Image is one the most common terms in literary criticism that rhetoric critics discussed it a long time ago and it has also been dealt with in a broader way in modern criticism. In fact, image is the crystallization of meanings and worthy thoughts of an ingenious literary person having been designed in a cohesive well-organized frame showing a visual appearance of the experience of his poems. As every literary idea and the way it is dealt with is declared differently by everyone’s subconscious; so there are different critical statements and approaches related to analysis of literary images and their functions.The image contains a lot of components, such as color, language, thought, affection and fiction, that in relation with each other, they reflect a generality of a literary text. Judge Naseh-ul Din Arjani is one the famous literary people that had acquired a high-ranking seat in the era of Saljughian and Abbasi regime, because of his mystical knowledge, as well as his literary knowledge. He is one the absolute pioneers of rhetoric and his poems were used as reference to some well-known rhetorical books such as “Mokhtaser-ul Ma’ani and “ Matuul “.In this research, expressive and imagery symbols like irony, simile, metonymy, and metaphor in Naseh-ul Dan’s book (Divan) have been artistically mentioned.Aiming to broaden the horizons about the rhetorical techniques in portrayal, this paper introduces Iranian poet, Naseh-ul Din Arjani, and confirms his role as one the rhetorical poets that his poems were cited as reference for other rhetorical books.The authors of the current paper used the analytical descriptive method to analyze the data in the paper [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
