Under the impact of climate change, Taiwan, an island state, has faced the challenges of extreme weather events in recent years. Based on previous studies on climate change and vulnerability in Taipei, Taiwan, this study explores the correlations between place attachment and individual attributes of residents in different vulnerable areas in Taipei. First, this study investigates the integrated vulnerability (IV) of 12 districts of Taipei by overlaying natural vulnerability (NV) and social vulnerability (SV). This study selects four districts with high IV and low IV in Taipei, and with a large proportion of flooded areas, as the study sites. Second, a questionnaire survey (600 respondents) is conducted to examine the correlations between place attachment and the individual attributes of the respondents (age, residence duration, disaster experience, and education) in the four districts. Third, factor analyses are carried out to categorize place attachment into four factors: “security,” “familiarity,” “belongingness,” and “rootedness.” Finally, whether different factors have different relationships with place attachment are elucidated. The results show no consistent correlations between place attachment and individual attributes in areas with different vulnerabilities. Furthermore, by comparing the correlations before and after factor analyses of place attachment, among the four factors of place attachment (security, familiarity, belongingness, rootedness), there are no factors significantly relating to overall place attachment. This study further examines the mediator effect between risk experience and place attachment. The results show no mediator effects in the relationships of “perception → place attachment → coping behavior” and “attitude → place attachment → coping behavior.” Follow-up studies can elucidate factor analyses of place attachment and examine the effect of geographical scale (neighborhood, district, and city) on place attachment.

With the development of global economic integration, merges and acquisition has (M&A) increasingly become the main way to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Technological innovation plays an important role as an influential factor in the success of merges and acquisition. This research takes 120 merges and acquisition Enterprises of Chinese listed agricultural enterprises from 2009 to 2019 as the research sample, constructs the comprehensive performance evaluation model based on the factor analysis. And on the basis of the baseline regression model, R&D Input is introduced as an intermediate variable, PSM is used to control the endogenous problem. Through a series of robustness checks, we conclude that, different merges and acquisition types have various effects on the performance of listed agricultural enterprises. Horizontal M&A and vertical M&A have significantly positive effects on enterprise performance, while mixed M&A is negative. R&D Input plays a mediating role between merges and acquisition type and its impact on enterprise performance. Vertical M&A is clearer than horizontal M&A. At the same time, less R&D Input after mixed M&A gives rise to worse performance of agricultural enterprises.

Hasta merkezli iletişim, hasta merkezli bakımın temelinde yer alan önemli bir kavramdır. Hasta merkezli iletişim, hekimin hastaların ihtiyaçlarını anlamasını, hastalara yeterli bilgi vermeyi ve hastalar ile hekim arasında güven oluşturmayı amaçlayan önemli bir iletişim tarzıdır. Hasta merkezli iletişimin; hasta memnuniyeti, hastanın kalite algısı, hastanın tedaviye katılımı, hasta ve hekim arasında güvenin tesis edilmesi ve klinik sonuçlar üzerinde olumlu etkilerinin olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu çalışmada, hasta merkezli iletişim ve hizmet kalitesi algısı arasındaki ilişkide sağlık hizmet sunucusuna olan güvenin aracı rolü incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda 261 hastadan elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde hiyerarşik regresyon analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre hasta merkezli iletişim hekime güven ve hizmet kalitesini olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Ayrıca hasta merkezli iletişim ve hizmet kalitesi ilişkisinde hizmet sunucuya olan güvenin kısmi aracı rolünün olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Patient-centered communication is an important concept underlying patient-centered care. Patient-centered communication is a vital communication style that aims to enable the physician to understand the patients' needs, provide sufficient information to the patients, and build trust between the patients and the physician. It has been revealed that patient-centered communication positively affects patient satisfaction, patient perception of quality, patient participation in treatment, establishing trust between patient and physician, and clinical outcomes. This study examined the mediating role of trust examined between patient-centered communication and perception of service quality. Accordingly, 261 patients' data were analyzed. The hierarchical regression was used in the analysis of the data. According to the results obtained, patient-centered communication positively affects the trust and service quality of the provider. In addition, it has been determined that there is a partial mediating role of trust in the service provider between the relationship between patient-centered communication and service quality.

Psikolojik sermaye, mevcut kaynaklarla ulaşabilecek örgütsel hedeflere ilişkin veya kişinin kendi değerlerine, hedeflerine ilişkin gerçekçi bir değerlendirmeye sahip olan ve olumlu bir bakış açısını sürdüren ekip için ve bireysel olarak olumlu bir etkisi öngörülmektedir. Öz-yeterlilik, umut, iyimserlik ve dayanıklılık ile karakterize edilen kişilerin, liderlerinin iyimser olarak daha uyumlu bir ortam oluşturabilmektedir. Liderlik, örgütte ki izleyicilerini, takımlarını uygulamalarını nasıl ve ne yapması gerektiğine dair çevresindekileri etkileyerek onlara rol model olma ve onlara ilham vererek örgüt amaçlarını gerçekleştirmek için ortak ve bireysel hareket ederek bu süreci başarıyla yöneten kişidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, akademisyenlerin karılaştığı örgütsel intikam davranışını ve onların bu duruma karşı gösterdiği direnç durumunu ölçerek ast ve üst kısımlarda ki liderlik davranışını ölçmek bunun hangi durumlarda ortaya çıktığını belirlemektir. Bu çalışmanın evreni Trakya yarımadasında görev yapan akademisyenlerdir. Örneklem ise rasgele seçilen Trakya Üniversitesi, Kırklareli Üniversitesi ve Namık Kemal Üniversitesi akademik personelidir. Araştırma yapılan üniversitelerde elektronik ortamda toplam 411 kişiye anket uygulanmış olup, yetersiz ve yanlış cevaplamalardan dolayı anket formları sebebiyle toplam 394 anket analize dâhil edilmiş ve örneklemi oluşturmaktadır. Bu anket çalışması SPSS ve AMOS programları ile değerlendirilmiştir. Sosyo demografik değişkenlere göre incelenmiş ve aracı değişken etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, psikolojik sermayenin iyimserlik alt boyutunun örgütsel intikam üzerindeki etkisinde liderliğin “kısmi aracılık”rolüne sahip olduğu, psikolojik sermayenin umut alt boyutunun örgütsel intikam üzerindeki etkisinde liderliğin “tam aracılık”rolüne sahip olduğu ve psikolojik sermayenin öz yeterlilik alt boyutunun örgütsel intikam üzerindeki etkisinde liderliğin“tam aracılık” rolüne sahip olduğu, görülmüştür. Psychological capital is predicted to have a positive effect for the team and individual who have a realistic evaluation of the organizational goals that can be achieved with the available resources or the individual's own values and goals and maintain a positive perspective. People who are characterized by self-efficacy, hope, optimism, and resilience are able to create a more harmonious environment where their leaders are optimistic. Leadership is the person who successfully manages this process by acting jointly and individually in order to achieve the goals of the organization by influencing the followers in the organization, the teams, how and what he should do, being a role model for them and inspiring them. The aim of this study is to measure the organizational revenge behavior of academics and their resistance to this situation, to measure the leadership behavior of subordinates and superiors, to determine in which situations this occurs. The universe of this study is the academicians working in the Thrace peninsula. The sample is randomly selected academic staff of Trakya University, Kırklareli University and Namık Kemal University. A total of 411 questionnaires were applied to 411 people in the universities where the research was conducted, and a total of 394 questionnaires were included in the analysis due to insufficient and incorrect answers and constitute the sample. This survey study was evaluated with SPSS and AMOS programs. It was examined according to socio-demographic variables and the effects of mediating variables were examined. As a result of the research, it was found that leadership has a "partial mediation"role in the effect of the optimism sub-dimension of psychological capital on organizational revenge, that the leadership has a "full mediation" role in the effect of the hope sub-dimension of psychological capital on organizational revenge, and that the leadership has a "full mediation" role in the effect of the psychological capital's self-efficacy sub-dimension on organizational revenge. It has been seen that it has the role of “full mediator”.

As a primary symptom defining Internet gaming disorder (IGD), preoccupation indicates a mind state in which gamers think about a gaming activity so much that other things appear less important and/or interesting to them. Previous studies have examined the negative impacts of IGD on both cognitive and affective functions, yet no study has investigated the influence of IGD on daily mind state changes that interfere with ongoing tasks. The current study hypothesized that more IGD symptoms lead to a higher frequency of mind state shift in terms of mind-wandering. As social anxiety is related to both IGD and mind-wandering, we further hypothesized that social anxiety would partially contribute to the relationship. Survey data were collected from 632 young adults who were divided into two groups based on whether they reported playing games or not. In the player group, the number of IGD symptoms present was positively related to mind-wandering (r = 0.269, p < 0.001) and social anxiety (r = 0.235, p < 0.001), with the latter two showing a positive correlation in both players (r = 0.37, p < 0.001) and non-players (r = 0.57, p < 0.001). A mediation analysis for the players showed a partial mediation effect of social anxiety on the relationship between IGD and mind-wandering (mediation effect: PM = 0.292, p < 0.001), and the model was replicated in an independent sample. This study suggests that excessive gaming behavior may increase mind-wandering and a shift towards such a non-productive mind state could exert long-term detrimental effects in adolescents and young adults.

Lojistik performans, firmalarda değer oluşturmanın yanında kurum etkinliğinin artmasına da katkı sağlayarak müşteri memnuniyetinin artmasında ve entegre olarak firma başarısında kritik bir öneme sahip olmuştur. Sipariş zamanlarının azalması, daha güvenilir ve hızlı bir akış ile teslimatların gerçekleşmesinde optimum sayıda tedarikçi sayısı ile tedarik etkinliğinin sürdürülmesi gibi faaliyetler işletmelere önemli kazanımlar sağlamaktadır. Diğer taraftan etkin olmayan bir lojistiğin, firmaların ticari anlamdaki maliyetlerini yükseltmekte olduğu ve küresel bütünleşme potansiyelini düşürmekte olduğu gözlenmektedir. Üretim işletmelerinin bu noktada tedarik etkinliği ve sipariş işleme noktasında entegre bir yaklaşımı takip ederken, lojistik performansı göz ardı etmeyen bir süreç izlemesi önemsenmektedir. Bu çalışmada işletmelerin sipariş işleme fonksiyonunun lojistik performansa etkisinde tedarik etkinliği fonksiyonunun aracılık rolü YEM ile test edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda hazırlanan anket ölçeği Gaziantep OSB’lerinde faaliyet göstermekte olan 246 imalat işletmesinde uygulanmıştır. Tespit edilen bulgular neticesinde işletmelerdeki sipariş işlemenin lojistik performans üzerinde hem doğrudan etkisi hem de tedarik etkinliği aracılığı ile dolaylı etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir., Logistics performance has been of critical importance in increasing customer satisfaction by providing added value to the enterprises as well as increasing the efficiency of the enterprise and integrated business success. Reducing ordering times and faster and more reliable deliveries, such as maintaining optimum supplier and supplier efficiency, make significant gains for businesses. The other reason is that for an ineffective logistics, firms are increasing their commercial costs and reducing their global integration potential. Production companies follow an integrated approach to procurement efficiency and order processing at this point, while maintaining a process that does not disregard logistic performance. In this study, the intermediary role of the supply efficiency function in the effect of the order processing function of the enterprises on the logistic performance was tested with SEM. The questionnaire scale prepared in this direction was implemented in 246 manufacturing companies operating in Gaziantep OIZs. As a result of the findings, it has been determined that order processing in the enterprises has both direct impact and indirect effect on logistics performance.

Introduction: Previous studies have found that schizotypy can predict suicide, and that meaningfulness has influential effects on suicidality in the general population. However, it is still not clear whether meaningfulness is associated with suicidality in individuals with schizotypy. The aim of this study was to assess the mediating effects of meaningfulness in the relationship between schizotypy and suicidality. Method: We recruited 2,615 university students (including undergraduates and postgraduates; mean age = 18.35, SD = 0.81; males, 39%) to participate in our study, and used the Meaningful Life Measure (Chinese, revised) to assess their experiences of meaningfulness, the Suicidal Behaviors Questionnaire (Chinese version) to evaluate participants' suicidal thoughts and attempts, and the Schizotypal Personality Questionnaire to examine their personal schizotypal traits. Results: Meaningfulness was found to be inversely related to the other two factors, and schizotypy was positively associated with suicidality. The correlation between schizotypy and suicidality was reduced when meaningfulness was included, which may suggest that meaningfulness can partly mediate this relationship, accounting for 55.47% of the association. Conclusions: Prior research has suggested that assessing meaningfulness could provide more detailed information about suicide risk in individuals with schizotypy. Our study found that improving perceptions of meaningfulness can be an effective intervention in reducing suicide risk among people with schizotypy.

La présente étude vise à mieux comprendre comment les pratiques parentales se conjuguent au tempérament de l’enfant pour rendre compte des symptômes traumatiques susceptibles d’être manifestés par les enfants dont le signalement à la protection de la jeunesse a été jugé fondé pour maltraitance. Dans cette optique, nous nous sommes intéressés au lien corrélationnel existant entre ces variables d’intérêt et avons également exploré deux modèles pour vérifier dans quelle mesure les pratiques parentales peuvent agir comme médiateur ou modérateur dans la relation entre le tempérament et les symptômes traumatiques. Cette étude s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un plus vaste projet de recherche intitulé : Parcours d’enfants en contexte d’adversité : étude sur les facteurs d’influence des trajectoires d’adaptation à l’âge scolaire. Pour la présente étude, l’échantillon se compose de 20 duos parents-enfants habitant dans les régions de Montréal et de Québec. Le parent a été invité à compléter trois questionnaires (Children Behavior Questionnaire-Very Short Version, Parenting Scale et Trauma Symptom Checklist for Young Children) visant à mesurer leur perception sur les trois variables, alors que l’enfant a seulement complété le Trauma Symptom Checklist for Young Children. L’analyse des régressions linéaires a permis de détecter certaines relations significatives entre les sous-échelles composant le tempérament et les différentes dimensions évaluées par le questionnaire des symptômes traumatiques. Par ailleurs, les analyses de médiation et de modération effectuées afin d’explorer le rôle transactionnel ou interactionniste des pratiques parentales dans la relation entre le tempérament et les symptômes traumatiques n’ont pas permis de statuer le mécanisme par lequel les pratiques parentales peuvent intervenir dans la relation entre tempérament et manifestations de symptômes traumatiques chez les enfants signalés pour maltraitance. La petitesse de l’échantillon pourrait certainement être en cause dans les résultats non significatifs obtenus. Ces résultats sont discutés à la lumière des écrits scientifiques sur le sujet. Finalement, les limites et les apports pour les futures recherches sont également soulevés., The purpose of this study is to better understand how parenting practices combined with the child’s temperament can account for traumatic symptoms that may be manifested by children who have been found to be maltreated for youth protection. With this is mind, we investigated the correlational relationship between these variables of interest and also explored two models to test the extent to which parenting practices can mediate or moderate the relationship between temperament and traumatic symptoms. This study is part of a broader research project entitled : Parcours d’enfants en contexte d’adversité : étude sur les facteurs d’influence des trajectoires d’adaptation à l’âge scolaire. For this study, the sample consists of 20 parent-child pairs living in the Montreal and Quebec City areas. The parents were asked to complete three questionnaires (Children Behavior Questionnaire-Very Short Version, Parenting Scale and Trauma Symptom Checklist for Young Children) to measure their perception of the three variables, while the children only completed the Trauma Symptom Checklist for Young Children. The analysis of linear regressions made it possible to detect certain significant relationships between the sub-scales composing the temperament and the different dimensions evaluated by the questionnaire of traumatic symptoms. In addition, the analyses of mediation and moderation carried out in order to explore the transactional or interactional role of parenting practices in the relationship between temperament and traumatic symptoms have not allowed us to determine the mechanism by which parenting practices can intervene in the relationship between temperament and manifestations of traumatic symptoms in children reported for maltreatment. The small size of the sample could certainly be involved in the non-significant results obtained. These results are discussed in light of the scientific literature on the subject. Finally, the limitations and contributions for future research are also raised.

El presente trabajo persigue comprender las relaciones entre el capital intelectual (CI), la co-creación de valor y los resultados de las empresas. Si bien, las relaciones entre el CI y los resultados si hay trabajos empíricos que analizan dicha relación, pocos o casi ninguno, lo hacen teniendo en cuenta la influencia de los procesos de co-creación de valor entre empresas y sus socios. El estudio desarrolla un modelo de investigación quese ha testado en el sector de los centros de actividad física y deporte españoles, habiendo utilizado parael análisis de los datos la técnica de ecuaciones estructurales basadas en la varianza, Partial Least Square, PLS-SEM. Se haceuna importante contribución a nivel teórico ypráctico, ya que establece la relación entre variables hasta hora no estudiadasconjuntamente, y para los gestores deportivos aporta una vía práctica de mejora de sus resultados, y a partir de la cualse pueden establecer nuevas líneas de investigación futuras. ABSTRACT: This paper aims to understand the relationships between intellectual capital (IC), co-creationof value and the performance of firms. Although, there are previous empirical works that analyze the relationship between IC and the performance, there are not prior researchs about the influence of the co-creation of value process between the firms and their partners. This is the gap where our paper has focused. The study research about the relationships of the three constructs and propose a research model where it is hypothesized the mediator effect of the co-creation value process in the relationship ICand performance. We decide using the technique Partial Least Square, PLS-SEM. The present work is an important theoretical and practice contribution, because shows new relationships between these constructs and point out new ways for the sport managers toachieve bettter performance. These contributions allow open the new lines of future research. RESUMO O presente trabalho busca compreender as relações entre o capital intelectual (CI), a co-criação de valor e os resultados das empresas. Embora as relações entre o CI e os resultados, se existem trabalhos empíricos que analisam essa relação, poucos ou quase nenhum, eles o fazem levando em conta a influência dos processos de cocriação de valor entre empresas e seus parceiros. Nessa lacuna, é onde se localiza o presente trabalho, buscando trazer luz às relações entre as três variáveis indicadas e desenvolvendo um modelo de pesquisa no qual foi proposto como hipótese, a mediação da co-criação de valor no relação do CI e os resultados. Este modelo foi testado no setor de atividade física e centros esportivos espanhóis, tendo utilizado para a análise de dados a técnica de equações estruturais baseadas na variância, Partial LeastSquare, PLS-SEM. O presente trabalho é uma importante contribuição tanto teórica quanto prática, pois estabelece a relação entre as variáveis até o momento não estudadas em conjunto, e também para os gestores esportivos proporciona uma maneira prática de melhorar seus resultados, e a partir do que aqui podem ser estabelecidas novas linhas de pesquisas futuras.

The current study applied Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the rela-tionship among index of difficulty (ID) and parallax on eye gaze movement time (EMT), fixation duration (FD), time to first fixation (TFF), number of fixation (NF), and eye gaze accuracy (AC) simultaneously. EMT, FD, TFF, NF, and AC were measured in the projec-tion-based stereoscopic display by utilizing Tobii eye tracker system. Ten participants were recruited to perform multi-directional tapping task using within-subject design with three different levels of parallax and six different levels of ID. SEM proved that ID had significant direct effects on EMT, NF, and FD also a significant indirect effect on NF. However, ID was found not a strong predictor for AC. SEM also proved that parallax had significant direct effects on EMT, NF, FD, TFF, and AC. Apart from the direct effect, parallax also had significant indirect effects on NF and AC. Regarding the interrelation-ship among dependent variables, there were significant indirect effects of FD and TFF on AC. Our results concluded that higher AC was achieved by lowering parallax (at the screen), longer EMT, higher NF, longer FD, and longer TFF. Practitioner Summary: The SEM could provide valuable theoretical foundations of the interrelationship among eye movement parameters for VR researchers and human-virtual-reality interface developers especially for predicting eye gaze accuracy.

Logistics sector is recognized as one of most important element of an advanced economies. Many studies tried to understand the relationship among the logistic sector and the prosperity of a country. We start to understand what is the meaning in the academic literature of logistic so as to better understand the Logistic Performance Index (LPI), published by the World Bank in 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014. This research through the use of explanatory linear regression model was aimed to analyze the mediator role of Logistic Performance Index (LPI) on the relation between the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 2007 to 2014 in Europe (EU 28).

ResumenEl presente trabajo compara el efecto mediador y el supresor de una tercera variable. Ambos efectos parcelan la varianza de la variable dependiente (Y). La mediación es la reducción, tras introducir una tercera variable (Z) en el modelo, de la proporción de varianza explicada directamente por la variable independiente (X) en la variable criterio (Y) y la supresión es el incremento de la proporción de varianza explicada directamente por la independiente en la variable criterio, al incluir la tercera variable en el modelo. Se analizan las características y diferencias de cada efecto y se examina en qué situaciones se produce uno u otro. Cada situación, compuesta de tres variables correlacionadas entre sí, se explica con un ejemplo en el contexto de la intervención psicosocial. Finalmente, se proporcionan recomendaciones sobre la interpretación y utilización de ambos efectos.AbstractThis paper compares the mediator and suppressor effect of a third variable. Both effects split the variance of the dependent variable (Y). Mediation is the reduction, after introducing the third variable (Z) in the model, of the proportion of variance explained on variable Y directly by the independent variable (X), and suppression is the increase of the of the proportion of variance explained on variable Y directly by the independent variable after introducing the third variable in the model. Then, the characteristics and differences of each effect are analyzed and the situations in which either effect occurs are examined. Each situation, consisting of three intercorrelated variables, is explained with examples from the psychosocial intervention context. Finally, recommendations for the use and interpretation of both effects are provided.

The value attributed to reverse logistics performance in organisations is likely to affect market performance positively. Being one of the first attempts to question this proposition, we distinguished some internal and external factors that affect the reverse logistics performance and examined in the light of market performance of most of the largest firms in Turkey. General findings suggested that perceptions of the executives of the firm with regard to the internal applications and the external factors we selected were directly proportional to the performance of the reverse logistics applications of the firm. Our research highlighted the competitiveness achieved by the support of the top management of the firm for the reverse logistics applications. Results indicate that firm’s increasing profit margin affected the reverse logistics performance in a significant and positive manner. Another finding of our research was neither the internal factors nor the external factors, except for the reverse logistics performance, directly affect the organizational performance. As for practical implications, managers were recommended to identify which aspects of reverse logistics factors could be taken as core competencies by the descriptive information obtained

Bireyin olumsuz anlamlar katması örgütte negatif iklimin; olumlu anlamlar katması ise pozitif iklimin oluşumunu tetikler. İşgören, sürekli artan üretim, iş yükü ve performans baskısı ile karşı karşıyadır. Bireyin bu baskıyı psikolojik olarak yönetememesi stres düzeyini artıracaktır. Kişilik özelliklerindeki zayıflık sonucu işgören, meydana gelen olumsuz durumdan sorumlu tuttuğu kişiye veya örgüte karşı intikam niyeti duygusu ile yaklaşacaktır. Araştırmanın amacı tekstil ve hazır giyim üretim işletmelerinde çalışan işgörenlerde kişilik özelliklerinin örgütsel intikam niyetine etkisinde örgütsel iklimin aracı ve bağlamsal performansın düzenleyici rolünü ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç için, araştırmanın tüm değişkenleri ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Uygulama kısmında, 847 işgören ile yapılan anket çalışması SPSS ve AMOS programları ile değerlendirilmiştir. Öncelikle değişkenlerin faktör analizleri gerçekleştirilmiş ve güvenilirlikleri sınanmıştır. Demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik faktörlerin değişkenlerle farklılaşma durumu incelenmiştir. Son olarak hipotezlerin sınanması için aracı ve düzenleyici değişken etkileri irdelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda örgüt ikliminin, Deneyime açıklık ve Duygusal dengesizlik kişilik özellikleri ile Örgütsel intikam niyeti ilişkisinde tam aracılık etkisine sahip olduğu; Dışa dönüklük, Sorumluluk ve Uyumluluk kişilik özellikleri ile Örgütsel intikam niyeti ilişkisinde ise kısmi aracılık etkisine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, işgörenlerin göstermiş olduğu bağlamsal performans davranışının, dışa dönüklük, sorumluluk ve deneyime açıklık kişilik özellikleri ile örgütsel intikam niyeti arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyici etkisi olduğu; uyumluluk ve duygusal dengesizlik kişilik özellikleri ile örgütsel intikam niyeti arasındaki ilişkide ise herhangi bir etkisi olmadığı saptanmıştır. abstract The personality traits of the individual are shaped by factors such as environment condition and family structure has grown. With personality traits owned by individuals, they will bring meaning to his work life environment. Negative meanings of the individuals added to the negative climate in the organization; positive meanings that trigger the formation of a positive climate are added. Employees are faced with in ever-increasing production, workload and performance pressures in work life. Being unsuccessful to manage these pressures psychologically will increase the individual’s stress level. With the result of weakness in the personality traits, employee will approach with the intention of revenge against the person or organization that is regarded as responsible for negative situations. The purpose of the study is to determine the role of organizational climates mediator and contextual performances moderatör, in the effects of personal traits on organizational revenge ıntention in those employees working in textile manufacturing plant. For this purpose, literature review was made on all variables of research. In the Applications section, the survey which was conducted with 847 employees was analyzed with SPSS and AMOS programs. First, factor analyses of the variables were performed, and reliability were tested. The differentiation state of Demographic variables and the socio-economic factors were examined. Then, in order to test the hypothesis, mediator and moderator variables effects were examined. At the end of the research, it is understood that the organizational climate has the mediation effect in a relationship between the intention of organizational revenge and, personality traits of openness and neuroticism. Besides, it is understood that the organizational climate have the partial mediation effect in a relationship between the intention of organizational revenge and, personality traits of extraversion, conscientiousness, and agreeableness. In addition, it was determined that the contextual performance behavior of employees’, has the moderation effect in a relationship between the intention of organizational revenge and, personality traits of extraversion, conscientiousness, and openness. Besides it was determined that the contextual performance behavior of employees’, has no effect in a relationship between the intention of organizational revenge and, personality traits of agreeableness and neuroticism.

Araştırmanın amacı tekstil ve hazır giyim üretim işletmelerinde çalışan işgörenlerde kişilik özelliklerinin örgütsel intikam niyetine etkisinde örgütsel iklimin aracı ve bağlamsal performansın düzenleyici rolünü ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç için, araştırmanın tüm değişkenleri ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Uygulama kısmında, 847 işgören ile yapılan anket çalışması SPSS ve AMOS programları ile değerlendirilmiştir. Öncelikle değişkenlerin faktör analizleri gerçekleştirilmiş ve güvenilirlikleri sınanmıştır. Demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik faktörlerin değişkenlerle farklılaşma durumu incelenmiştir. Cette étude porte sur le rôle des attitudes et des comportements parentaux dans le processus de décrochage scolaire au travers de deux objectifs. Le premier consiste à vérifier le rôle médiateur des aspirations scolaires de l’adolescent sur le lien entre les aspirations scolaires parentales pour leur enfant et le décrochage scolaire. Le second objectif vise à valider le rôle protecteur du soutien scolaire parental vis-à-vis du décrochage lorsque les aspirations scolaires des parents pour leur adolescent sont peu élevées. Les résultats ont été obtenus à partir de données longitudinales recueillies auprès de 4630 élèves québécois de secondaire pendant cinq ans. Ils mettent en évidence par l’emploi de régressions logistiques que les aspirations scolaires de l’adolescent médiatisent partiellement le lien entre les aspirations scolaires des parents et le décrochage scolaire. Comme attendu, le nombre de décrocheurs s’avère moins important dans la situation où les parents aux aspirations scolaires peu élevées soutiennent scolairement leur enfant. En revanche, les résultats n’ont pas permis de démontrer statistiquement le rôle protecteur du soutien scolaire parental car, contre toute attente, le nombre de décrocheurs s’est avéré également plus important lorsque des parents aux aspirations scolaires élevées soutiennent scolairement leur enfant. Quelques hypothèses sont avancées pour expliquer ce résultat contre intuitif. Les conclusions de cette étude laissent penser qu’accompagner les parents et leur enfant sur le niveau de leurs aspirations scolaires, permettrait de réduire le risque de décrochage scolaire. Elles ouvrent également sur de nouvelles perspectives quant au rôle modérateur du style parental et des difficultés scolaires de l’adolescent sur l’influence du soutien scolaire parental dans le processus de décrochage scolaire., This study focuses on the role of parental attitudes and behaviours in the process of school dropout through addressing two objectives. The first objective consists in verifying the mediator role of educational aspirations of the adolescent on the relationship between parental educational aspirations for their child and school dropout. The second objective aims at validating the protective role of parental support against school dropout when parental educational aspirations for their adolescent are low. The results were derived from data gathered annually among 4630 Quebec high school students from 7th to 11th grade. The results demonstrate through the use of logistic regressions that educational aspirations of the adolescent mediate partially the relationship between the parental educational aspirations and school dropout. As observed, dropout were less frequent when the parents with low educational aspirations supported their child in its education. Nonetheless the results could not prove the protective role of parental educational support. Indeed, the number of dropouts appeared surprisingly also higher when parents expressed high educational aspirations and high support. Several explanations are proposed to explain those results. This study suggests that working with both parents and their child on their educational aspirations may help decrease the risk of school dropout. They also bring new perspectives on the moderating role of parenting style and academic difficulties of the adolescent on the influence of parental educational support in the school dropout process.

El presente trabajo compara el efecto mediador y el supresor de una tercera variable. Ambos efectos parcelan la varianza de la variable dependiente (Y). La mediación es la reducción, tras introducir una tercera variable (Z) en el modelo, de la proporción de varianza explicada directamente por la variable independiente (X) en la variable criterio (Y) y la supresión es el incremento de la proporción de varianza explicada directamente por la independiente en la variable criterio, al incluir la tercera variable en el modelo. Se analizan las características y diferencias de cada efecto y se examina en qué situaciones se produce uno u otro. Cada situación, compuesta de tres variables correlacionadas entre sí, se explica con un ejemplo en el contexto de la intervención psicosocial. Finalmente, se proporcionan recomendaciones sobre la interpretación y utilización de ambos efectos. This paper compares the mediator and suppressor effect of a third variable. Both effects split the variance of the dependent variable (Y). Mediation is the reduction, after introducing the third variable (Z) in the model, of the proportion of variance explained on variable Y directly by the independent variable (X), and suppression is the increase of the of the proportion of variance explained on variable Y directly by the independent variable after introducing the third variable in the model. Then, the characteristics and differences of each effect are analyzed and the situations in which either effect occurs are examined. Each situation, consisting of three intercorrelated variables, is explained with examples from the psychosocial intervention context. Finally, recommendations for the use and interpretation of both effects are provided.

Cet article présente les résultats d’une recherche sur la perception du soutien des amis chez les jeunes exposés à la violence conjugale et son effet médiateur dans la relation entre la violence conjugale et les troubles de comportement à l’adolescence. Les données ont été recueillies auprès de 490 jeunes âgés de 16 à 19 ans fréquentant une école secondaire. Les résultats des analyses indiquent que la fréquence de la violence conjugale prédit significativement les troubles de comportement chez les filles, mais seulement les troubles extériorisés chez les garçons. De plus, la violence conjugale entraîne des conséquences négatives sur le soutien perçu des amis chez les filles, mais non chez les garçons. Par ailleurs, chez les filles, la relation entre la violence conjugale et les troubles de comportement peut s’expliquer, du moins en partie, par l’appréciation du soutien des amis., This article presents the results of a study pertaining to the adolescent perception of the support he/she receives from his/her friends and its mediator effect in the relationship between domestic violence and behavior. The data were collected by questionnaire administered to 490 youths. The results show that domestic violence negatively impacts the girls’ behavior. However, for the boys, domestic violence only predicts the presence of the externalizing behavior. For the girls only, the relationship between domestic violence and behavior can be partially explained by the perception of support from friends.
