Highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNAs) were fabricated by electrochemical anodization under varying durations and voltages. The effects of the anodizing parameters on geometrical properties were investigated. The results showed that as the anodizing time increased from 15 to 45 min, the length of the nanotubes increased, but there was no change in their diameter, hence the surface area increased while the open porosity did not change. When the effect of the anodizing voltage was examined, it was observed that both the length and diameter increased as the voltage increased from 15 to 45 V. Thus, a significant increase in open porosity and surface area was observed. The UV-Vis spectrophotometer was used to evaluate the effects of all geometrical characteristics on the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB). The results showed that the anodizing parameters were highly effective on the photocatalytic degradation of MB. With the decrease of the anodizing voltage, the photocatalytic activity increased because of the geometrical characteristics of TNAs. Accordingly, TNAs with the surface area of 25 m(2)/g and the open porosity of 35% obtained by anodizing for 45 min at 15 V showed the highest photocatalytic activity with a degradation efficiency of similar to 81% in 7 h.

CaAl12O19:Mn4+phosphor (CAO:Mn), which has advanced color rendering and high productivity for white light-emitting diodes (wLEDs), is an important candidate for red-emitting materials due to its large absorption band from the visible region to the deep-red region based on the d-d transitions of manganese ions. For this reason, it is widely used especially in wLEDs, and in recent years, many researchers have aimed to improve the optical properties of the aforementioned red phosphor material with the use of different dopants and additives. In this study, the observed enhancements in the photoluminescence based optical properties of sol-gel synthesized CAO:Mn phosphor were described in detail in the presence and absence of pristine zinc oxide nanowires grown on carbon fibers (ZnO NWs/CFs), Al-doped ZnO NWs/CFs (Al-ZnO NWs/CFs) and K-doped ZnO NWs/CFs (K-ZnO NWs/CFs) additives. The addition of pristine ZnO NWs/CFs and Al- and K-doped ZnO NWs/CFs to CAO:Mn phosphor in the ethyl cellulose (EC) matrix resulted in an increase in emission intensity of 74%, 81%, and 84%, respectively. Additionally, the features of the synthesized phosphor’s emission/excitation spectra and decay times were examined on both the nano- and microsecond time scales. The presented material can be shown as a new candidate for improving the properties of red phosphors related to brightness, stability, and degradation times.

This study presents a new environmentally friendly matrix material for temperature sensor applications. Sodium silicate solution and graphite were used as matrix and conductive materials, respectively. The chemical, morphological, and electrical properties of the raw materials and composites were investigated using X-ray diffractometer, Scanning Electron Microscope, Raman spectroscopy, Hall effect device, and digital multimeters. The effect of graphite content on the performance of sensors was investigated. All samples showed negative temperature coefficient (NTC) behaviour. The performance of sensors was investigated between 25 degrees C and 100 degrees C. The prepared sensors exhibited a linearity of 0.96, and a sensitivity of - 0.0479%/C-1. The sensors showed response and recovery time of 30 and 48 s, respectively. In addition, the sensors showed long-term stability, and repeatability with a very low percolation threshold (7.5 wt%). Finally, to demonstrate the functionality of sensors in practical applications, the paint-like composite solution was applied to a beaker surface and paper tape to monitor the performance of the sensor in real-time.

Objectives: This study investigates the relationship between 18fluoride-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) parameters and histopathological features in patients with early-stage invasive ductal breast carcinoma (IDBC). Methods: Patients with early-stage IDBC who underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT scan for staging were included in this retrospective study. The status of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2, Ki-67 proliferative index, and grades of tumors were recorded. The conventional metabolic parameters [maximum standard uptake value (SUVmax) and average standard uptake value] and volume-based parameters [metabolic tumor volume (MTV) and total lesion glycolysis] of the primary tumor were obtained from the 18F-FDG PET/CT images. The associations and correlations between the 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters and histopathological features were assessed. Results: One hundred forty-three patients were included. 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters, other than MTV, were significantly associated with the ER and PR status and Ki-67 index, while T-staging was significantly associated with all 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters. In the axillary lymph node (ALN) involvement, no significant difference was found in the 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters. In terms of the pathological stage, a significant difference was found in all 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters. 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters, other than MTV, were significantly higher in non-luminal breast tumors than luminal tumors and in high-grade tumors than low-grade ones. Triple-negative tumors had the highest 18F-FDG PET/CT parameter, but the difference was insignificant for MTV. The SUVmax had the strongest correlation with Ki-67 proliferative index. Conclusion: Tumors with aggressive histopathological features had higher 18F-FDG PET/CT parameter values. This study suggests that 18F-FDG PET/CT may provide prognostic information in patients with early-stage IDBC.

Ever increasing technological progress opens novel opportunities concerning educational activities, and the ability to use the technology effectively is one of the 21st century’s most demanding skills. The Partnership Forum for 21st-Century Skills (P21) states that no organization can achieve satisfying results without using technology and therefore the use of technology particularly in schools should be at the highest level. Some novel teaching methods have recently emerged based on technological developments, such as STEM education, which is based on the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In this study, the motion of a body connected to a pulley system is analyzed by using an Arduino microprocessor and also related mathematical equations. Arduino is a programming platform on which various electronic elements can be connected. There are various Arduino compatible sensors (sound, light, distance, temperature, etc.) that can be coded for their intended use. Due to its cost effectiveness, this technological instrument can be used as a measurement tool in many physics experiments. In this work, the time-varying data of the position of the moving object is determined using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensor (see Fig. 1). The HC-SR04 distance sensor can determine the distance of the obstacle from the sensor when the transmitted signal is reflected from an obstacle and returned to the sensor, and the Arduino IDE computer program is used to load the corresponding codes into the Arduino and to retrieve the incoming data.

This study investigates the relationship between primary school teachers’ fear of the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) and their subjective well-being. The research was carried out with the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The participants of the employee survey consist of 224 primary school teachers who were teaching in public primary schools in Istanbul in the 2020–2021 academic year and were determined by the convenience sampling method. In the study, the data were obtained with the COVID-19 and subjective well-being scales. Simple linear regression analysis and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. According to the research findings, it was determined that there are significant relationships between the fear of having COVID-19 and subjective well-being. In addition, it was found that fear of having COVID-19 was a significant predictor of subjective well-being.

Background: The aim of this study was to provide insight into the real-life clinical presentation and outcomes of the elderly presenting with acute myocardial infarction from the Turkish Myocardial Infarction registry database. Methods: TURKMI was a nationwide, multicenter, observational, 15-day snapshot registry conducted to address the management of acute myocardial infarction patients admitted to percutaneous intervention-capable hospitals. The present analysis included the comparison of consecutively enrolled acute myocardial infarction patients aged >= 75 and = 75 years. Elderly patients were more likely to have hypertension and renal failure and less likely to have hypercholesterolemia. Elderly patients were admitted to hospitals almost 1 hour later mainly due to a late call to emergency medical service. At discharge, medical therapies were significantly less prescribed to the elderly. The proportion of patients undergoing coronary angiography was significantly lower in elderly (81.8% vs. 96.4%, P < .001). Both in-hospital and 1-year mortality were significantly higher in elderly patients (9.1% vs. 2.7% and 22.7% vs. 5.8%, P < .001 respectively). The adjusted risk of 1-year mortality was 4-fold in elderly (hazard ratio and 95% CI 4.0 [2.9-5.6], P < .001). In multivariate analysis, every 5-beat/min increase in heart rate increased mortality by 7%. Higher heart rate and use of antiplatelet agents on admission were predictors of mortality in elderly. Conclusion: In real-life settings, elderly patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction are prone to prolonged total ischemic time and are subjected to less-intensive medical treatment and interventional approaches. Besides age, the increased heart rate could be the major determinant of mortality.

Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu’ya atanmaya ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma durum çalışması deseni ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın katılımcıları 2020-2021 öğretim yılında eğitim fakültesinde öğrenim gören 10 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Öğretmen adaylarının, iklim şartları, ulaşım, sosyo-kültürel farklılıklar, güvenli kalacak yer, okulun sahip olduğu imkânlar, eğitsel materyallere ulaşım, internet, yaşanabilecek dil sorunları, ebeveynlerin ilgisizliği, terör olayları gibi konularda da kaygı yaşadıkları belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar dikkate alındığında öğretmen adaylarının eğitim sürecinde doğu ve güneydoğuya atanma konusunda bilgilendirilmeleri önerilmektedir.

İlkokul 4. ve ortaokul 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin psikolojik sağlamlıkları ile duygusal ve psikolojik iyi oluşlukları arasındaki ilişkinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılan bu araştırmanın yöntemi ilişkisel taramadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt, Esenler, Avcılar, Güngören ve Zeytinburnu ilçelerinde bulunan devlet okullarında öğrenimine devam eden toplam 741 ilkokul 4. ve ortaokul 5. sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada verilerin elde edilmesinde “Çocuklar ve Gençler İçin Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği ve “Stirling Çocuklar için Duygusal ve Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde t testi, F testi (ANOVA) Basit Doğrusal Regresyon ve Korelasyon (Pearson Momentler Çarpımı-r) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğrencilerinin duygusal ve psikolojik iyi oluşlukları ile psikolojik sağlamlıkları arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişkinin olduğu ve duygusal ve psikolojik iyi oluşluğun psikolojik sağlamlığın anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca erkek öğrencilerin kız öğrencilere göre psikolojik sağlamlıklarının daha yüksek olduğu; arkadaşı olmanın ve aile yanında kalmanın ise duygusal ve psikolojik iyi oluşluğu olumlu etkilediği son olarak kardeş sayısının psikolojik iyi oluş ve psikolojik sağlamlık üzerinde etkili olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır., The method of this study, which was conducted to determine the relationship between the psychological resilience and emotional and psychological well-being of primary school 4th and middle school 5th grade students, is the relational screening. The sample of the study consists of 741 primary school 4th and middle school 5th grade students who continue their education in public schools in Istanbul Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt, Esenler, Avcılar, Güngören and Zeytinburnu districts in the 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the study was determined with the easily accessible sampling method. "Psychological Resilience Scale for Children and Youth and" Emotional and Psychological Well-being Scale for Stirling Children "were used to obtain data in the study. T test, F test (ANOVA) Simple Linear Regression and Correlation (Pearson's Product of Moments-r) were used to analyze the data obtained in the study. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between the emotional and psychological well-being of the students and their psychological resilience and that emotional and psychological well-being is a significant predictor of psychological resilience. In addition, it was found that the psychological resilience of male students was higher than female students; It was concluded that being a friend and staying with a family positively affected emotional and psychological well-being, and finally, the number of siblings did not affect psychological well-being and psychological resilience.

Aims The 2019 report from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Atlas provides a contemporary analysis of cardiovascular disease (CVD) statistics across 56 member countries, with particular emphasis on international inequalities in disease burden and healthcare delivery together with estimates of progress towards meeting 2025 World Health Organization (WHO) non-communicable disease targets. Methods and results In this report, contemporary CVD statistics are presented for member countries of the ESC. The statistics are drawn from the ESC Atlas which is a repository of CVD data from a variety of sources including the WHO, the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, and the World Bank. The Atlas also includes novel ESC sponsored data on human and capital infrastructure and cardiovascular healthcare delivery obtained by annual survey of the national societies of ESC member countries. Across ESC member countries, the prevalence of obesity (body mass index ≥30 kg/m2) and diabetes has increased two- to three-fold during the last 30 years making the WHO 2025 target to halt rises in these risk factors unlikely to be achieved. More encouraging have been variable declines in hypertension, smoking, and alcohol consumption but on current trends only the reduction in smoking from 28% to 21% during the last 20 years appears sufficient for the WHO target to be achieved. The median age-standardized prevalence of major risk factors was higher in middle-income compared with high-income ESC member countries for hypertension {23.8% [interquartile range (IQR) 22.5–23.1%] vs. 15.7% (IQR 14.5–21.1%)}, diabetes [7.7% (IQR 7.1–10.1%) vs. 5.6% (IQR 4.8–7.0%)], and among males smoking [43.8% (IQR 37.4–48.0%) vs. 26.0% (IQR 20.9–31.7%)] although among females smoking was less common in middle-income countries [8.7% (IQR 3.0–10.8) vs. 16.7% (IQR 13.9–19.7%)]. There were associated inequalities in disease burden with disability-adjusted life years per 100 000 people due to CVD over three times as high in middle-income [7160 (IQR 5655–8115)] compared with high-income [2235 (IQR 1896–3602)] countries. Cardiovascular disease mortality was also higher in middle-income countries where it accounted for a greater proportion of potential years of life lost compared with high-income countries in both females (43% vs. 28%) and males (39% vs. 28%). Despite the inequalities in disease burden across ESC member countries, survey data from the National Cardiac Societies of the ESC showed that middle-income member countries remain severely under-resourced compared with high-income countries in terms of cardiological person-power and technological infrastructure. Under-resourcing in middle-income countries is associated with a severe procedural deficit compared with high-income countries in terms of coronary intervention, device implantation and cardiac surgical procedures. Conclusion A seemingly inexorable rise in the prevalence of obesity and diabetes currently provides the greatest challenge to achieving further reductions in CVD burden across ESC member countries. Additional challenges are provided by inequalities in disease burden that now require intensification of policy initiatives in order to reduce population risk and prioritize cardiovascular healthcare delivery, particularly in the middle-income countries of the ESC where need is greatest.

Methods: A total of 184, elite sprinters and mid long distance athletes and sedantary participated in the study. Subjects were categorized into three groups as sprinters, mid-long distance athletes, and sedantary. After DNA isolations, the Single PCR technique was used for ACE genotyping and Real Time PCR was used for ACTN3 genotyping. Results: the R allele of the ACTN3 gene was found to be high for sprinters. the allele of ACE D gene was high for distance athletes. Conclusion: ACTN3 and ACE genes allele distributions of sprinters and distance athletes were determined in relation with speed for the R allele of ACTN3 and with endurance for the D allele of the ACE gene. Bu araştırmada İspanyol besteci Dionisio Aguado'nun klasik gitar eserlerindeki müzikal söz dizimi (sentaks) karakteristikleri ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Dionisio Aguado gitar tarihinde çoğunlukla gitar tekniğine dair çalışmaları ile hatırlandığı için onun üzerine yapılan araştırmalar da büyük çoğunlukla onun gitar tekniğine dair katkılarını ele almaktadır. Aguado, gitar için az sayıda ileri düzeyde eserler de yazmıştır. Bu eserler çokça seslendirilmesi ve gitar repertuvarının önde gelen eserleri arasında olmasına karşın müzikal açıdan yeterince incelenmemiştir.Araştırmada bestecinin müzikal karakteristiğini şekillendiren unsurları belirlemek amacıyla, bestecinin yaşadığı dönemin müzikal yaklaşımlarını ve klasik gitarın bu dönemdeki müzikal konumunu ve çalgının dönemsel gelişimini betimleyen kaynaklar taranmış, bu doğrultuda araştırma için seçilmiş ve döneminin müzikal yaklaşımlarını nitelikli biçimde kapsayan iki tanınmış eseri Op. 2. No. 2 La minör Rondo Brillant ile Op. 16 Le Fandango Varié doku redüksiyonu yöntemiyle ele alınarak bestecinin müzikal karakteristiğini ortaya koyan müzikal söz dizim unsurları (ritmik sentaks, armonik sentaks, polifonik sentaks, bu sentaksları oluşturan ritmik, armonik ve melodik materyaller) tespit edilip bunların kullanım şekli yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Dionisio Aguado'nun teknik virtüözitesinin yansıması olabilecek pasajlar tespit edilmiş ve yapılan doku redüksiyonu çalışması vasıtasıyla armonik özellikleri klasik döneme yakın olan bestecinin erken Romantik dönem unsurlarına da yer verdiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca besteci, döneminde yaygınlaşan müzikal yaklaşımlara uygun olarak, kendi ulusal kültürüne ait müzikal öğeleri döneminin tonal müzik anlayışı ile birleştirerek her iki müzikal unsurun dengeli biçimde yer aldığı eserler de üretmiştir. Since Dionisio Aguado is remembered mostly in guitar history with his studies on guitar technique, his researches mostly focus on his contributions to guitar technique. Aguado has also written a few advanced works for guitar. Although these works are widely performed and are among the leading works of guitar repertoire, they have not been examined musically enough.In this research, the musical characteristics of the composer's period and the musical position of the classical guitar and the periodical development of the instrument were searched in order to determine the elements that shape the composer's musical characteristics. In this direction, the composer's two well-known works selected for research and covering the musical approaches of the period in a qualified manner, Op. 2 No. 2 A minor Rondo Brillant and Op. 16 Le Fandango Varié was studied through textural reduction method and musical syntactic elements (rhythmic syntax, harmonic syntax, polyphonic syntax, rhythmic, harmonic and melodic materials forming the syntaxes) which reveal the musical characteristics of the composer were determined and interpreted.As a result of the research, passages that can be a reflection of Dionisio Aguado's technical virtuosity were determined and by means of textural reduction study, it was observed that the composer had harmonic features close to classical period and included elements of early Romantic period. In addition, the composer produced works in which both musical elements took place in a balanced way by combining the musical elements of his national culture with the tonal music elements of his period in accordance with the musical approaches that became widespread during his time. This work focuses on philosophical considerations of consciousness/mind, based on recent sparkling scientific progresses, especially on neuroscience and quantum physics and tries to contribute to resolve the hard problem. Our philosophical thesis assumes that consciousness/mind can be considered as a pure physical energy, appearing within the physical brain and can fully be resolved by physical laws, philosophically leading to a novel approach. More specifically, the approach assumes that consciousness is an open quantum information field and an epiphenomenon of the brain, dynamically and instantly exchanges information as modulated physical energies/waves with cortical neurons of the brain. According to our philosophical approach, the consciousness can be considered as a sub-nano scale functional concept of the brain, hence the philosophical consideration could be named as `NanoPhysicalism'.

The aim of thisstudy is to develop a conceptual understanding scale on Insufficiencies ofClassical Physics concerning Quantum Physics Courses. In the first stage, 36items were developed, depending on the target behaviours and the scale wastransformed into 33 items with the opinion of two expert academicians. The draftscale was then applied to 139 (40 male 99 female) pre-service teachers from thedepartments of Science Education and Physics Education at a state university.Following the item analysis efforts, final version of the scale with a totalnumber of 20 items, has been obtained. Madde ayırt edicilik analizi sonucunda Siyah Cisim Işıması,Fotoelektrik Olay ve Compton Saçılması konularını kapsayan toplam 20 maddedenoluşan sonuç test elde edilmiştir. Testin güvenirlik katsayısını belirlemekiçin yapılan analiz sonucunda testin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 0,78olarak bulunmuştur.

This work resolves the brain-based consciousness as an Open Quantum Information Field, created and influenced via the environmental sensory information and operating under the full control of quantum mechanics. The external sensory information, modelled as quantised electromagnetic waves, is assumed to feed the cortical neurons and eventually construct the brain-based consciousness Hamiltonian. Any external energy/information, instantly reaching to the Hamiltonian of brain-based consciousness, is taken into account as a perturbation. In order to obtain instantaneous wave functions and probability amplitudes well known time dependant perturbation theory is employed. Quantum field theory is finally used to resolve the overall brain-based consciousness and some important conclusions are underlined.

Bu çalışmanın amacıöğretmenlerin yansıtıcı düşünme eğilimleri ve yaratıcı düşünme düzeyleriarasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusundaçalışma nicel araştırma desenlerinden ilişkisel tarama araştırması ileyürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın katılımcıları 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılındaİstanbul’un Esenyurt ilçesinde görev yapan okul öncesi, sınıf ve branşöğretmenleri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri “Ne Kadar Yaratıcısınız?”Yaratıcılık Ölçeği ve Öğretmenlerin Yansıtıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği ileelde edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler T-Testi, İlişkisiz ÖrneklemlerTek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA), puan değerleri arasındaki ilişkileribelirlemek için Pearson Momentler Çarpımı ve veriler arasındaki yordama durumunuortaya koymak için Basit Doğrusal Regresyon analizi gibi istatiksel yöntemlerkullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları dikkate alındığınölçeğin alt boyutlarından sorgulayıcı ve etkili öğretim ve mesleğe bakışaçıları arasında cinsiyete göre anlamlı farklılık belirlenirken diğer altboyutlarda anlamlı farklılık bulunamamıştır. Ayrıca ölçeğin açık fikirlilik altboyutunda 0-5 yıl çalışan öğretmenler 6-10 ve 11-15 arasında görev yapanöğretmenlere göre daha açık fikirli oldukları ve branş öğretmenlerinin sınıföğretmenlerine göre daha araştırmacı oldukları belirlenmiştir. Yansıtıcıdüşünme alt boyutları ile yaratıcı düşünme puanları arasında pozitif yöndeanlamlı ilişkiler belirlenmiş ve yansıtıcı düşünme puanlarının toplam varyansı%19 düzeyinde açıkladığı belirlenmiştir.

Binaların temel tasarımında genellikle üst yapı için geliştirilmiş yazılımlar (Sta4-Cad, İde-Cad vb.) kullanılmaktadır. Bu programlarda zeminin elastik olduğu ve birbirinden bağımsız sonsuz sayıda yaylardan oluştuğu kabul edilmektedir. Programa zemin davranışı için sadece zemin emniyet gerilmesi ve yatak katsayısı girilmek suretiyle temel tasarımı yapılmaktadır. Oysaki zemin davranışı elasto-plastik olup basit bir yay davranışından çok daha karmaşıktır. Bu çalışmada, çok katlı bir binanın temel analiz ve tasarımı Sta4-Cad ve Plaxis 3D yazılımları kullanılarak deprem etkisi göz ardı edilerek yapılmıştır. Plaxis 3D, geoteknik mühendisliği problemlerinin analizi için geliştirilmiş sonlu elemanlar yöntemine dayalı bir yazılımdır. Her iki program ile yapılan analiz sonuçları karşılaştırılarak temel tasarımında üst yapıların analizi için geliştirilmiş programların ne derece güvenilir sonuçlar verdiği araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, tez kapsamında 2019 yılında yürürlüğe giren Türkiye Bina Deprem Yönetmeliği ile 2007 Deprem Yönetmeliği karşılaştırılarak temel mühendisliği açısından ne gibi farklılar getirildiği de irdelenmiştir. Computer programs (Sta4-Cad, İde-Cad, etc.) developed for the superstructure are generally used in the foundation design of buildings. It is assumed in these programs that soil is elastic and consists of an infinite number of independent springs. Foundation design is performed by just entering the allowable bearing capacity and the modulus of subgrade reaction in order to model the soil behaviour. However, the soil behaviour is elasto-plastic and much more complex than a simple spring behaviour. In this study, the foundation analysis and design of a multi-storey building were carried out by using Sta4-Cad and Plaxis 3D programs. Plaxis 3D is a finite element program developed for the analysis of geotechnical engineering problems. By comparing the results obtained from both programs, the reliability of the results of the programs used in the foundation design was investigated. Finally, in the study, the differences in terms of foundation engineering were examined by comparing the building earthquake regulations of Turkey which came into force in 2019 and the earthquake regulations of 2007.

Hz. Peygamber Yeni bir devletin konumunu belirginleştirmesinde, Kuzey Arabistan'da sınır belirlemiş olmasında ve civar yerleşim birimleriyle yaptığı anlaşmalarla, vermiş olduğu siyasi belgelerle Medine'nin askerî ve siyasi gücünü ortaya koyarken, bir dönüşüm oluşturmuştur. Yeni şekillenmeye başlayan İslam Devleti'nin sınır emniyeti, topraklarını genişletmesi ve işletilmeyen arazileri işletmeye açması, kurumsallaşmayı da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bölgede Doğu Roma ile oluşan ilişkiler, civar güç dengeleri açısından Medine'yi saygın bir konuma getirmiştir. Hz. Peygamber, tebaası olarak yaşamak isteyen Müslüman olmayan topluluklar için emanla güvence verip, zorlama ve baskı görmeden yaşayabilmelerini sağlayan bir nizam tesis etmiştir. Devletleşme sürecinde devlet reislerine elçilerle mektuplar gönderen Hz. Peygamber, Müslümanlıkla oluşan yeni bir geleneğin işleyiş tarzı ve sistematiğini kurmuştur. Çalışan genç devlet işleyişinde ikta ve eman yoluyla atıl arazi tahsisleri yapan Hz. Peygamber arazileri işletemeyenlerden geri almıştır. İslam hâkimiyeti altında yaşayan farklı kişi ve toplulukları verdiği siyasi belgeler çerçevesinde korumuş ve yaşatmış, dini özgürlüklerini garantiye almıştır. Bu çalışmayla temel kaynaklar ve araştırma eserlerden hareketle, Hz. Peygamber'in Risalet'inden vefatına kadar geçen zamanda, geleneksel Arap yarımadası uygulamalarından Hz. Peygamber'in vermiş olduğu eman, ikta ve gönderdiği davet mektuplaşmaları örneklerini toplayıp kabileden devlete geçişte verilen siyasi belgelerin sunulması amaçlanmaktadır., Hadhrat Prophet introduced a transformation by manifesting military and political power of Medina by the political guarantees by him and by the agreements which he reached with neighboring settlements, while he established the border in Northern Arabia and he determined a position for the new state. The border security of the being newly shaped Islamic state, the fact that it expanded its territory and that it let dead lands be revived brought about the institutionalization. The relations developed with Eastern Rome in the region raised Medina to a respectable position in terms of the neighboring balances of power. Hadhrat Prophet institutionalized a system which would allow the non-Muslim communities wanting to live as subjects to live without coercion and oppression, by giving assurance of aman them. Hadhrat Prophet, who sent ambassadors with the letters during the statehood, established the systematics and mechanism of the new tradition formed by Islam. Hadhrat Prophet, who allocated dead lands through the aman and ıqta in the new state, took back the allocated lands from the Muslims who couldn't use them. Within the framework of political guarantees he granted, he protected and kept in existence different people and communities living under the Islamic rule and secured their freedom of religion. In this work based on basic sources and research works, is it aimed at to present political guarantees granted in the transition from the tribe to statehood, by collecting the examples of the amans, ıqtas—both of which were from the traditional practices of the Arabian peninsula—which were, respectively, granted and confirmed by the Hadhrat Prophet from the prophethood to the death, and his letters of invitation to Islam.

Okuma ve yazma güçlükleri ilkokul döneminde öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını olumsuz yönde etkileyen en önemli sorunlardan biridir. Bu nedenle sınıf öğretmenlerinin okuma ve yazma güçlüklerinin tespiti ve giderilmesi ile ilgili eğitim alması ve öğrencilerin eğitimi sırasında karşılaştıkları zorluklarla nasıl mücadele edeceği konusunda desteklenmesi gerekir. Bu sorunlar öğretmenler tarafından yeterince önemsenmediği zaman öğrencilerin eğitim hayatını olumsuz yönde etkileyebilmektedir. Okuma ve yazmaya ilişkin sorunların öğretmenler tarafından nasıl algılandığı ve bu sorunların giderilmesine ilişkin öğretmenlerin ne yaptıklarının belirlenmesi öğrencilerin akademik ve sosyal hayatlarında daha başarılı olmalarını sağlayacaktır. Bu doğrultuda araştırmanın amacı sınıf öğretmenlerinin okuma-yazma güçlüklerini tespit etme ve giderme aşamasında yaptığı uygulamaların ve yaşadıkları sorunların derinlemesine incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yararlanarak veriler elde edilecektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim (fenomenoloji) kapsamında yürütülecektir. 2019–2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında devlet okullarında ilkokul öğretmenliği yapan toplam altı sınıf öğretmeni ile yürütülecek olan çalışmada amaçlı örnekleme türlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılacaktır. Araştırmanın ölçütleri ‘daha önce özgül öğrenme güçlüğüne sahip öğrenci okutmuş olma’, ‘en az beş yıl öğretmenlik yapma’, ‘sınıf öğretmeni olma’ olarak belirlenmiştir. Veriler görüşme ve gözlem yoluyla toplanacak ve içerik analizi tekniği ile çözümlenecektir. Veri toplama araçlarının geliştirilmesi aşamasında öncelikle kavramsal çerçeve dikkate alınarak taslak gözlem ve görüşme formları oluşturulmuştur. Daha sonra uzman görüşü alınarak formlar düzenlenmiştir. Ayrıca görüşme formunda soruların anlaşılırlığını kontrol etmek için iki sınıf öğretmeni ile pilot görüşme yapılmış ve tekrardan form üzerinde düzenleme yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler katılımcıların uygun gördüğü ortamlarda birebir gerçekleştirilecektir. Birebir görüşme yoluyla elde edilen veriler ses kayıt cihazı yardımıyla kayıt edilecektir. İkinci aşama olarak görüşme sırasında ve sonrasında araştırmacı görüşme yaptığı öğretmenlerin sınıfında gözlem yapacaktır. Araştırma sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin okuma ve yazma güçlüklerini tespit etmede zorluk yaşayıp yaşamadıkları, hangi konulara dikkat ettikleri, tespit aşamasından sonra öğrencinin sorunlarını gidermek için ne tür çalışmalar yaptıkları, öğrencilerin okuma veya yazma sorunlarının giderilip giderilmediği konularında bilgi elde edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Ayrıca sınıf öğretmenlerinin çalışmalar sırasında karşılaştığı sorunların neler olduğunun belirlenmesi ve bu konuda aileler, öğretmenler ve akademisyenlere önerilerde bulunması beklenmektedir.

Romanın Türkçe serüvenine Tanzimat ile başladığı kabul edilir. Servet-i Fünûn döneminde büyük bir gelişme gösteren Türk romanı, 1950’li-1960’lı yıllara gelindiğinde aksaklıklarını geride bırakmış ve artık yetkin örnekleri verilebilen bir türdü. Cumhuriyet dönemi edebiyatçıları arasında yer alan Fakir Baykurt da işte bu dönemin yazarıydı. Dönem vurgusu önemli. Zira o yıllar tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de politik saflaşmanın keskinleştiği yıllardı. Bu politik saflaşma ve keskinleşmenin izi Baykurt’un hemen tüm romanlarında görülebilir. Baykurt bir öğretmen. Köy enstitülü. Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü mezunu. Bu yönüyle genç cumhuriyetin tam da tasarladığı bir aydın aslında. Ancak Demokrat Parti tarafından görevden alınması ile bir sınıra çarpıyor. Devlet ya da iktidar denilebilir buna, çarptığı bu sınırı ya da yüzeyi romanlarında anlatıyor. Meslek hayatı bu yönde giriştiği örgütlenme çabası ile geçiyor. Devlet aygıtı ile girdiği bu ikili ilişki, belki bir bakıma açmaz kabul edilebilir, önemli romanlarında karşımıza çıkıyor. Bu çalışmada; Baykurt’un inşa ettiği gerçekçiliğe, romansal hakikate, adalete kişiler üzerinden bir bakış yöneltildi. Tırpan, Kaplumbağalar, Keklik, Yayla, Yılanların Öcü romanları bu çalışmanın kapsamına alındı. Sonuç olarak; arkasında taşıdığı tüm tarihsel, politik, sosyolojik yükle beraber önemli bir külliyat oluşturan Baykurt’un romancılığına farklı bir kapıdan giriş yapıldı. Tek tek roman kişileri üzerinden onun ne anlattığı anlaşılmaya çalışıldı.
