Abstract

Research has been conducted on the oncoprotein MDM2 inhibiting the tumor suppressor protein p53. Results of the multidimensional NMR spectroscopy indicate that chalcones are MDM2's inhibitors binding to the p53 binding cleft substrate of human MDM2.
