ObjectivesSacral neuromodulation is an effective, minimally invasive treatment for refractory lower urinary tract dysfunction. However, regular postoperative programming is crucial for the maintenance of the curative effects of electronic sacral stimulator devices. The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) limited the ability of practitioners to perform traditional face-to-face programming of these stimulators. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the application of remote programming technology for sacral neuromodulation during the COVID-19 pandemic in China.Materials and methodsWe retrospectively collected data including baseline and programming information of all patients with lower urinary tract dysfunction who underwent sacral neuromodulation remote programming in China after the outbreak of COVID-19 (i.e., December 2019). The patients also completed a self-designed telephone questionnaire on the subject.ResultsA total of 51 patients from 16 centers were included. They underwent 180 total remote programming visits, and 118, 2, 25, and 54 voltage, current, pulse width, and frequency adjustments, respectively, were performed. Additionally, remote switching on and off was performed 8 times; impedance test, 54 times; and stimulation contact replacement, 25 times. The demand for remote programming was the highest during the first 6 months of sacral neuromodulation (average, 2.39 times per person). In total, 36 out of the 51 patients completed the questionnaire survey. Of these, all indicated that they chose remote programming to minimize unnecessary travel because they had been affected by COVID-19. The questionnaire also showed that remote programming could reduce the number of patient visits to the hospital, save time, reduce financial costs, and would be easy for patients to master. All surveyed patients indicated that they were satisfied with remote programming and were willing to recommend it to other patients.ConclusionRemote programming for sacral neuromodulation is feasible, effective, safe, and highly recommended by patients with refractory lower urinary tract dysfunction. Remote programming technology has great development and application potential in the post-pandemic era.

With the rapid development of the Internet, each platform often uses metadata to organize and manage system data resources. The system within the platform is closed so that metadata resources are dispersed and stored repeatedly, which increases the difficulty of metadata sharing and reduces the utilization of metadata. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a public metadata configuration management platform, which provides unified configuration and management of public metadata, provides configuration and shared metadata services by using Web Service technology, and improves data sharing efficiency by using Redis memory database. At present, a configuration management platform based on meteorological public metadata has been used in the meteorological big data platform, which not only improves the utilization of the platform common metadata, saves storage, but also improves the response speed of the service. This article abstracts the main functions of the configuration management platform, making the system design applicable to other similar metadata-based data sharing platforms.

Objectives To explore the key genes, and correlated pathways in venous thromboembolism (VTE) via bioinformatic analysis, and expected our findings could contribute to the development of new biomarkers and therapeutic target for VTE. Methods Two VTE‐related microarray expression profiles (GSE48000 and GSE19151) were downloaded from the Gene Expression Ominibus (GEO) database. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were analyzed using limma package, and overlapping DEGs were identified form the above two expression profiles. Then, Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEEG) pathway enrichment analyses were performed by DAVID. Protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed by using STRING and visualized with Cytoscape. Furthermore, module analysis plus centrality analysis of the PPI network were executed to identify the potential key genes. Finally, the pathway analysis was performed using GenCLiP 3.0. Results A total of 173 DEGs (125 upregulated and 48 downregulated) were identified. GO analysis demonstrated that DEGs were mainly enriched in viral life cycle, ribosome and structural constituent of ribosome. Meanwhile, KEGG pathway analysis showed that these genes were enriched in ribosome, Parkinson's disease and cell cycle. Additionally, one most significant module and 12 hub genes were found. Finally, 6 key genes, namely ISG15, RPS15A, MRPL13, ICT1, MRPL15 and RPLP0, with high centrality features were identified. These key genes were mainly involved in translation, metabolism of proteins and ribosome pathway. Conclusions In summary, these 6 identified genes and correlated pathways should play an important role in VTE, which can provide new insight into the molecular mechanism, potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets associated with VTE.

In recent years, the knowledge graph has developed rapidly, but a single knowledge graph often fails to meet people's needs for actual use. Therefore, the multi-source knowledge embedding of knowledge graph has received extensive attention. Multi-source knowledge embedding was mainly divided into three steps: knowledge search, knowledge evaluation and knowledge fusion. The knowledge search was the basis of multi-source knowledge embedding. Knowledge evaluation was the guarantee of multi-source knowledge embedding. Knowledge fusion was the main means of multi-source knowledge embedding. Multi-source knowledge embedding can not only improve the performance of knowledge representation, but also improve the completeness of knowledge graph. At present, people mainly paid attention to the embedding of knowledge, ignoring the knowledge search and knowledge evaluation. This paper studied the whole process of knowledge embedding from the perspective of knowledge source, which was of great significance.

Acidic coal mining lakes (AMLs) are characterized by low pH, low biodiversity, and high concentrations of sulfate and metals. However, to date, knowledge is inadequate on the involvement of the aquatic microbial functions in biogeochemical processes of an AML. Here, we use a natural weakly alkaline lake (WAL) as a reference to investigate the functional gene structure of microbial communities in the aerobic surface waters of an AML by using a metagenomic approach with GeoChip-based functional gene arrays (GeoChip 5.0). We found significant differences in the compositions of the microbial functional genes between the two lake types. The AML had significantly lower gene diversity than the WAL, and the functional genes detected in the AML were almost a subset of those in the WAL. We also found significant differences in the microbial metabolic potentials between the two lake types. In the AML, the microbial communities had higher functional capacities in phosphorus-utilization, sulfur oxidation, and metal-detoxification and had lower metabolic potentials of carbon and nitrogen fixation, and the degradation of starch, hemicellulose, cellulose, chitin, and lignin than those in the WAL. By performing null model and network analyses, we observed stronger deterministic effects of the functional gene assemblages and greater clustering among the co-occurring functional genes in the AML than those in the WAL. Altogether, we demonstrated contrasting patterns of freshwater microbial metabolic potentials and functional gene interactions between an AML and a WAL, which may advance the understanding of microbial functional response to acidification in freshwater lakes.

天麻抗真菌蛋白Gastrodianin在体外可以抑制多种病原真菌的生长。为检验转 Gastrodianin 基因小麦对真菌病害的抗性，采用基因枪法将由 ubiquitin 启动子驱动的 Gastrodianin 基因导入小麦品种扬麦158和Alondra, 获得14株纯合的转基因株系。外源基因的PCR检测、染色体荧光原位杂交、半定量RT-PCR分析结果表明，外源 Gastrodianin 基因在转基因小麦T 5 代植株中已经纯合并有不同水平的表达；赤霉病和纹枯病抗性鉴定结果显示， Gastrodianin 基因的表达能抑制病原菌在转基因植株中生长，从而减轻病原菌引起的病症发展，且两种病害的减轻程度与 Gastrodianin 基因的表达水平正相关。

In order to document the effect of treatment delay on tuberculosis (TB) latent infection among the household contacts of TB patients, a cross-sectional TB infection prevalence survey was conducted among household contacts in Yunnan Province, southern China. In total, 1360 household contacts of 393 smear-positive pulmonary TB patients were enrolled, together with 308 household contacts of 90 non-TB patients. Using the contacts of non-TB patients as the baseline of TB infection, there was a dose-response relationship between household infection and delay of TB treatment (TB infection prevalence 9.7, 7.8, 19.9, 25.7 and 26.9% for non-TB case, TB case with delayor =30 d, 30-60 d, 60-90 d and90 d, respectively). Older age, TB index patient with lung cavitation, and sleeping in the same bedroom with a TB patient were all associated with an increased risk of being tuberculin-skin-test positive. In conclusion, 30 d delay in treatment seems to be the turning point at which a significant increase in risk for TB infection occurs. Apart from conventional indicators, magnitude of treatment delay should be considered as a performance indicator for TB control programmes in high-TB-burden countries. Measures for the detection of early cases should be intensified.

A class of codes with good capability of anti-multipath fading memory is constructed by using the concatenation method. The concatenated codes employ residue number system product codes (RNS-PC) as inner codes, and nonbinary Reed-Solomon codes as outer codes. Performances of the concatenated codes with the same outer Reed-Solomon codes and different length or the same length of RNS-PC codes are estimated and compared.
