The flame retardancy and smoke suppression performance of silicone rubber foam (SiFs) greatly affected its promotion and application in the field of high performance materials. Improving the flame retardancy and smoke suppression performance of SiFs had became a hot and difficult topic in recent years. The current research status of flame retardancy and smoke suppression of SiFs in flame retardant systems such as metal hydroxide flame retardants, boron- based flame retardants, phosphorus-and nitrogen-based flame retardants, platinum catalysts, microcapsule flame retardants, and ceramic-based flame retardants had been summarized with 67 references. Besides, the corresponding flame retardancy mechanisms had been expounded. Finally, the future research direction of flame retardancy and smoke suppression of SiFs was presented.

ObjectiveXenotransplantation is an effective way to address the shortage of human organ donors, but it faces serious immune rejection reactions, including hyperacute rejection caused by blood type differences. Establishing a stable, convenient, and reliable method for pig blood type identification can quickly screen suitable donor pigs for xenograft research. Methods Banna miniature inbred pigs, Diannan small eared pigs, and Bama Xiang pigs were selected as the research objects. DNA was extracted from the blood, oral buccal mucosa, and fetal fibroblasts of the three strains of pigs using DNA extraction kits. The target fragment of the ABO homologous gene EAA intron 7 in pigs was amplified using PCR method. Blood agglutination reaction was used to detect hemolysis in pig anterior vena cava whole blood after adding anti A and B antibodies. Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression level of A antigen in pig heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidney tissues. Immunofluorescence method was used to detect the expression level of A antigen in pig oral mucosa. By comparing the results of different methods for determining pig blood types, the stability and reliability of the PCR method were verified, and a convenient PCR based pig blood type identification method was established. Results Firstly, the blood PCR results of 69 inbred strains of Banna miniature pigs, 7 Diannan small eared pigs, and 34 Bama Xiang pigs showed 20 AO blood types, 66 AA blood types, and 24 O blood types. The PCR results of fetal fibroblasts from 47 Diannan small eared pigs showed that all 47 fetuses were O blood type. Among them, the oral mucosal PCR results of 8 gene edited cloned pigs were consistent with those of donor fetal fibroblasts, all of which were O blood type. The oral mucosal PCR results of 8 wild-type pigs (2 inbred lines of Banna miniature pigs, 4 Diannan small eared pigs, and 2 Bama Xiang pigs) were consistent with the blood PCR identification results. Then, 11 inbred lines of Banna miniature pigs, 4 Diannan small eared pigs, and 2 Bama Xiang pigs were randomly selected for blood agglutination reaction validation, and the results were consistent with the PCR identification results of both blood samples and oral mucosa samples. Moreover, immuno-histochemical analysis was performed on the heart, liver, lung, kidney, and spleen tissues of one Banna miniature pig inbred line and two Bama Xiang pigs, and the results were consistent with blood PCR identification and blood agglutination reaction results. Finally, oral mucosal samples were collected from 2 inbred strains of Banna miniature pigs and 1 Bama Xiang pig for immunofluorescence detection, and the results were consistent with the blood PCR identification results. ConclusionBy collecting fetal cells and oral mucosal samples from live pigs for PCR detection, the blood type of pigs can be accurately and efficiently identified, providing a convenient method for blood type screening of xenograft donor pigs.

In this work, 193 nm ultraviolet photodissociation-mass spectrometry (UVPD-MS) was applied to investigate supercharging reagent sulfolane in protein sequence and structure characterization. All datasets were collected by using an Orbitrap MS system equipped with an ArF 193 nm EX50 excimer Laser. The 193 nm UV laser has the advantages of high brightness, good stability, and propagate in air, which can directly excite and dissociate the protein backbone within 5 ns (single pulse). Previous reports demonstrated that the partial protein high-order structures and non-covalent interactions could be retained in the UVPD fragments and the site-specific fragmentation yields (FYs) revealed the dynamic protein structure alterations under different conditions. Therefore, the combination of UVPD with nMS provides a new research paradigm for the characterization of protein structure changes. In this work, we further demonstrated 193 nm UVPD was superior to high-energy collision induced dissociation (HCD) in fragmenting and sequencing the non-denatured carbonic anhydrase II (CA) generated in native electrospray ionization (ESI). UVPD could efficiently activate and fragmentate the non-denatured CA with different charge states in just 5 ns, achieving cleavage sequence coverage 79.8% for CA Z10. Then, 0.25% supercharging reagent sulfolane was added into the protein solution and the CA charge distribution was significantly moved to higher charge states under identical native ESI conditions. However, higher-order structures (HOS) and non-covalent interactions could be obtained as the CA charge distribution was still concentrated and significantly different from the spectra features of denatured CA. The UVPD cleavage sequence coverage of the CA was increased to 87.2%, including the regions that were difficult to be dissociated and characterized without sulfolane addition. In addition, the non-covalent of CA and Zn2+ remained stable, indicating that the addition of sulfoxide had little influence on the Zn2+ binding region. The UVPD sequence coverage of CA Z11 was increased by 7.4% after the addition of sulfoxide, but the site FYs were almost not changed, demonstrating the corresponding local structures were nearly not changed. However, the higher charge states introduced by sulfolane also exhibited the risk of inducing specific structure alteration of part of protein regions. In conclusion, it was infered that supercharging reagent is efficient in modulating the charge state distribution of proteins in native ESI-MS characterization and can expand the MS detection mass range. The introduction of supercharging reagent can further improve the UVPD sequence coverage, including the structure-compact regions hard to be fragmented. Although part of the protein HOS and non-covalent interactions seems retained, the influence of higher charge states on protein structures should be considered in dynamic protein structure investigation.

On the north side of the Hexi Corridor, two active faults, which belong to two different fault systems, have been discovered on the southern margin of Beishan, namely the Jiujing-Bantan fault and the Ebomiao fault. The NE-trending (40°~50°) Jiujing-Bantan fault with a NW-trending dip angle of 60°~70° is ~28 km long and ~55 km away from Yumen City. It consists of 4 branches and presents a complex Y-shaped distribution, controlling the development of the two late Pleistocene basins on its west side. The nearly EW-trending Ebomiao fault with a NW-trending dip angle of 60°~80° is ~18 km long and ~50 km away from Jinta County. Base on results from the satellite image interpretation, offset geomorphological survey, trench excavation and optical luminescence dating, we discovered a series of ridges, gullies and terraces offset by the Jiujing-Bantan fault which has been active since ~20 ka ago mostly with normal left-lateral strike-slips. The northward thrusting of the Ebomiao fault formed a clear linear scarp and offset the gullies with left-lateral strike-slips. This fault has been active since ~30 ka ago, mainly with reverse left-lateral strike-slips. The neotectonic activities of these two faults evidences that the long-range strain transmission from the northern margin of the Tibetan Plateau has entered into the southern margin of the Beishan orogenic belt since the late Cenozoic.

Inquiry is an essential component of diagnostics and one of the essential skills that a clinician required. In order to improve the efficiency of learning inquiry, communication skills, clinical consultation skills, it is worth developing a training model that stimulates inquiry with standardized computer virtualization software. Through the investigation in the early stage with medical students, our team has developed an inquiry simulation software “Yask” with choosing form and made some explorations of reasonable evaluation of inquiry results.

[Objectives] In response to the need for improved habitability arising from the harsh environment of submarine accommodation, this paper studies the conditioned air distribution for submarine accommodation equipped with spherical air distributors,and evaluate the thermal comfort of the accommodation.[Methods] A high-precision three-dimensional model of accommodation is constructed with CATIA,and according to the actual boundary conditions,the numerical simulation of air distribution in the accommodation under surface and underwater conditions in summer and winter,and the numerical simulation of the conditioned air distribution in the accommodation with spherical air distributors under summer surface condition are carried out by using the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)technology. Besides,the distribution of the air temperature and velocity in the accommodation under each working condition is analyzed and compared,and the PMV value of the accommodation is calculated and analyzed.[Results] It is shown that the PMV values of the accommodation are -1-1 under each working condition, the air velocity distribution in most areas of the accommodation is uniform,with the average air velocity of less than 0.3 m/s,and the temperature distribution in most areas of the accommodation is uniform,with average air temperature of about 24.5-26℃ in summer,and about 22-23.5℃ in winter.[Conclusions] The typical air conditioning comfort of the submarine accommodation equipped with spherical air distributors is up to the standard.

This paper presented the design of a novel general signal processing system based on the partial reconfiguration of Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA). This solution uses framework of high speed FPGA，Digital Signal Processor(DSP) and Analog/Digital Convertor(DAC), and supports the performing, storing and dynamically reconfiguring of dozens of waveforms in three channels. This system is suitable for the miniaturization application.

The ZM5 magnesium alloy plates were welded by TIG welding method. The microstructural characteristics and mechanical properties of ZM5 magnesium alloy joint were studied by optical microscopy, microhardness and tensile testers. The results show that the TIG weld joint of ZM5 magnesium alloy is composed of heat affected zone, partially melted zone and weld metal. The heat affected zone is consisted of primary α-Mg phase and eutectic phase that is composed of eutectic α-Mg and eutectic β-Mg17Al12 phase and mainly precipitated at grain boundaries. In the partially melted zone, the eutectic phase is not only increasingly precipitated at grain boundaries, but also dispersed in grains, and the growth of the β-Mg17Al12 phase is obviously observed. The microstructure in the weld is the typical dendritic morphology. The dendrites are considered as primary α-Mg phase, and the interdendritic regions are α+β eutectic phase. The difference in the microstructure of the heat affected zone, partially melted zone and weld results in their various microhardness values, and leads to the smaller tensile strength and ductility in the ZM5 alloy weld joint than parent metal.

Perfluoropolyether greases are primarily consisted of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base oils and polytetrafluoro-ethylene( PTFE) thickeners. The strength of the binding force between PFPE and PTFE molecules is one of the key factors affecting the colloidal stability of perfluoropolyether greases. The special molecular structure of PFPE as well as PTFE determines the weak binding force between molecules, which effects on the colloidal stability of perfluoropolyether greases. In order to improve the colloidal stability of perfluoropolyether greases, hydrophobic fumed silica ( S1, S2, S3, S4 ) with large specific surface area was selected as additives, self-produced, low-viscosity, and branched PFPE was used as base oil, the PTFE powder was used as thickener, and a series of perfluoropolyether greases with different proportions were prepared. The analysis of XRD, SEM and TEM, the test of nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm, pore diagram distribution, surface free energy and oil separation from grease were used to investigate the improvement effect of hydrophobic fumed silica on the colloid stability of perfluoropolyether greases. Results show that hydrophobic fumed silica with mesoporous structure has good thickening ability, which improves the colloidal stability of perfluoropolyether grease. Additive S2 with the most specific surface area and pore volume has the most obvious effect on improving the colloidal stability of perfluoropolyether grea- ses. The oil separation of perfluoropolyether grease decreases with the increase of the addition amount of additive S2. Multi-parent advanced generation inter-cross (MAGIC) population became a new tool for genetic mapping and breeding in crops. To explore the potential application of MAGIC lines on rapeseed breeding, a population encompassing 680 lines was developed by crossing 8 elite parents. All lines advanced by single seed descent method. At F3 generation, several phenotypes including disease resistance, yield potential and plant architecture were investigated, and 204 of 680 lines were chosen to form a sub-population for further selection. At F6 generation, several main agronomic traits of 204 lines and 8 parents were collected. The traits included plant height, number of primary branch, effective length of main raceme, effective siliques of main raceme, silique length, seeds per silique, thousand seeds weight and plant yield. Results showed that variation of main agronomic traits in this population had normal distribution. Differences of 5 traits were significant comparing to their parental population. The 5 traits included number of primary branch, effective length of main raceme, silique length, seeds per silique and thousand seeds weight. It indicated that MAGIC population was the ideal substitute for elite lines selection by traditional method in rapeseed breeding. Seed yield and ecological adaptability were tested in 3 sites (Jingzhou, Gong'an, Yuxi) for 2 years. 9 elite lines were obtained with better resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, high yield and high quality performance. With the development of new materials and technology, it is more and more complex that the friction characteristics appear between contact surfaces, and the impact to various engineering products has become increasingly evident. In order to solve anisotropic friction problem in engineering, the affection of anisotropic friction to the object movement was analyzed using theory and numerical simulation methods. The motion law of translational objects in different anisotropic friction characteristics was studied. Moreover, the over-rotation of bushing structure in engineering was studied, the quantitative relationship of friction anisotropy orientation, size, velocity and acceleration of the objects were obtained and the optimal method of anisotropic friction characteristics and experimental verification were proposed. The results show that the relative movement of the structure would be seriously affected by anisotropic friction characteristics, however, the problem of over-rotation can be solved effectively by reducing the friction coefficient ratio. This article attempts to illuminate the development of the concept that life is similar to drama, and to analyze its interaction with Buddhist thought, especially that of the Ch'an school(...). Although many studies have been done on the connection between life and literature, they mostly focus on poetry or the theme of karmic retribution in novels. In this paper, I would like to emphasize that traditional Chinese values are deeply rooted in Buddhism. For example, we can find the beginnings of the "life as drama" concept in an early Chinese translation of Mahayana Buddhist sutras. From the late Tang dynasty through the Song, the masters of the Ch'an school used the medium of drama to explain their philosophical system, a practice that reached its full flowering during the late Ming and early Qing. Of course the influence of the "life as drama" concept corresponded to the flourishing of the theater. The masters of the Ch'an school were quite interested in this new art form, and made comments on drama which were similar to those of professional drama composers. Moreover, upon comparison with the comments of Confucians on drama, we find that the Ch'an masters adopted the new art form more enthusiastically than the common Confucians, with the exception of Wang Yangming (...). Ecosystem service assessment and prediction play a crucial role in sustainable regional development and resource management. Liaoning Province, as a typical representative of Northeast China, faces rapid development challenges such as urbanization, industrialization, and agricultural modernization. At the same time, there is an urgent need for a deeper understanding of the evolution trends of its ecosystems and their impact on ecosystem services. This study employed the InVEST-Markov-PLUS model to conduct simulated research on the assessment of past and future ecosystem services and multi-scenario predictions in Liaoning Province. Based on the land-use changes in Liaoning Province from 2000 to 2020, the InVEST model was used to evaluate the spatiotemporal variations in carbon storage, soil conservation, and water yield in the ecosystem services from 2000 to 2020. Additionally, the equivalent factor method was employed to calculate the value of ecosystem services in Liaoning Province during the same period. Furthermore, by integrating the PLUS and Markov models with the actual conditions of Liaoning Province, four land-use development scenarios for 2030 were constructed, including natural development, economic priority, ecological protection, and cropland protection. The land-use distribution and the quantities and values of ecosystem services under these scenarios were simulated. The study revealed the following findings： ① From 2000 to 2020, carbon storage and soil retention in Liaoning Province showed an overall increasing trend, whereas water yield exhibited a fluctuating decrease trend initially, followed by an increase and then another decrease. ② Carbon storage and soil retention in Liaoning Province showed higher values in the eastern mountainous areas and western hilly regions, with lower values in the central region. Water yield showed a decreasing trend from east to west. ③ The value of ecosystem services increased from 547.94 billion yuan to 565.53 billion yuan, with a total increase of 17.58 billion yuan during the study period. All four types of services showed an increase, with cultural services experiencing the fastest change. ④ In 2030, carbon storage and soil retention in Liaoning Province decreased in all scenarios except for in the ecological protection scenario. Water yield increased only in the cropland protection scenario, whereas it decreased in the other three scenarios. The value of ecosystem services in the study area increased in all scenarios except for in the economic priority scenario.

Objective: To investigate the clinical phenotype of a family with branchio-oto syndrome （BOS） and to explore the genetic etiology of the syndrome in this family. Methods: Clinical data were collected from a child diagnosed with BOS and his family members. Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood of the proband and his family members. Whole-exome sequencing was performed, and the mutation sites were verified and analyzed by Sanger sequencing. Results: The family consists of two generations with four members, three of whom exhibit the phenotype. Two members have hearing loss and bilateral preauricular fistulas and bilateral branchial cleft fistulas. One member has bilateral preauricular fistulas and bilateral branchial cleft fistulas. All of which were in line with the clinical diagnosis of gill ear syndrome, the inheritance mode of the family was autosomal dominant inheritance, genetic testing showed that all members of the family had c. 1744delC（p. L592Cfs*47） mutation in the EYA1 gene, while unaffected members have the wild-type allele at this locus. This mutation is a frameshift mutation, which results in the early appearance of the stop codon, and has not been reported so far. According to ACMG guidelines, the variant was preliminarily determined to be suspected pathogenic. Conclusion: The newly discovered EYA1c. 1744delC（p. Acute kidney injury (AKI) is caused by a variety of diseases, which leads to acute renal function decline, azotemia, water and electrolyte disorders and acid-base balance disorders. Metabolomics is a research method that can quantitatively analyze all metabolites in an organism and find the relative relationship between metabolites and physiological and pathological changes. In recent years, several metabolites screened based on metabolomics have been proposed as potential biomarkers to assess the early development and prognosis of AKI and for the discovery of unknown potential therapeutic targets. Based on metabolomics, this paper reviews the risk prediction, early diagnosis, disease monitoring, prognosis assessment and the application of corresponding drugs for AKI, so as to provide reference for precision medicine.

Objective: To re-evaluate the clinical efficacy of Longjintonglin Capsules (LJTL) in the treatment of chronic prostatitis with damp-heat stasis syndrome., Methods: This multicenter real-world study included 1 352 cases of chronic prostatitis with damp-heat and stagnation syndrome treated with LJTL (3 capsules once, tid, 30 minutes after meals, for 2 four-week courses) in addition to routine treatment. Before and after treatment, we analyzed the NIH-CPSI scores, the scores of Chinese medicine symptom quantitative classification and changes in individual symptom scores, and observed adverse reactions to medication., Results: The total effectiveness rate of LJTL was 93.64%. Compared with the baseline, the NIH-CPSI scores were significantly decreased after treatment (［24.27 ± 6.04］ vs ［8.17 ± 4.21］, P < 0.05), and so were the scores on the pain symptoms (［9.63 ± 3.65］ vs ［3.02 ± 2.23］, P < 0.05), voiding symptoms (［5.65 ± 2.15］ vs ［1.62 ± 1.36) and quality of life (［8.96 ± 2.32］ vs ［3.16 ± 1.89］, P < 0.05). The effectiveness rate of LJTL was 95.9% on the Chinese medicine symptom frequent urination, 90.4% on painful urination, and 91.4% scanty dark urine, with a total effectiveness rate of 82.4% － 95.9%, all with statistically significant difference in comparison with the baseline (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: Longjintonglin Capsules combined with routine treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of chronic prostatitis with damp-heat stasis syndrome, especially effective on the symptoms of frequent urination, painful urination and scanty dark urine. Besides, it recommendable for its antidepressant and antianxiety effects, and the effect of improving the quality of life of the chronic prostatitis patients with damp-heat stasis.

Background: Lung cancer has the highest mortality in China. Different treatments are of great significance to the prognosis of patients. By comparing stage Ia non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients' survival rates for ablation and for sub-lobectomy, we studied the difference in the effects of the two treatments on patient prognosis., Methods: Using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database, we screened eligible patients with stage Ia NSCLC from January 2004 to December 2015. Then, 228 patients treated with ablation and 228 patients treated with sub-lobotomy were then selected based on propensity score matching. After stratification, matching, and adjustment the Kaplan-Meier analysis was performed to compare the overall survival rates of patients treated with the two procedures., Results: The Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that there is a significant difference between the ablation group and the sub-lobectomy group (P<0.05). In the univarlable analysis, the hazard ratio (HR) of sub-lobotomy group was 0.571 (95%CI: 0.455-0.717) compared with the ablation group. Patients treated with sub-lobectomy had a 0.571 times greater risk of adverse outcomes than those treated with ablation. In the multivariable analysis, the HR for sub-lobectomy group was 0.605 (95%CI: 0.477-0.766) compared with the ablation group. Patients treated with sub-lobectomy had a 0.605 time greater risk of adverse outcomes than those treated with ablation. The results suggested that the overall survival rate of patients with stage Ia NSCLC treated with sub-lobotomy was higher than that of patients treated with ablation., Conclusions: This study suggests that there is a significant difference in overall survival of stage Ia NSCLC patients treated with ablation and with sub-lobotomy. Patients treated with sub-lobotomy for stage Ia NSCLC had higher overall survival than those treated with ablation.

Diagnostic absorption features can indicate the existence of specific materials, which is the foundation of mineral analysis with optical remote sensing data. In hyperspectral data processing, the most commonly used method to extract absorption feature, is Continuum Removal (CR). As for multispectral data, Principle Component Analysis and other indirect methods were used to extract absorption information, and little research has been done on full-band absorption feature extraction. Classification of similar minerals is one of the major difficulties in mineral spectral analysis, while there is no valid index for spectral difference between similar mineral groups. Absorption feature extraction may improve the classification accuracy, but there is no research to investigate the impact of absorption feature extraction on spectral difference between similar minerals. This paper summarized the principle of mineral spectral difference, and proposed the concept of Class Separability Ratio (CSR), which was verified to be a valid index for spectral difference between similar mineral categories. Through comparison experiments on alunite and kaolinite spectra, including USGS spectral library spectra and resampled spectra in accordance with the band settings of HYPERION, ASTER and OLI, the impact of absorption feature extraction on spectral difference between similar minerals were investigated. Experimental results show that valid absorption feature extraction can greatly enhance the spectral difference between similar minerals, and the spectral difference is positively correlated with spectral resolution. Besides, the results of CR can be severely affected by spectral resolution and band center positions, and the absorption feature spectra extraction results for multispectral datasets need to be improved. This research laid the foundation of precise identification between similar mineral categories, and provided valuable reference for the band settings of future geology remote sensing sensors.

The currently adopted staging system for lung cancer is the seventh edition of the TNM staging edited by Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in January, 2009. In recent years, with the advances of techniques in lung cancer diagnosis and the treatment trends towards precision treatment modalities such as individualized therapy and molecular targeted therapy, the survival and prognosis of lung cancer has been significantly improved. The old staging standard is difficult to satisfy the currentrapidly developing clinical needs. Therefore, the International Lung Cancer Research Society (International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, IASLC) updated the stage of lung cancer in 2015, and the forthcoming eighth edition of the TNM Classification for Lung Cancer, which will be formally adopted in Jan. 2017, has been published in Journal of Thoracic Oncology. The new staging system has adopted 35 databases from 16 countries, including 94,708 cases treated between 1999 and 2010. The advantages of the new staging lies in its higher prognosis prediction and clinical guidance value.

Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy and advantage of minimally invasive esophagectomy for surgical treatment of submucosal esophageal cancer compared to conventional open procedure., Methods: Clinical data of consecutive 168 patients with stage T1b submucosal esophageal cancer undergoing minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE, esophagectomy by thoracoscope, stomach freeing by laparoscope or open abdomen, cervical esophagogastric anastomosis) or conventional open esophagectomy (OE) at the Shanghai Chest Hospital between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2014 were reviewed retrospectively. Intraoperative and postoperative information was compared between the two groups., Results: Both groups were equally stratified by sex, body mass index and age. No patient of MIE group was transferred to open operation. As compared to the OE group, the MIE group had significantly more harvest lymph nodes (median 12 vs. median 9, P=0.004), lower rate of postoperative pneumonia [5.8% (4/69) vs. 21.2% (21/99), P=0.011] and pleural effusion [8.7% (6/69) vs. 23.2% (23/99), P=0.027], and shorter hospital stay (median 11 d vs. median 14 d, P=0.041), but positive margin was found in 1 case. There were no significant differences of respiratory failure, pneumothorax, atrial arrhythmia, pulmonary embolism, recurrent nerve palsy, anastomotic leak, reoperations and 30-day mortality between the two groups. Multivariate logistic analysis revealed recurrent nerve palsy, anastomotic leak and surgical approach were found to be the main factors of hospital stay within postoperative 12 days, while leakage when the in-hospital time more than 12 days. Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the surgical approach was the independent factor of hospital stay, MIE could shorten the hospital stay (P=0.013)., Conclusion: MIE should be considered as the standard approach in the treatment of T1b submucosal esophageal cancer.

Objective: To comprehensively analyze the recent advancements in the field of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) aging, and summary its achievements and its difficulty at the present., Methods: The literature about MSCs aging was reviewed and analyzed., Results: Inducible telomerase reactivation of MSCs is successful to extend the life span of senescent cells, but it also has potential safety hazard. The age range presented in the research of age-related cell senescence is inconsistent, resulting in different outcomes. Many ways to improve cell in vitro culture conditions will help delay aging. Recent research indicates that oxidative stress theory is seemed to not completely explain cell aging., Conclusion: Further research of MSCs aging mechanism will help the tissue engineering transform to clinical application.

Pulmonary benign metastasizing leiomyoma (PBML) is a rare and often to be misdiagnosed disease. In this study, we want to investigate the diseased of the clinicopathological characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. The retrospective analysis were performed on the clinicopathological data of 5 patients with PBML. All 5 cases were female, mean age 46.8 years old, and were found with single nodule. One case was found with left kidney metastasis. Surgical procedures includes: VATS biopsy (3 cases), resection of superior lobe of left lung (1 case), resection of superior lobe of right lung and wedge resection of middle and inferior lobe of right lung (1 case). The residual nodules in lung were stable in all cases with followup 3-48 mo. PBML is dominated occurring in females with history of uterine leiomyoma, preferential to metastasize to lung, and surgery is the primary therapy. Since it is hormone dependent, hormonal therapy may be suggested in these patients.

Objective: To analyze the data of patients with clinical stage T1a lung adenocarcinoma and find the predictive factors associated with lymph node metastasis., Methods: From January to June 2012, 271 patients with small nodules of peripheral lung adenocarcinoma were enrolled in the retrospective review. There were 105 male and 112 female patients, with an average age of (61 ± 11)years (range 32-85 years). The data were collected including age, gender, smoking history, carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA), imaging findings, surgical procedure, pleural involvement, symptoms, tumor size, pathological classification, pathologic stage, maximum standardized uptake value(SUVmax) and lymph node metastasis. The predictive factors of lymph node metastasis in clinical factors were detected by univariate and multivariate analysis., Results: By preoperative thin-section CT, 35 patients were categorized as pure ground-grass opacity(GGO), 11 cases of atypical adenomatous hyperplasia, 24 cases of adenocarcinoma in situ, with no lymph node metastasis. Categorized as mixed ground-glass opacities in 89 patients, 84 patients (94.4%) had no lymph node metastasis, only 5 patients (6.0%) with lymph node metastasis. Categorized as solid nodules in 93 patients, a total of 28 cases (30.1%) had lymph node metastasis. There were statistically significant difference between three groups (χ(2) = 23.41, P < 0.001) . By univariate analysis, we found that the predictive factors of lymph node metastasis were as follows: tumor size > 1 cm (χ(2) = 9.021, P < 0.003) , imaging performance with mixed GGO or solid nodules (χ(2) = 23.41, P < 0.000) , CEA > 5 µg/L (χ(2) = 15.541, P < 0.000) and PET-CT SUVmax > 5 (χ(2) = 0.644, P < 0.000). By multivariate analysis, we found that imaging performance (mixed GGO or solid nodules) was the independent predictor of lymph node metastasis in clinical factors (OR = 166.116, 95%CI:18.161-25.19, P < 0.001) ., Conclusions: Patients of pure GGO generally do not have lymph node metastasis. Tumor diameter > 1 cm, imaging findings with the mixed GGO or solid nodules, carcinoembryonic antigen CEA > 5 µg/L, PET-CT SUVmax > 5 are predictive factors of lymph node metastasis in which imaging is independent predictor.

Objective: To review the methods involved in airway management of tracheal surgery and to consider the role of extracorporeal circulation., Methods: A total of 91 tracheal surgeries were performed from January 2008 to February 2012, including 60 cases of tumor, 8 cases of post-traumatic stenosis and 23 cases of post-tracheostomy stenosis. There were 76 male and 15 female patients, aged from 4 to 77 years. Anesthetic plans were made according to the severity and position of stenosis. Rapid sequent induction intubations were conducted on 56 patients, tracheostomy intubations on 25 patients, awake intubations on 3 patients, extracorporeal circulation on 6 patients and emergent sternotmy and tracheostomy on 1 patient. Miniature extracorporeal circulation systems were used in all extracorporeal circulation case., Results: All patients discharged without major complications. There were 2 cases of massive bleeding during operations, 1 case of post-operative tracheal fistula and 1 case of post-operative incision infection. All these 4 cases were treated properly and got cured. One patient on whom extracorporeal circulation was unable to set up underwent 6 minutes of hypoxia before sterotomy and tracheostomy. All the extracorporeal circulation cases were hemodynamically stable during bypass and none of them need massive transfusion. The miniature extracorporeal circulation system was convenient to use and especially suitable for tracheal surgery., Conclusions: Various advanced anesthesia techniques can ensure a safe airway for most tracheal surgeries. However, extracorporeal circulation plays a major role in high risk cases. It is important to set up a miniature extracorporeal circulation circuit that is especially suitable for tracheal surgery.

Objective: To measure anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), combined with ACL half quantitative measurement magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method as the contrast, and to preliminarily investigate the feasibility of DTI for ACL., Methods: The ACLs of 31 healthy volunteers were scanned with ordinary MRI and DTI. At ordinary MRI map, sagittal ACL-tibial angle, coronal ACL-tibial angle, Blumensaat line-ACL angle, angle of inclination of the intercondylar roof, and ACL-tibial insertion site were measured. As for DTI analysis of ACL, ACL was divide to 5 portions, namely 1(st), 2(nd), 3(rd), 4(th), 5(th), and all fractional anisotropy (FA) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values of every portion were recorded and repeated., Results: The sagittal ACL-tibial angle, coronal ACL-tibial angle, Blumensaat line-ACL angle, angle of inclination of the intercondylar roof, and ACL-tibial insertion site were 53.00°±2.46°, 52.42°±5.15°, 12.67°±5.71°, 39.41°±2.64°, (24.90±2.84)%, respectively. FA values of different portions were 0.611±0.042, 0. 618±0.051, 0.596±0.045, 0.566±0.059, and 0.497±0.072. ADC values of 1(st)-5(th) portion were (1.068±0.216), (1.128±0.268), (1.189±0.197), (1.455±0.423), and (1.779±0.384)× 10(-3) mm(2)/s. The correlation coefficient of sagittal ACL-tibial angle and the FA value of 2(nd) and 3(rd) portion was -0.568 and -0.429. The correlation coefficient of Blumensaat line-ACL angle and the FA value of 1(st) and 4(th) portion was -0.507 and -0.633. The correlation coefficient of ACL-tibial insertion site and the FA value of 4(th) portion was -0.593, all with statistical significance. FA and ADC values of all portions in both team's ACL didn't have significant difference (P>0.05), but had obvious correlation., Conclusion: DTI can be used to effectively evaluate the orientation and connection of ACL, having good contrast virtue with ACL half quantitative MRI measurement. It may provide more profound ACL information for clinicians, and it is of great significance for the further research and large sample data base of ACL pathology.

Objective: To explore the sustainable development control strategies on soil-transmitted parasitic diseases appropriate to current epidemic characteristics so as to effectively reduce the epidemic level and harm to people in Shandong Province., Methods: This project was led by the Shandong Medical Department, governed and instructed by the Shandong Institute of Parasitic Diseases, concretely implemented by the centers for disease control and prevention in counties or cities. All the work was carried out according to the Control Programming of National Key Parasitic Diseases, and with the combination of routine and key control strategies according to the actual situation., Results: The average infection rate of soil-transmitted parasitic diseases in Shandong Province was 18.26% in 2003. During the 2007 to 2009 period, 3,115,194 people from 74 counties in 9 cities received anthelmintic medicine. The numbers receiving health education were 39 866 923 in county, 34,730,663 in city, 3,2000 in province, respectively. The coverage rate of non-hazardous sanitary latrines was 58.05%. In 2009, 6,581 people were surveyed from 7 counties or cities and the infection rate of soil-transmitted parasitic diseases was 7.61%. During three years, 30 provincial training classes were held and 2,130 people attended, 52 municipal classes were held and 3110 people attended, and 403 county classes were held and 12,789 people attended. In the whole province, the infection rate of soil-transmitted parasitic diseases reduced to 7.10% in 2009, with the reduction rate of 61.12%, reaching the national objective., Conclusions: The comprehensive control model for soil-transmitted parasitic diseases is very successful in Shandong Province.

PNS (Panax notoginseng saponins) is the main medical bioactive component in Panax notoginseng. The medical value of PNS cannot be extended because of its low production. With the deep study of saponins biosynthetic pathway, the control of PNS biosynthesis through metabolic engineering has gradually become possible. In this study, the Squalene synthase (SS) over-expression vector was established. By the way of agrobacterium-mediated method, the vector was transfered and integrated into the Panax notoginseng genome. The result of the PCR detection and the saponin content detection shows that over-expression SS is able to produce high level of Panax notoginseng saponins, and confirms the regulatory function of SS in the biosynthesis of ginsenosides in Panax notoginseng. It provides a theoretical basis and technical basis for the construction of PNS homologous or heterologous efficient expression system in the future.

The precise analysis of mineral abundance is a key difficulty in hyperspectral remote sensing research. In the present paper, based on linear spectral mixture model, the derivative of ratio spectroscopy (DRS) was introduced for spectral unmixing of visible to short-wave infrared (Vis-SWIR; 0.4 - 2.5 microm) reflectance data. The mixtures of different proportions of plaster and allochite were analyzed to estimate the accuracy of the spectral unmixing model based on DRS. For the best 5 strong linear bands, the Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) of the abundances and the actual abundances were higher than 99.9%, while the root mean square error (RMSE) is less than 2.2%. The result shows that the new spectral unmixing model based on DRS is simple, of rigorous mathematical proof, and highly precise. It has a great potential in high-precision quantitative analysis of spectral mixture with fixed endmembers.

Background and Objective: Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide. Thus far, good tumor markers for diagnosing this disease have not been found. Therefore, the discovery of novel biomarkers through the application of new methods has become a hotspot in lung cancer research. The aim of this study is to analyze low-molecular-weight metabolites in the serum and urine samples of lung cancer patients and patients with other lung diseases through metabolomics and to explore potential tumor markers further., Methods: Both serum and urine samples from 19 lung cancer patients and 15 patients with other lung diseases were subjected to metabolomic analysis using gas chromatography mass spectrometry. Orthogonal to partial least squares discriminant analysis was performed for modeling. Two sample t-test was used to identify differences in metabolite concentrations., Results: A total of 57 metabolites were found in the serum, and 38 metabolites were found in the urine. Multivariate statistical analysis yielded a significant distinction in the metabolic profiles between lung cancer patients and patients with other lung diseases. The t-test results indicated a total of 13 metabolites in the serum and 7 metabolites in the urine with statistically significant differences., Conclusions: Metabolomics is useful in discriminating between lung cancer and other lung diseases. As a novel approach, it has potential in the diagnosis of lung cancer at molecular level.

Three major water-soluble anions (Cl-, SO4(2-) and NO3-) in the atmosphere of the Tianwan nuclear power station in Lianyungang were determined by ion chromatography from June 2005 to May 2006. The results showed that the annual average concentration of Cl-, SO4(2-) and NO3- in the atmosphere of Tianwan nuclear power station was (33.12 +/- 53.63) microg x m(-3), (53.34 +/- 30.34) microg x m(-3) and (8.34 +/- 4.47) microg x m(-3), respectively. The concentrations of the three water-soluble anions showed evident trend of seasonal variation. The concentrations of Cl-, SO4(2-) reached the highest level in summer and the lowest level in winter, while the concentration of NO3- in autumn and winter was higher than those in summer and spring. Meteorological parameters such as wind direction, wind speed, temperature and relative humidity were studied and showed definite influence to the anions concentration of the atmosphere. This is the first simultaneous monitoring of corrosive anions in the atmosphere of Chinese coastal nuclear power plant, and it will provide basis for the prevention of marine atmospheric corrosion, which will ensure the safely operating of our nuclear power industry.

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic yield and the safety of endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle biopsy (EBUS-TBNA) in mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes and lung tumors., Methods: EBUS-TBNA was performed in 70 patients with thoracic masses or mediastinal-hilar lymphoadenopathy proved by CT scan., Results: From July 2009 to January 2010, 70 patients were included in the study. EBUS-guided TBNA was performed to obtain samples from mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes (120 stations) and lung tumors (11 masses). In 46 cases of newly diagnosed lung cancer, 44 were confirmed by EBUS-TBNA without on site cytology assistance, with 2 false negative cases. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of EBUS-TBNA in the diagnosis of lung cancer were 96%, 100%, 100%, 92% and 97% respectively. Non-caseous granuloma formed by epithelioid cells was found in EBUS-TBNA histological specimen from 5 out of 10 patients with clinically diagnosed sarcoidosis. TBNA cytological smear showed acid-fast bacilli and histology of the lymph node demonstrated coagulatory necrosis from 1 out of 4 tuberculous cases. The procedure was uneventful, and there were no complications., Conclusion: EBUS-TBNA is an effective and safe method for the diagnosis of bronchogenic carcinoma and unknown mediastinal-hilar lymphadenopathy.

A new method based on high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization time of flight-mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-TOF/MS) was developed for the rapid identification of active compounds in Styela clava and the development of its specific chromatograms. Samples were extracted by ultrasonic-assisted extraction, and the extraction conditions were optimized. The developed HPLC-ESI-TOF/MS method was used to identify the components in Styela clava extract, and a specific chromatogram based on HPLC analysis was established. Ten compounds in Styela clava extract have been primary identified by HPLC-ESI-TOF/MS on-line detection combined with literature review. The result of similarity evaluation for specific chromatograms indicated that the quality of different Styela clava samples was not entirely consistent. This method has the advantages of simple operation, rapid measurement and it is a powerful tool for identification of active components in Styela clava and its quality control.
