of MXenes in highly sensitive photodetection is far scarcely investigated. Here, we demonstrate high-quality Ti3C2Tx/GaAs Schottky junction by simply dripping Ti3C2Tx MXene solution on a pre-patterned GaAs substrate. Owing to the wide absorption of MXene and the good quality junction, the self-driven Ti3C2Tx/GaAs Schottky junction photodetector with an impressive performance is realized. The assembled photodetector exhibits a high sensitivity over a wide waveband with a good responsivity of ~1.46 A/W, a large specific detectivity of ~1.23 × 1013 Jones, and a high Ilight/Idark ratio of 5.6 × 105. Significantly, the photodetector is capable of sensing infrared light signal up to 980 nm which exceeds the absorption edge of GaAs (874 nm) due to the generation of hot electrons in Ti3C2Tx MXene film. Given the superior device performance along with a simple and facile fabrication method, the Ti3C2Tx/GaAs Schottky junction photodetector may find the great potential in high performance broadband, self-driven photodetection applications.

Collisions of very heavy nuclei 197Au+197Au at the energy range of 5–30 A MeV have been studied within the improved quantum molecular dynamics (ImQMD) model. A class of ternary events satisfying a nearly complete balance of mass numbers is selected and we find that the probability of ternary breakup depends on the incident energy and the impact parameter. It is also found that the largest probability of ternary breakup is located at the energy around 24 A MeV for the system 197Au+197Au. The experimental mass distributions and angular distributions for the system 197Au+197Au ternary breakup fragments can be reproduced well by the calculation with the ImQMD model at the energy of 15 A MeV. The modes and mechanisms of ternary and quaternary breakup are studied by time-dependent snapshots of ternary events. The direct prolate, direct oblate, and cascade ternary breakup modes, are manifested and their production probabilities are obtained. The characteristic features in ternary breakup events, three mass-comparable fragments, and the very fast, nearly collinear breakup, account for the two-preformed-neck shape of the composite system. The mean free path of nucleons in the reaction system is studied and the shorter mean free path is responsible for the ternary breakup with three mass comparable fragments, in which the two-body dissipation mechanism plays a dominant role.

Summary: Inspired by the geological processes, this study develops an innovative low-concentration-ratio H2 reduction method to reduce the stoichiometric Au-CuS nanoparticles to produce completely reduced stoichiometric Cu2S with “invisible” Au achieved for solid solution Au enhancement. A stable Au-Cu1.97S/Cu2S micro/nano-composite is then formed by spontaneous oxidation. From this composite, in combination with biomimetic technology, an omnidirectional photoabsorption and thermoregulated film (Au-Cu1.97S/Cu2S-C-T_FW) is designed and fabricated as a photothermal-assisted and temperature-autoregulated photodetector for broadband and low-angle-dependent photodetection that presents good performance with high responsivity (26.37 mA/W), detectivity (1.25×108 Jones), and good stability at low bias (0.5 V). Solid solution Au exhibits significantly enhanced photodetection (1,000 times). This study offers a new concept for improving the stability and photoelectric properties of copper chalcogenides. Moreover, it opens up a new avenue toward enhancing the performance of optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices using solid solution metal atoms and thermal-assisted, anti-overheating temperature autoregulation.

The energy dissipation processes in multinucleon transfer reactions of 136Xe+198Pt at incident energies Elab=5.59 and 7.98 MeV/nucleon are investigated by using the improved quantum molecular dynamics model. The total-kinetic-energy-mass (TKE-Mass) distributions, the total kinetic energy loss (TKEL) distributions, and the excitation energy distributions of the primary binary products under different contact time scales of the reaction partners are analyzed. It shows that the value of the energy dissipation has an increasing trend over contact time. The quasielastic, the deep-inelastic, and the quasifission events can be roughly distinguished by the contact time. By analysing the correlation between the isotopic cross sections and the contact time, we find that the neutron-rich nuclei are produced in the deep-inelastic collisions.

To explore the origin of magnetism, the effect of light Cu-doping on ferromagnetic and photoluminescence properties of ZnO nanocrystals was investigated. These Cu-doped ZnO nanocrystals were prepared using a facile solution method. The Cu2+ and Cu+ ions were incorporated into Zn sites, as revealed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). At the Cu concentration of 0.25 at.%, the saturated magnetization reached the maximum and then decreased with increasing Cu concentration. With increasing Cu concentration, the photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy indicated the distribution of VO+ and VO++ vacancies nearly unchanged. These results indicate that Cu ions can enhance the long-range ferromagnetic ordering at an ultralow concentration, but antiferromagnetic “Cu+-Vo-Cu2+” couples may also be generated, even at a very low Cu-doping concentration.
