The article discusses the study on the synthesis of monoisotopic 73GeH4 and 74GeH4 monogermanes with ≈99.9 percent isotope and chemical compounds' chemical elements of 10–5 mol %. The study involves monogermanes synthesis featuring their quantification of impurity composition and deep purification. Result shows that the content of impurities in the monogermanes does not surpass to 10–5 mol %.

The article focuses on a study carried out to produce and purify silanes, 29SiH4 and 30SiH4, of high isotopic and chemical purity. It states that higher chemical purity with a higher content of the main isotope are required to study the chemical properties of silanes. It describes how the silanes were analyzed by gas chromatography method and the isotopic composition of silanes was determined by laser mass spectrometry.
