Anthropogenic climate change is causing an increase in average global temperature and sudden changes in every climatic variable. Temperatures rise and precipitation reduction, among others will have intense and deep impacts not only in ecosystems, but also in economic activities and our own society. Many of the landscapes we know nowadays could disappear in the coming years and everyday products could increase their prices. Economic damages might result in new structural unemployment situations, exacerbating energy poverty and social inequalities among most vulnerable groups, what will force planning earlier adaptation measures related to new scenarios where an adverse meteorology will be the "new normal".
