The objective was to develop a mobile application for respiratory reeducation in Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The application arose from the need to implement part of the RP proposed in the project before the pandemic, but it became independent of the project, without application in humans and was developed as a final product. It is written in the Java programming language, it was developed through the Kodular platform, which is based on the source code of the App Inventor 2 platform and is compatible with the Android operating system. It has a dynamically created interface, with colorful screens and icons for visual stimulation; as well as audio capture so that the app system recognizes the breath noise towards the cell phone sound sensor, as well as warning message boxes and buttons that direct to guidance texts to introduce the user to the game in question. There is legal protection with the copyright of FisioAr I through the Computer Program Registration Certificate (Annex I), provided by the National Institute of Industrial Property and the Patent Office. The software is a tool created to facilitate and teach the user about ventilatory patterns increased in functional training, in daily life and in its treatment, in search of dynamism and metabolic benefits. El objetivo fue desarrollar una aplicación móvil para la reeducación respiratoria en Rehabilitación Pulmonar. La aplicación surgió por la necesidad de implementar parte de la RP propuesta en el proyecto antes de la pandemia, pero se independizó del proyecto, sin aplicación en humanos y se desarrolló como producto final. Está escrito en el lenguaje de programación Java, fue desarrollado a través de la plataforma Kodular, la cual se basa en el código fuente de la plataforma App Inventor 2 y es compatible con el sistema operativo Android. Posee una interfaz creada dinámicamente, con pantallas coloridas e íconos para estimulación visual; así como captura de audio para que el sistema de la app reconozca el ruido de la respiración hacia el sensor de sonido del celular, así como cuadros de mensajes de advertencia y botones que dirigen a textos de orientación para introducir al usuario al juego en cuestión. Existe protección legal con los derechos de autor del FisioAr I a través del Certificado de Registro de Programas de Computador (Anexo I), otorgado por el Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial y la Oficina de Patentes. El software es una herramienta creada para facilitar y enseñar al usuario sobre los patrones ventilatorios incrementados en el entrenamiento funcional, en la vida diaria y en su tratamiento, en busca de dinamismo y beneficios metabólicos. Four phenotypes of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) have been identified. Only one of these is anatomical. As such, anatomically based treatments for OSAHS may not fully resolve the condition. Equally, compliance and uptake of gold-standard treatments is inadequate. This has led to interest in novel therapies that provide the basis for personalized treatment protocols. This review examines each of the four phenotypes of OSAHS and explores how these could be targeted using breathing re-education from three dimensions of functional breathing: biochemical, biomechanical and resonant frequency. Breathing re-education and myofunctional therapy may be helpful for patients across all four phenotypes of OSAHS. More research is urgently needed to investigate the therapeutic benefits of restoring nasal breathing and functional breathing patterns across all three dimensions in order to provide a treatment approach that is tailored to the individual patient.

The fundamental purpose of this study is to prove the role and place kinetic treatment has within balneary cures with a view to improving bronchial asthma’s symptomatology. The research was conducted on a group of 7 people aged comprised between 25 and 31 years, five out of which were females and 2 males. The patients underwent a full balneary cure over a 12-day span with a daily frequency, which they then repeated twice a year, mainly with a 6 months’ break between one another. The kinetic intervention consisted of breathing re-education exercises associated with those in medical gymnastics, classical massage, as well as postures to facilitate breathing. In order to make an assessment as effectively as possible, the tests used were: candle task, air bubbles test, reading/ conversation test and the assessment of effort dyspnea. Thus, the results obtained in the final tests revealed a significant improvement in the symptomatology of the patients to take part in the study by the significant improvement of the parameters measured during the assessment. To conclude, kinesiotherapy is an instrumental means for partial or full recovery of morphological and functional deficiencies existent in the respiratory system’s diseases.
