小ねじ強度試験機を試作し,強度差を与えたM2十字穴付きなべ小ねじの強度試験を行った.得られた特性値を用いて,小ねじ強度及び検出力に影響する因子を調べた結果,次のことが判明した.(1)強度試験の結果からねじ面の潤滑は最大締付けトルク,軸力及びトルク係数に,座金の有無は締付けトルク及びトルク係数に,座面の潤滑は締付けトルク及びトルク係数に,雌ねじ材質は軸力,ねじトルク及びトルク係数にそれぞれ影響を与えるが,Crめっきの有無はほとんど影響しないことがわかった.(2)小ねじ強度の検出力から,小ねじの強度試験を行うための最適条件をSN比ηを用いて判断することができた.すなわち,最大締付けトルクにはねじ面のマシン油潤滑,Crめっき小ねじ,S45C雌ねじが高い検出力を示したが,最大軸力に対しては影響する因子が求められなかった.また,弾性限に対する締付けトルクに対してもマシン油潤滑及びCrめっき小ねじの使用が検出力が高く,軸力に対してはねじ面及び座面のマシン油潤滑とS 45 C雌ねじの効果が大きかった.(3)特性値の誤差を比較するため,変動係数の大小を表現するパラメータη'を用いて解析を行った.締付けトルク及び軸力は最大値及び弾性限値に対してともに変動係数で10%前後であるが,ねじトルク値は約2倍大きい変動係数を示した.(4)新しく開発した試験機を用いた時のねじ強度の測定誤差を検討してきたが,従来の試験法に比べて精度的にも十分妥当性があると考えられる.

In accordance with this study, the following conclusion has been obtained by introducing the SN technique into evaluation of the abrasive grinding of magnetic disk substrate and examining the reasonability to use characteristics value for determining an optimum machining condition. (1) It is found that evaluation of an optimum machining condition according to the minimizing characteristics, aiming characteristic and maximizing characteristic is controlled by the confidence limit and error to the confirmation test islconsiderably small where the evaluation is applicable as an evaluation characterisitc value.(2)The optimum machining condition determined by the evaluation characteristic value gives the result enabling to explain and examine well the phenomena caused by the conditional changes of respective control factors. (3) By means of the evaluation characterisitc value proposed, the scale of action effect of each factor is converted to a value, which can be judged quantitatively.

オンライン計測管理システムを機能させるための基本的条件として,計測システムの管理,計測間隔,予測方法の3項目を立て,プラスチック成形工程をモデルとした検討を行った.さらに,成形実験により得られた工程変動のデータを用いた工程の予測・制御方式のシミュレーション実験を行い,次の結果を得た.(1) 成形品の重量により成形工程の変動をとらえたところ,工程変動は,一方向のドリフトがなく緩やかなうねりだけの場合,初期ドリフトに続き緩やかなうねりのある場合,緩やかなドリフトが残る場合の3つの場合に分かれ,それぞれに制御条件の効果に違いを生じる.(2) 成形工程の制御において,オンライン計測のサンプリング数を増し測定値の信頼性を上げることにより,成形品のばらつきを減らすことができるが,サンプリング数に反比例して分散が小さくなるわけではない.(3) 工程平均の予測を行うことは,製品のぼらつきを減らすために有効である.(4) 割引係数法は,一方向にドリフトする工程には有効ではないが,うねりのある工程に対しては有効である.成形工程においては,オンライン計測する時点で製品が熱を持ち,まだ安定していないこと,成形条件によって寸法などいくつかの特性が関連しながら変化すること等の困難さがあり,このシステムを実際に適用するためには,オンライン計測方法の詳しい検討が必要である.製品の計測によるオンライン計測管理の考え方は,プラスチック成形以外の工程においても有効であると考えられ,そのためのシステムの設計には工程変動の検討,オンライン計測方法の検討が重要な役割を果たす.

This paper presents an application of new statistical parameter optimization method to designing plastic injection molding process. Optimum condition is derived by combining highest level of SN ratio of each parameter. The SN ratio represents the variance of products and the process control ability in trial production on many parameter's conditions layouted orthogonal array. This optimization is carried out on two characteristics of products. Selection method of control parameters is discussed to reduce process fluctuation still remained after the parameter optimization. The effect of optimization and the possibility of control by the method are confirmed experimentally. The results show improvement in the process variance of more than 5 dB and possibility of both two-characteristics optimization and control.

製品の強度は平均値が高く,ばらつきは小さい方がよいという考え方に基づき,溶接強度をその平均値とばらつきの大小に分けて評価し,以下の結果を得た.溶接強度の総合的な評価はきわめて複雑ではあるが次のような特徴的な点が検出された.(1) 強度特性値として得られる計量特性値は,η1=10logVmη2=10log1/rVm-Ve/Veとした2指標をもとに,平均値とばらつきに分けて評価し,さらに寄与率に変換することにより明確に比較される.(2) 評点や等級分類値は精密累積法により分析し,その結果を寄与率に変換,(1)の結果と対照して評価することができる.(3) 溶接の熟練度の差は,外観検査の評点,疲労強さ及びそれらのぼらつきに大きな効果を与える.例えば応力繰返し数106では,疲労強さで約60MPa,η2で約11～16dB(変動係数が3～6倍)熟練者の方がよいという結果を得た.(4) 溶接部を直接調べることになる衝撃試験や曲げ試験は,溶接棒の違いの効果は大きいが,熟練度の差の検出力は大きいとは言えない.(5) 外観検査や曲げ試験では,判定結果における判定者の違いが有意に出た.この個人差を除くための研究がさらに必要である.これらの結果は通常の強度試験よりは,かなりの普遍性があると思うが,企業全体で行われている溶接作業全体をカバーするものではない.しかし,この結果を通して,多元的な強度評価という考え方の重要性とその結果の多様さはある程度明らかにされたと考える.今後,このような考え方が溶接関係者の間に導入されることを期待する.本研究は,工業技術院が主催する機械金属連合部会の中で,計量研究所が担当する計測分科会試験評価技術研究会(現在の先端評価技術研究会)の共同研究の一環として,同研究会の出席者及びその所属機関の協力により実施されたものである.

In this study, the following conclusion has been obtained by introducing the SN technique into evaluation of the polishing of silicon wafer and examining the reason-ability to use characteristics value for determining an optimum machining condition. It is found that evaluation of an optimum machining condition according to the minimizing characteristic and aiming characteristic is controlled by the confidence limit and error to the confirmation test is considerably small where the evaluation is applicable as an evaluation characteristic value. The experiment described in this paper confirms that mathematical tool for an evaluation of the optimum machining condition can be applied in the skillful polishing process domain. And also, analytical and experimental considerations on the polishing accuracies and performance were accorded with explanation from the polishing mechanism.

光散乱式粒子計数器(OPC)の計数誤差評価において,一定粒子数の繰返し計数が不可能であるため,それに代わる方法として2台のOPCによる並列同時測定とその解析方法を提案した.実験と解析の結果,以下のことを明らかにした.(1) OPCで得られる計数値のぼらつきとして,不可避的に生じるサンプリング誤差以外に,測定原理や装置構成等のハードウェア起源の計数誤差が存在する.(2) この計数誤差の大きさは対象粒子に依存し,OPCのしきい値粒径より十分大きなPolystyrene Latex粒子の場合無視し得る大きさであるのに対し,しきい値前後に連続分布する実大気塵では,サンプリング誤差に比べて無視し得ない大きさとなり得る.(3) OPCの粒径分解能が有限であること,および現実の大気塵の形状が球形ではないことから生じる粒径弁別の不確定性が,この計数誤差の一因と考えられる.
