Background Due to the COVID-19 pandemic， both teenagers' studies and personal life are critically affected， which has resulted in a variety of mental health problems. In this regard， scholars at home and abroad have carried out a large number of research concerning adolescent mental health， of which there still exists a lack of systematic combing and review. Objective To understand the status and development trend of research on adolescent mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic at home and abroad， and to grasp the current research hotspots and trends in this field， so as to provide references for relevant research and practice in the post-epidemic era. Methods On October 30， 2022， we searched through China Knowledge Network Infrastructure （CNKI） and Web of Science database， and the publishing time of articles to be retrieved was limited between December 1， 2019 and October 30， 2022. Excel and CiteSpace were used to perform visual analysis on these articles in terms of number， author， institution， country and keywords of the articles. Results A total of 7 608 articles were included. At home and abroad， the number of papers related to adolescent mental health generally increased at first and then decreased under the pandemic situation. Compared with foreign countries， the connection and cooperation among domestic scholars and institutions was not close enough. The top three countries in the number of English literature published were the United States， Britain and China， and those in intermediary center were Tunis， Cameroon and Anguilla. The parent-child relationship and mental health of teenagers during were much concerned by scholars both at home and abroad. With the passage of time， researchers at home and abroad had shifted their focus from only negative factors to positive factors. Conclusion Chinese scholars or institutions need to strengthen more domestic and international exchanges and cooperation. Scholars from different countries can carry out cross-cultural study on research topics of common concern， and continue to explore the positive psychological changes of teenagers in the post-epidemic era. Qi and qi transformation are the essence of the principles in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). TCM takes ‘qi’ as the origin of everything and the combination of ‘zhen qi (genuine qi)’ and ‘ling qi (spiritual qi)’ as the vitality of the human body, which is the expression of the natural connection between physical and mental health. It also takes ‘chong qi (clashing qi)’ as harmony and dialectical unity in clinical practice. Qi is Xiang (manifestation), a kind of systematic information. Qi should be understood based on its original creativity and the original Xiang of Taixu (the great void). This paper theoretically explored qi from different dimensions: the interpretation and extension of the essence of qi, the treatment of physical and mental diseases with emphasis on qi regulation, and the way to maintain health by paying attention to the harmony between the genuine qi and spiritual qi. In particular, this paper expounded in detail the key points of diagnosis and treatment of the five zang organs injured by abnormal emotions and the regulation of emotional diseases with emphasis on treating the liver and unblocking the qi movement, aiming to provide a reference for TCM clinicians and researchers to fully understand the theory and application value of qi. Friendship alienation is a common dilemma experienced by many Chinese people in life. It especially has negative impacts on the mental health of the alienated party, which cannot be ignored. The role of “yuanfen” ( 緣分 ) in adapting to relationship dilemmas has already been put forward and yuanfen has recently been subdivided into beliefs in “yuan” (緣) and “fen” (分). However, yuan and fen beliefs were for the most part hypothesized in the past to have respective effects on psychological adaptation. This paper first proposes the hypothesis that yuan and fen belief can work together (interact) to buffer the negative effects of friendship alienation on mental health. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the roles of the yuan and fen beliefs following friendship alienation, including the effect of “friendship alienation” on “mental health” and the moderating role of yuan and fen beliefs. In this study, adults aged 18 and above were adopted as subjects. Data was collected through online questionnaires. Participants were requested to fill out assessment scales measuring friendship alienation experiences, their yuan and fen beliefs, sense of loneliness, satisfaction with life, subjective happiness, etc. The results show that compared with those without experiences of friendship alienation, people who had experienced estrangement from their friends within two years indeed showed poorer mental health. The research results with greater significance show that 1) If the yuan and fen beliefs operate simultaneously, they play a buffering role on the negative impacts of alienation experience on mental health. If they both operate independently however, they do not have a buffering effect on the negative impacts of the alienation experience on mental health; and 2) It is worth noting that in situations where belief in yuan is low, and the belief in fen is higher, the more likely an experience of alienation would jeopardize subjective happiness and satisfaction with life. Overall, the joint operation of the beliefs in yuan and fen may play a buffering role in the negative effects of friendship alienation. Nevertheless, it is also worth noting that under specific circumstances, yuan and fen do not always have positive effects on negative relationships as mentioned in the preceding literature. The library of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics has incorporated the theory and practice of reading therapy into the curriculums and set up the "reading and mental health" course to popularize reading therapy and improve the effectiveness of reading therapy. The course introduces the theories and methods of reading therapy through classroom teaching, guides students’ reading behavior and solves students’ psychological confusion through interactive reading and discussion. Taking this course as a case, this paper studies the construction objectives, contents, teaching modes and course evaluation methods of the reading therapy course for science and engineering college students, and preliminarily constructs a teaching mode based on the theory and methods of reading therapy, supported by the reading bibliography of six special topics, based on reading interaction, discussion and scientific evaluation. As a marginalized group, transgender people generally suffer from social prejudice, discrimina tion and stigma. Evidence abounds that transgender people have varying degrees of psychological and behavioral problems. This paper introduces 4 common psychological problems in transgender, including depression, anxiety, suicide, and drug abuse. A minority stress model theory is introduced to explain the causes of their psychological and behavioral problems. This study aims to explore the theory of Zen Master Hui-Neng using quantitative method to verify the theoretical characteristics, Master Hui-Neng is well known as the first Chinese Zen Master, who interpreted Buddhism practice with the viewpoint of Chinese culture into the Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch Hui-Neng. This paper aims to interpret the viewpoint of Platform Sutra by content analysis method, and verify how it describes mental health state of people by empirical research as well. In brief, the theory of Hui-Neng states that people are born with self-nature in commonality. Individuals who identify the self-nature and in the "adaptively" consciousness processing can reach the optimal mental health and state of wisdom. On the contrary, emotional disturbances may be generated for those who do not. The two primary purposes of this study are (1) to investigate the difference of self-schema character and fitness in relate to the theory of Zen Master Hui-Neng in different mental health state, (2) to examine the change of characteristics of self-schema and fitness regarding the theory of Zen Master Hui- Neng after the intensive Zen meditation training in a short term. 54 high school students, who were divided into three different groups based on their mental state. Perception Habit Scale" (PHS) was provided to analyze the results by using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The object-relationship characteristics of self-schema were then decoded and the variables were analyzed by independent chi-square (χ2) test. The PHS was developed with the viewpoint of "adaptively" consciousness processing, includes six following indexes: pure-perception, absorption, here and now, awareness, neutrality as mirror, self-adjusting. Another scaling was the characteristics of object-relationships with identification of the selfnature; include six levels of object relations of conflict, denying, self-center, adaptability, concordance, and selftranscendence. The results indicated that (1) The PHSs and distribution of the levels of object-relationships for the subjects of the three groups were significant. The healthier one's mental state is, higher level of object-relationships would be. (2) The main differences of the three groups indicated that there are characteristics of the self-schema and degrees of fitness for the Hui-Neng Zen between different degrees of mental health. To achieve the second purpose, study two employed a pre-post experiment design of unequal groups. Recruiting from senior high schools, there were 8 participants in the experiment group (which attended the Zen meditation training) and 14 participants were in the control group The two variables regarding the characteristics of self-schema are levels of object-relationships which were analyzed by dependent chi-square (χ2) test, and "Perception habit scale" (PHS) which were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results indicated that the differences between pretest and posttest are significant for the experiment group, while the control group is not. That is, for the experiment group after Zen meditation training the score of PHSs, distribution of characteristics of higher level object relationships. To conclude, through the intensive Zen meditation in a short term, both the characteristics of the self-schema and degrees of fitness for the Hui-Neng Zen theory improved. The results of this research supported that the mind (nature) viewpoint of the self-identity system of the Hui-Neng Zen is suitable for the realization of self-schema and state of mental health. Zen meditation may effectively adjust individuals' self-schema characteristics to a better one. Based on the theory of Hui-Neng and findings of this study, the researcher developed a model of the process of self-nature actualization and the application both on counseling and special education. Objective This paper makes a cross-sectional survey about mental depression in patients with disabilities of Wuhua district, Kunming, investigating the depression of patients and the relevant positive rate and discovering the factors, which provides some basis for the psychological therapy for mental depression of the patients. Methods A symptoms of depression self rating scale (SDS) and a self-designed questionnaire for the basic information were adopted in the thorough survey for the patients of physical disabilities who lived in Wuhua district and had the certificates of disabled. Results Of the 1660 patients with physical disabilities, 889 were found with depression and the depression positive rate was 53.55%. The psychomotor ability was the most frequent symptom. The mental depression disorders was the second and the somatoform disorders the third. The least frequent one was mental emotional symptom. Univariate analysis showed that for the depression positive rate, there were some ethnic groups differences and no age, sex and household types difference in the patients. For the depression symptom factors, there were ethnic groups and household types differences, no age and sex differences. Conclusion The positive rate of the patients in the survey was higher than the general population and the other domestic and overseas counterparts. The psychomotor ability was the most frequent symptom. The mental depression disorders was the second and the somatoform disorders the third. The least frequent one was mental emotional symptom. According to the uivariate analysis, the positive rate of the patients might be related to the ethnic groups, and might have no relationship with age, sex and household types. However, the depression symptom factors maybe connected with ethnic groups and household types and irrelevant with age and sex. In conclusion, the present mental health status of the patients with mental depression of Wuhua district, Kunming was not looking good and the paper provides some clues for the psychological rehabilitation therapy for the patients with depression. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) belong to one of psychogenic disorder, which is characterized by obsessional thoughts and obsessional behaviors. Many people are seriously affected by OCD in the mental health and daily life, and so far OCD is caused a extensive attention. The OCD etiology is involved many factors, such as family environment, social atmosphere, personal level of education, intelligence levels and the physical quality of the individual, health and personality traits. Research for obsessive-compulsive disorder biological mechanism is mainly concentrated on some genes. Among those genes, 5-HT and DA research is relatively more and mature than others. In addition, recently it has been found that Glu and IL-10 are related to OCD. Meanwhile, OCDtreatments are also emergence, especially medication treatment and psychotherapy. Mainly five aspects of OCD are given in this paper including the definition, clinical manifestation, influencing factors, the biological mechanism and therapeutic methods, which may provide some valuable reference for correlative researches. This paper attempts to explore the mental health problems of the youth in Hong Kong and presents some discussions on this subject. A model of holistic well-being is recommended to enhance the mental health of young people from physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and family-orientated perspectives. The latter part of this paper suggests the promotion of early intervention, community mental health education, and some preventive directions, such as policy advocation from family, education, medical, and social service perspectives. Nowadays sexual and reproductive health (SRH) service is not easily accessible to unmarried youth migrants. Those unmarried youth migrants and medical workers, as suppliers and demanders, are both in confusion. Those unmarried youth migrants are confused about selecting right medical resources. Owing to privacy, attitude of medical officials, time and other issues, some migrant adolescents tend to seek medical service from private clinics. On the other hand, some medical workers render service passively and incompletely. Problems of reproductive health in those unmarried youth migrants are also related with their mental health. This paper analyzes the mental health of adolescents in Taiwan and reviews the literature on "resilience" and mental health of at-risk adolescents. The author suggests that different professional practitioners should be integrated into the mental health team.
