Phosphorus-solubilizing microorganisms convert insoluble phosphorus in the soil into phosphorus that can be absorbed by plants. Soluble phosphate combines with heavy metals to form precipitation, reducing the content of available heavy metals, thereby reducing the absorption of heavy metals by crops, which plays an important role in the remediation of heavy metal-contaminated soil. The effects of the immobilization of Cd and Pb and the release of PO 4 3- by the phosphorus-solubilizing bacterium Klebsiella sp. M2 were studied through solution culture experiments. In addition, the effects of strain M2 on wheat uptake of Cd and Pb and its microbiological mechanism were also explored through pot experiments. The results showed that strain M2 reduced the concentrations of Cd and Pb and increased the concentration of PO 4 3- in the solution through cell wall adsorption and induced phosphate precipitation. Pot experiments showed that compared to those in the CK group and inactivated strain M2 group, inoculation with live strain M2 significantly increased （123%-293%） the contents of Ca 2 -P and Ca 8 -P in rhizosphere soil, decreased the content of DTPA-Cd （34.48%） and DTPA-Pb （36.72%） in wheat rhizosphere soil, and thus hindered the accumulation of Cd and Pb in wheat grains. Moreover, high-throughput sequencing results showed that strain M2 significantly increased the diversity of wheat rhizosphere bacterial communities； increased the relative abundance of Proteobacteria, Gemmatimonadetes, and Bacteroidota in wheat rhizosphere soil； and increased the proportion of heavy metal-immobilizing and phosphorus-promoting bacteria in wheat rhizosphere soil （mainly Sphingomonas , Nocardioides , Bacillus , Gemmatimonas , and Enterobacter ）. These bacterial genera played an important role in immobilizing heavy metals and preventing wheat from absorbing heavy metals. These results provide bacterial resources and theoretical basis for the bioremediation of heavy metal-contaminated farmland.

Objective: To identify efficacy and safety of pudendal nerve block in tubing through the third posterior sacral foramen for the treatment of pudendal neuralgia (PN). Methods: A retrospective study with 222 PN patients was conducted in the Department of Pain Management of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital from January 2020 to April 2023. These patients were divided into two groups based on their treatment methods: pudendal nerve block in tubing through the third posterior sacral foramen (observation group, n =101) and ultrasound-guided pudendal nerve block (control group, n =121). Primary outcome measure was the 90-day postoperative pain relief rate. Secondary outcome measures included visual analog scale (VAS) at 1, 7, 14, 30 and 90 d after surgery, the incidence of tramadol uses after surgery, postoperative self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores and the incidence of adverse events. Factors that influenced pain relief within 90 days after surgery were analyzed by using binary logistic regression analysis. Results: Observation group included 34 males and 67 females, aged (49.8±16.0) years old. Control group included 38 males and 83 females, aged (43.7±14.0) years old. The 90-day postoperative pain relief rate of the observation group patients was 38.6% (39/101), which was higher than the 24.0% (29/121) of the control group patients ( P =0.018). Both the observation group and the control group showed an interaction effect of time and group after treatment for VAS scores (both P <0.05). In intra-group comparison, the VAS scores at 1, 7, 14, 30 and 90 d after treatment in both groups were lower than those before treatment (all P <0.05). In inter-group comparison, the differences of the VAS scores were not statistically significant in the observation group compared with those in the control group at 1, 7, 14, 30 and 90 d after surgery (all P >0.05). The SAS score of the observation group at 90 d after surgery was 51.5±6.2, which was lower than the 53.4±5.8 of the control group ( P =0.022). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postoperative tramadol uses and adverse events between the two groups (both P >0.05). Pudendal nerve block in tubing through the third posterior sacral foramen was a protective factor for pain postoperative relief in PN patients at 90 d after surgery ( OR =1.92, 95% CI : 1.05-3.48, P =0.033). Conclusion: Pudendal nerve block in tubing through the third posterior sacral foramen is a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment. It has a higher postoperative pain relief rate within 90 d after surgery, without increasing the uses of postoperative rescue analgesics and the incidence of adverse events.

Meteorological conditions play a key role in the occurrence and evolution of atmospheric complex pollution. Considering the different pollution formation mechanisms of PM 2.5 and O 3 , statistical calculation and in-depth learning methods were used to construct the PM 2.5 and O 3 meteorological condition indexes based on long-term pollution meteorological observation data. A research method was developed to study the meteorological characteristics and impact contribution of atmospheric complex pollution by using the meteorological condition index, and quantitative analysis of the distribution and variation of pollution excluding the influence of regional meteorological differences was also conducted. The results showed that in the summer of 2021, the pollution meteorological conditions in the key regions in central and eastern China were generally worse in the north and better in the south(index:"2+26" cities>the border area of Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, and Henan>the Yangtze River Delta) and the worst in June and the best in July. The "double high" pollution began to appear when the PM 2.5 meteorological condition index>30 and O 3 meteorological condition index>100; meanwhile, the unfavorable meteorological conditions for O 3 also promoted the increase in PM 2.5 concentration, resulting in the frequency of "double high" increases with the increase in O 3 meteorological condition index. Compared with that during the same period last year, ρ (PM 2.5 ) of each region decreased by 3.9 μg·m -3 , 3.3 μg·m -3 , and 1.4 μg·m -3 due to the contribution of the improvement in the pollution meteorological conditions, which is nearly 58.5% on average of the total decrease in PM 2.5 concentration. However, the change in O 3 pollution meteorological conditions was better in the north and worse in the south, and the overall deterioration in the Yangtze River Delta Region led to approximately 2.8 μg·m -3 growth for the O 3 concentration. The PM 2.5 and O 3 concentrations after excluding the impact of meteorological differences showed different distribution characteristics from the air quality monitoring, in which the high concentrations of PM 2.5 were distributed along the Bohai Sea, the inter-provincial border, and the south of the region, whereas the high concentrations of O 3 were concentrated along the Taihang Mountains, around Mount Tai, and in parts of the Yangtze River Delta. The daily concentration variations in a single city during a specific pollution control period could be used as a basis for evaluating the effectiveness of local supervision and control, which will provide a reference for the dynamic supervision and daily scheduling of local control management.

Objective: To evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of hepatitis E vaccine(HEV)in Maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients. Methods: Based on an open-labeled controlled trial, from May 2016 to March 2018, 35 eligible MHD patients were recruited in the Hemodialysis Center of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University as the experimental group, and 70 MHD patients with matched age, gender and underlying diseases as the control group. The experimental group received HEV at 0, 1 and 6 months according to the standard vaccination procedures, while the control group received routine diagnosis and treatment without vaccine and placebo injection to observe the safety and immunogenicity of the vaccine. The safety of vaccine in MHD population was evaluated by the incidence of adverse reactions/events in the experimental and control groups. The immunogenicity of HEV in MHD patients was evaluated by comparing the data from the phase Ⅲ clinical trial. Results: The overall incidence of adverse reactions/events was 17.1% (18/105), and there were no grade 3-4 adverse reactions/events related to vaccination. In the experimental group, the incidence of local adverse reactions/events was 20.0% (7/35), and the incidence of systemic adverse reactions/events was 17.1% (6/35).There was no significant difference in the incidence of systemic adverse reactions/events between the experimental group and the control group ( P >0.05). There were 23 patients receiving 3 doses with the standard schedule. The positive rate of HEV-IgG antibody was 100% and the GMC was 14.47(95% CI :13.14-15.80) WU/ml, which showed no significant difference compared with the 46 patients in Phase Ⅲ clinical trial ( t =-1.04, P >0.05). Conclusion: Recombinant HEV has good safety and immunogenicity in MHD patients.

Abstract: In cases of sudden death, the prevention of sudden cardiac death and the analysis of the cause of death after sudden cardiac death have always been a difficult problem. Therefore, clinical research and forensic pathological identification of sudden cardiac death are of great significance. In recent years, metabolomics has gradually developed into a popular field of life science research. The detection of "metabolic fingerprints" of biological fluids can provide an important basis for early diagnosis of diseases and the discovery of potential biomarkers. A large-scale arsenic slag-contaminated site was selected to determine soil pollution characteristics and the degree of ecological risk of a large-scale contaminated site. In this study, 184 site soil samples, 101 agricultural soil samples, and 14 arsenic slag samples were collected and the pollution characteristics and ecological risk of As were evaluated using multivariate statistics, geostatistics, and the geoaccumulation and potential ecological risk index methods. The results show that the average As contents in site soil, agricultural soil, and arsenic slag are 1333.0, 358.1, and 17316.1 mg·kg -1 , respectively. The degree of contamination of As exceeds the national standard Ⅲof the environmental soil quality. The results of the vertical and three-dimensional distributions of contamination show that As is accumulated to different extents in different strata. The accumulation in the site surface soil is the most serious. The As concentrations in site soil samples are higher than that in agricultural soil samples. The potential ecological risk index method shows that all mean potential ecological risk indexes exceed 100 in different strata. Moreover, the percentage of samples in site and agricultural soils at medium pollution level ratios is 58.21% and 61.39%, respectively, illustrating that the As pollution of soil samples from this contaminated site and surrounding farm areas is serious.

Objective: To explore the risk factors of lung cancer in non-smoking Chinese women and to provide evidence for lung cancer prevention and control., Methods: Information was collected on case-control studies published in the journals, both nationally and internationally from January, 1995 to November, 2014 that reported correlations between lung cancer and risk factors. Pooled odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) of risk factors on lung cancer in non-smoking Chinese women were calculated, using the Meta-analysis method, with sensitivity and publication bias tested., Results: Information on 24 case-control studies was selected including 11 946 cumulative cases and 12 596 controls. Pooled ORs (95% CI) were shown as: history of lung diseases 1.89 (1.57, 2.27), history of tuberculosis 1.86 (1.53, 2.27), history of chronic bronchitis 1.51 (1.04, 2.19), family history of cancers 2.02 (1.67, 2.44), family history of lung cancers 2.45 (1.80, 3.34), passive smoking (at workplace in adult period 1.47 (1.28, 1.69), at home in adulthood 1.22 (1.09, 1.36), in all life's time 1.52 (1.29, 1.79), kitchen smog while cooking 2.21 (1.27, 2.96), position of kitchen 1.76 (1.48, 2.09), and frequency of deep frying per week 2.24 (1.61, 3.12) etc. respectively., Conclusion: Major risk factors related to lung cancer in non-smoking Chinese women would include lung diseases, family history of cancers, and passive smoking (tobacco smog and cooking smog). Particularly, the combination of family history and the degree of cooking presented stronger correlation effects, indicating that genetic and environmental factors jointly played an important role in the development of lung cancer.

Objective: To investigate the diagnostic significance of basophil activation test (BAT) in anaphylaxis to non-ionic contrast media through testing the content of CD63, mast cell-carboxypeptidase A3 (MC-CPA3), and terminal complement complex SC5b-9 of the individuals by testing their levels in the normal immune group and the anaphylaxis groups to β-lactam drugs and non -ionic contrast media., Methods: The CD63 expression of basophilic granulocyte in blood was detected by flow cytometry. The levels of MC-CPA3 in blood serum and SC5b-9 in blood plasma were detected by ELISA., Results: The CD63 expression of basophilic granulocyte in blood, the levels of MC-CPA3 and SC5b-9 of anaphylaxis to non-ionic contrast media and β-lactam drugs were significantly higher than that in normal immune group (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: There is activation of basophilic granulocytes, mast cells and complement system in anaphylaxis to non-ionic contrast media. BAT can be used to diagnose the anaphylaxis to non-ionic contrast media.

In order to explore input pathways and pollution characteristics of Cd contamination in paddy soil in Youxian, Hunan Province, Cd contents in paddy soils, sediments of irrigation canals, typical mineral and industrial products such as coal, gangue and cement were analyzed. It was suggested that the average contents of Cd both in surface paddy soil and the corresponding natural soil were higher than the soil quality standard 0.3 mg x kg(-1). Cd contents in gangue and cement were similar as those in the corresponding natural soils. The atmosphere deposition of Cd was the highest in factory area. The profiles of Cd in 0-100 cm paddy soil and 0-40 cm in natural soils varied significantly from the upper to the lower layer. Cd contents in 0-40 cm layer in paddy soil were much higher than those in corresponding natural soils in mineral and mineral-factory areas. The potentiality for downward movement of Cd in soils in mineral area was the highest among the three studied areas. It suggested Cd contents in surface paddy soil were higher in upwind areas than those in downwind areas in mineral-factory and factory areas. It could be concluded that the main input pathways of Cd in mineral and mineral-factory. areas were from irrigation water, while contribution of atmosphere deposition in mineral-factory and factory areas was also very significant.

In order to enhance the reliability of risk estimation and to improve the accuracy of pollution scope determination in a battery contaminated site with the soil characteristic pollutant Pb, four spatial interpolation models, including Combination Prediction Model (OK(LG) + TIN), kriging model (OK(BC)), Inverse Distance Weighting model (IDW), and Spline model were employed to compare their effects on the spatial distribution and pollution assessment of soil Pb. The results showed that Pb concentration varied significantly and the data was severely skewed. The variation coefficient of the site was higher in the local region. OK(LG) + TIN was found to be more accurate than the other three models in predicting the actual pollution situations of the contaminated site. The prediction accuracy of other models was lower, due to the effect of the principle of different models and datum feature. The interpolation results of OK(BC), IDW and Spline could not reflect the detailed characteristics of seriously contaminated areas, and were not suitable for mapping and spatial distribution prediction of soil Pb in this site. This study gives great contributions and provides useful references for defining the remediation boundary and making remediation decision of contaminated sites.

Objective: To determine the dynamic change in serum levels of activin A (ACTA) and C-reaction protein (CRP) in patients with brain injury, and to investigate its significance., Methods: A prospective study was conducted. A total of 57 adult patients with brain injury occurring within 24 hours admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August 2012 to June 2013 were enrolled. The patients were allocated into three groups according to their Glasgow coma scale (GCS) as follows: minor brain injury (GCS 13-15, n=17), moderate brain injury (GCS 9-12, n=18), heavy brain injury (GCS 3-8, n=22). The clinical and related laboratory data (reflecting the function of liver, kidney, lung, blood coagulability etc.) were recorded after ICU admission. At the same time, venous samples were collected on the day 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 after ICU admission for determination of ACTA with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and CRP with fluorescence immunoassay technology. The correlation between ACTA and CRP was analyzed by linear correlation. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was plotted to analyze the accuracy of ACTA and CRP as a prognostic indicator in brain injury. Fifteen healthy persons were enrolled as the control group., Results: The serum levels of ACTA and CRP in patients with minor, moderate and heavy brain injury were significantly higher than those in healthy control group [ACTA (μg/L): 23.96±3.55, 42.06±5.67, 52.32±4.46 vs. 13.66±2.45, all P<0.01; CRP (mg/L): 14.12±2.45, 23.05±2.85, 30.93±2.35 vs. 3.42±2.25, all P<0.01]. As the patients' condition worsening, levels of ACTA and CRP tended to elevate (all P<0.01). Levels of ACTA and CRP in minor, moderate and heavy brain injury groups were increased after ICU admission. On day 3, levels of serum ACTA and CRP reached the peak values [ACTA (μg/L):30.62±2.54, 51.35±2.55, 60.52±2.55; CRP (mg/L): 18.62±2.64, 30.35±2.25, 37.52±2.55], and then they lowered gradually. In minor and moderate brain injury groups, the levels of ACTA and CRP were slowly descending, and on day 7, they maintained at a lower level [ACTA (μg/L): 13.68±2.54, 37.74±2.55; CRP (mg/L): 6.68±2.44, 19.74±2.55]. On the contrary, the levels of ACTA and CRP in heavy brain injury group persistently maintained at a high level on day 7 [ACTA: (42.32±2.54) μg/L, CRP: (33.32±2.56) mg/L]. There were significant differences in ACTA and CRP among different degrees of brain injury groups (all P<0.01). There was a positive correlation between ACTA and CRP (r=0.958, P=0.007). ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity for brain injury prediction was 93.3% for ACTA with specificity 95.0%, area under ROC curve(AUC) 0.843, and the sensitivity for CRP was 89.1% with specificity 68.2%, AUC 0.723., Conclusions: Serum levels of ACTA and CRP in patients with brain injury are strongly correlated with the severity of the injury. Furthermore, ACTA is more sensitive than CRP in detecting early brain injury. Therefore, ACTA is a specific factor for detecting brain injury.

Objective: To identify the etiology of an aseptic encephalitis outbreak (ten cases) in a hospital of Xiamen city from 11 to 17 May, 2011., Methods: A total of ten patients' throat swabs, anal swabs and cerebrospinal fluid were collected and detected by RT-PCR for pan-enterovirus. The samples containing detectable pan-enterovirus were tested by PCR with genotype-specific general primers located in VP1 region of enterovirus genotype A, B and C (HEV-A, B and C). The PCR products of VP1 segment were purified and sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis was performed. Meanwhile, the pathogens in those samples were isolated in Vero cell culture. Homologous analysis of VP1 sequences were carried out for the cultured virus samples and the original clinical samples to identify the outbreak etiology., Results: Among the ten cases, seven cases were positive for pan-enterovirus nucleic acid. When tested by genotype-specific PCR, the throat and anal swab samples from those 7 patients were positive with HEV-B VP1 primers. Meanwhile, the HEV-B VP1 segments were sequenced and phylogenetic analyzed, which indicated the seven cases were all infected by enterovirus Echo 30. The sequences from those samples had homology of 95.3% - 97.1% with the epidemic strains in Zhejiang, 2004. Out of the seven cases, the sequences of XM2, XM3, XM4, XM8 throat swab samples and XM3, XM6 throat samples showed 99.4% - 100.0% homology which were different from the sequence of XM1, and the homology was 92.8% - 93.4%. Furthermore, the viruses were isolated using Vero cells from XM1, XM2, XM3, XM4 and XM8 throat swab samples, and the VP1 sequence showed more than 99.9% homology with the original specimens., Conclusion: The local outbreak of aseptic encephalitis was caused by Echo 30 of enterovirus genotype B, and the epidemic strains may have different genetic background.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical performance of a probe melting analysis (PMA)-based real-time PCR detection kit in rapid detection of rifampin-resistant mutations in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB)., Methods: The specificity of the assay was evaluated by detecting 37 non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), and the detection limit of the method was evaluated by genomic DNA of a standard strain H37Rv. Finally, 962 clinical isolates were analyzed with the PMA assay by detecting mutations in rifampin resistance-determining region (RRDR) of rpoB gene, and results were verified with DNA sequencing., Results: Among 37 NTM strains, three strains showed drug resistant mutation signals. The PMA method could detect down to 30 bacteria per reaction. Sample analysis showed that 186 of 962 isolates were mutants, 751 isolates were wild type and 25 isolates failed to give amplification signals. Among the mutant samples detected, 112 samples from November 2009 to April 2010 were further analyzed by sequencing, as well as 200 wild-type samples. The results showed a complete agreement with the PMA assay except for 5 samples failed in sequence analysis., Conclusion: The PMA assay is rapid, accurate and easy-to-use, and thus can be used for detection of rifampin-resistant in clinical isolate samples.

Objective: To understand the perceived stigma and discrimination and received stigma and discrimination as well as the differences and reasons of them among people living with HIV/AIDS and their family members., Methods: 307 people were investigated and 117 of which were HIV/AIDS and the others were their family members. Face to face interview was carried out., Results: HIV/AIDS and their family were living in the social environment rounded by stigma and discrimination. Stigma and discrimination could be divided into perceived stigma and discrimination and received stigma and discrimination, and these two kinds of stigma and discrimination were statistically significant different between HIV/AIDS and their family members (t = -12.540, P = 0.000), and the perceived stigma and discrimination was more serious than received stigma and discrimination. The perceived stigma and discrimination were related to their self-efficacy (OR = 0.558, P = 0.041), family APGAR (OR = 0.650, P = 0.027), infected with HIV or not (OR = 2.116, P = 0.004). The received stigma and discrimination were related to their self-efficacy (OR = 0.468, P = 0.028), family APGAR (OR = 0.427, P = 0.000) whether infected by HIV (OR = 3.412, P = 0.001)., Conclusion: Stigma and discrimination did exist in the environment where HIV/AIDS and their family lived, suggesting that it was necessary to develop a series of policies and measures to fight against stigma and discrimination.

Objective: To evaluated the independent effects of different types of smoking exposure along with multiple risk factors for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and determined whether the magnitude of smoking was modified by other risk factors, both in men and women., Methods: We conducted a case-control study in Xiamen China. 345 HCC patients and 961 healthy control subjects were personally interviewed for several HCC risk factors. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to estimate the adjusted odds ratio (AOR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) for each potential risk factor., Results: Cigars and pipes were not related to HCC among non-cigarette smokers. However, passive smoking exposure was associated with HCC in women: AOR, 2.35 (95%CI: 1.19 - 4.07). Regular cigarette smoking was associated with HCC in men: AOR, 2.27 (95%CI: 1.14 - 3.31). Cigarette smoking and chronic infection of hepatitis B virus showed positive additive model interactions in men: RERI (relative excess risk due to interaction) was 98.70 and AP (attributable proportion due to interactions) was 81.0%. Data on cigarette smoking with high AFB1-albumin adducts in women showed that the RERI was 2.69 and AP was 50.0%., Conclusion: We concluded that sex differences were seen in HCC relationship with cigarette smoking. Controlling of exposure to smoking might be a prudent approach to the prevention of HCC, especially in patients with chronic viral hepatitis infections.

Objective: To explore the relationship between polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) exposure and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and the interaction of PAH exposure and other HCC risk factors to HCC., Methods: Baseline blood samples, collected from 345 HCC cases and 961 controls, were used to determine the level of PAH-albumin adducts by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Conditional logistic regression analysis was used to assess the effect of PAH-albumin adducts on risk of HCC., Results: The mean level of PAH-albumin adducts was significantly higher in cases than in controls ((5.68 +/- 0.72) fmol/mg albumin vs (5.46 +/- 0.63) fmol/mg albumin) (u = 5.98, P < 0.01). When compared to subjects in the lowest quantile (< 1.76 fmol/mg albumin), there was an increase in risk of HCC, with adjusted ORs (95%CI) of 1.03 (0.65 - 1.60), 1.18 (0.76 - 1.78), 2.01 (1.42 - 2.82) for subjects in the second (1.76-fmol/mg albumin), the third (15.28-fmol/mg albumin), and the fourth quantile (> 34.21 fmol/mg albumin), respectively (chi(2)(trend) = 15.06, P < 0.01). There was a significant interaction between PAH-albumin adducts and HBsAg, family history of cancer and diabetes mellitus on HCC after adjusted for other risk factors, and relative excess risks due to the interaction (RERI) were 2.50 (u = 3.60, P < 0.01), 0.52 (u = 2.13, P < 0.05) and 0.88 (u = 2.26, P < 0.05), respectively., Conclusion: PAH-albumin adducts was related with HCC, and there is a trend of HCC prevalence increasing with the content of PAH-albumin adducts. There are interactions between PAH-albumin adducts and HBV infection, family history of cancer and diabetes mellitus on HCC.

Objective: To investigate the detection limit of multicolor combinational probe coding real-time PCR (MCPC-PCR) in detection of Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus suspended in the food samples, and to apply MCPC-PCR to detect the samples of food poisoning., Methods: Series concentration of bacterium suspension (10(1) - 10(9) CFU/ml) was prepared by using 22 simulated samples including fresh meat and cakes and then MCPC-PCR was applied to detect Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus in 22 samples. Enrichment broth of 101 frozen samples and 5 early patients' anal swabs in food poisoning cases were detected after the DNA samples were extracted., Results: The limits of MCPC-PCR assay in detecting Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus were about 10(2) copies/test; 101 frozen enrichment broth of samples in food poisoning cases were detected by MCPC-PCR assay, of 23 positive samples, 18 were confirmed by bacteriology techniques; 96 samples detected by MCPC-PCR and bacteriology techniques had the same results, and the coincidence rate was 95.05%. Anal swabs, collected from 5 of early patients in a food poisoning case gave a clue to be Vibrio parahaemolyticus by MCPC-PCR assay and then were perfectly consistent with bacteriology assay., Conclusion: As a method of high sensitivity and good specificity, MCPC-PCR assay can quickly and conveniently detect multiple pathogens existing in food samples, therefore we recommend it to be used in rapidly screening or simultaneous detection of food-borne diseases.
