The article examines the importance of Web site's usability and accessibility in providing library services in Tennessee. The World Wide Web Consortium (WSC) Web Accessibility Initiative has been established to aid people with disabilities perceive, understand, navigate and interact with the Web. It means designing a user interface that is effective, efficient and satisfying to library users. Incorporating accessibility requirements in the design of new pages are also essential to incorporate the redesign or update of old pages.
