Abstract: In order to study the evolution patterns of two-oriented society coordinated development, with the guidance of Scientific Development View, this paper proposed the research thinking of the evolution pattern of two-oriented society coordinated development, established the MSP evolution patterns structure model of two-oriented society coordinated development and created the model of comprehensive index, coordination degree, development degree and coordinated development index. It also made an empirical analysis of the evolution patterns of two-oriented society coordinated development in all regions of China and worked out the MSP evolution map of two-oriented society coordinated development in each region. This paper improved the theories of coordinated development two-oriented society and embraces great importance of the regional two-oriented society''s construction. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: For the earthquake disaster frequently happened in china, it is necessary to do some research about risk analysis of earthquake. The paper analyzed major factors of earthquake disaster firstly, established earthquake disaster risk assessment model with data of earthquake disaster between 1966 to 2010 and determinated the value of three factors quantitatively. Finally, taking Wenchuan earthquake region as an example, used the spatial analyst function of ArcMap system, analyzed the risk of population in earthquake disaster and created the population risk distribution map with a division of population high risk areas. Abstract: In order to assess index weighted value scientifically, the matter element were introduced into the fuzzy weighted values to set up matter element model based on fuzzy weight. In this way, the model not only holds the merit of classical matter element, but also overcomes its limitations in practice. Referring to Chinese water quality standard, water quality degree of river is divided into 5 grades in this paper. Five indexes, namely DO, CODMn, BOD, NO3-N and Huifafen are selected as evaluation indexes. The model was applied to evaluate water quality of Jialing River and the results are in line with the actual. It showed that water quality of Jialing river is III in Nanchong,while the water quality of Xiaodukou is most serious. The proposed method is proved to be reasonable and reliable, and can be used in comprehensive evaluation problems of water quality. Finally, we analyze the causes of water quality in Jialing River and put forward the control measure. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: This paper aims to use detailed modelling techniques and develop a database for assessing in a quick and easy way the energy performance of green roof designs across a range of Chinese climates. The focus is on heating and cooling loads by calculating indoor temperatures using the EnergyPlus simulation tool. The study covers 5328 configurations by varying model parameters such as location, climate, seasonal periods, glazing type, wall insulation levels, roof insulation, soil thickness and condition, and vegetation density characteristics. It was found from the results that green roofs can offer significant energy savings for heating and cooling loads if they are applied on roofs without insulation but only limited energy savings where heavy insulation on the roof is also applied. This database can prove to be a useful tool to the practitioners who want to perform rapid assessments of the potential energy savings that could be gained from a green roof installation in a Chinese location. Abstract: Strategy-oriented performance management system is a relatively complex integrated system, and how to construct its system structure model has become one of the hotspot problems researched by many experts and scholars. From five aspects, namely the formulationsystem of the planning of Poyang Lake Ecological Economy Zone, the decomposition and transfer system of planning objectives, the design system of assessment method and subject, performance management process system, and basic guarantee system of performance management, etc., this paper constructs the environmental protection performance management system structure model of Party & government leaders at the county and city levels based on the planning of Poyang Lake Ecological Economy Zone, and discusses the main contents of the five subsystems briefly, for purpose of providing certain references for the design of the strategy-oriented performance management system structure model. Abstract: Wetland, located in the terrestrial-aquatic transverse zone, is an important landscape and ecosystem. This paper describe the features and functions of wetlands, and take the case of lower reaches of the Yellow River wetlands, analysis on existing problems of ecological safety on wetland in lower reaches of the Yellow River. Using of GIS and two-dimensional water-sediment mathematical model of the Lower Yellow River, in accordance with the requirement of wetland areas, submerged areas for floods of below the 8000m3 /s magnitude designated as different functional areas. The ideal patterns of ecological security on the wetlands are divided into the core zone, buffer zone and experiment zone. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: It is key issue to predict the rainfall-runoff process on the Kuronagi River before the joint sediment flushing and sluicing of Dashidaira and Unazuki dams at the downstream of the Kurobe River. In this paper, the ArcGIS system is used to produce the digital basin of the Kuronagi River, the distributed Kinematic Wave hydrological model is used to calculate the rainfall-runoff process on the Kuronagi River, and the results are in good agreement with the observations. The results show that with the progress of rainfall observation techniques and computational methods, the development of digital land information and the effective application of GIS technology, a relatively simple rainfall-runoff model can get higher precision results. Abstract: The groundwater heat pump (GWHP) system utilizes groundwater as alternative renewable and clean energy source for space heating and cooling, which is an open-loop system that withdraws water from a production well, passes it through a heat exchanger and discharges the water into an injection well. By utilizing the relatively stable temperature of groundwater, GWHP system can work with a higher coefficient of performance. It is necessary to evaluate the aquifer capacity for the proper design and application of GWHP. In this paper, a numerical method of underground heat transfer, energy balance method and thermal storage method were presented to calculate the load capacity of a unit area of shallow aquifer. The model results indicate that the numerical method, which is based on performance efficiency of groundwater heat pump, reflects the behavior of groundwater pumping and recharging processes, and better than energy balance method and thermal storage method, additionally it has the advantages of energy saving and environmental protect. The capacity is positively related to aquifer thickness. The final results show that it is easy for ground water recharging in alluvial and pluvial fan located at the piedmont, while load capacity is relatively smaller. In contrast, it is difficult for groundwater recharging in south-east plain where a larger load capacity is obtained. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to propose a new method of industrial sewage evaluation. A comprehensive evaluation is presented to industrial sewage on the base of fuzzy recognition firstly. Then a model of fuzzy artificial neural network recognition is set up to evaluate industrial sewage. Finally, the feasibility and the effectiveness of approaches of industrial sewage evaluation based on fuzzy neural network are validated by some examples of industrial sewage evaluation of Zigong City here. Abstract: This paper uses the annual data of 41 listed companies from electronic information industry in 2009, then for the 13 financial index of the model sample, we adopt factor analysis in SPSS statistical analysis software and data envelopment analysis in DEA software and evaluate the operating performance. The conclusion of the study is that the whole operating performance of listed companies in electronic information industry is not on a high level, the differences of performance between companies are large. Abstract: Aimed at the problem of water shortage for irrigation while reducing the water transfer from the Yellow River in Yinchuan plain, by using hydrogeological numerical model, this paper proposed a set of solutions of combining well irrigation and channel irrigation to satisfy the water demand of agriculture. The result shows that, when the reduction is less than 400 million m3/a, increasing well irrigation can meet the demand of agriculture, while the reduction is between 400 and 930 million m3/a, increasing well irrigation as well as decreasing the field irritation quota can also work. But as for the reduction is greater than 1 billion m3/a, we cannot meet the demand of agricultural irrigation, and this will have great effect on the social economy and ecological environment. Abstract: Uncertainty modeling now engages the attention of researchers in spatial temporal change analysis in remote sensing. Some studies proposed to use random sets for modeling the spatial uncertainty of image objects with uncertain boundaries, but none have considered the parameter determination problem for large datasets. In this paper we refined the random set models for monitoring monthly changes in wetland vegetation areas from series of images. Twelve cloud-free HJ-1A/1B images from April 2009 to March 2010 were used for monitoring spatial-temporal changes of Poyang Lake wetlands. We applied random sets to represent spatial uncertainty of wetland vegetation that were extracted from normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) maps. Time series of random sets reflect the seasonal differences of location and extents of the wetlands, whereas degree of uncertainties indicated by SD and CV indices reflect the gradual change of the wetland vegetation in space. Results show that the uncertain extents of wetland vegetation change through the year, achieving the largest range and uncertainty degree in autumn. This coincides with the highly heterogeneous vegetation status in autumn, since the wetland recovers gradually after flooding and young vegetation emerges at gradually changing densities, thus providing forage in different ecological zones for different types of migratory birds. We conclude that the random set model enriches spatial-temporal modeling of phenomena which are uncertain in space and dynamic in time. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Details are given in present paper of the development of a sediment transport and morphological model to predict the bed evolution processes in tidal flows. The model is based on an existing hydrodynamic and sediment transport model (DIVASTSED), but with significant refinements being made. A single size sediment transport module is refined to include capability for simulating the transport of graded sediments under non-equilibrium conditions. Both cohesive sediment and non-cohesive sediment are taken into consideration in present study. The fall velocity of suspended sediment is modified in present model due to the high sediment concentration. A 3-layer approach is adopted to simulate the variations of sediment gradations of bed materials. The model is used to simulate the bed evolution in the Yellow River Delta from 1992 to 1995, the numerical results show how the morphology developed in the Yellow River Delta and agree well with the field data.
