Objective. The aim of this paper is to gain insight into changes in information needs and habits of users of the online reference service Ask the Librarians provided by Croatian public libraries since 2004. Methodology. Based on the research of Jagoda Ille and Helena Novak and the analysis of user information queries in the fi rst four years of service implementation from 2004 to 2008, an analysis of posted information inquiries was conducted from 2018 to 2022. By using the same methodology and time frame, the aim was to enable a comparative analysis of the obtained data regarding users' level of education, the number and type of information inquiries (divided into four categories: requests for direction, quick or factual information, bibliographic information and other inquiries), user satisfaction and the number of librarians involved in the service. Results. The research results for the period from 2018 to 2022 indicated a higher number of posted inquiries, a change in the educational structure of users and a change in the type of inquiries compared to the fi rst four years of service implementation from 2004 to 2008, as well as a constant increase in the number of librarians involved in the online reference service Ask the Librarians. Originality/Value. The value of the research lies in detecting changes in information inquiries and new information needs of users of the Croatian public libraries' online reference service Ask the Librarians, available to users since 2004. U ovom radu analizirani su hrvatski i slovenski udžbenici povijesti koji su korišteni u osnovnim školama u razdoblju od 1997. do 2022. godine. Udžbenici su analizirani prema metodi komparativne analize, a takvom analizom utvrdit će se temeljne sličnosti i razlike između hrvatskih i slovenskih udžbenika, kao i udžbenika koji su se koristili u pojedinoj državi. Koristio sam pet hrvatskih i četiri slovenska udžbenika povijesti. Poglavlja koja su analizirana u diplomskom radu povezana su sa osnivanjem i ulogom partizanskog pokreta u Hrvatskoj i Sloveniji tijekom razdoblja između 1941. i 1945. U radu će također biti prikazane političke osobe koje se spominju u udžbenicima povijesti s fokusom na djelovanje Josipa Broza Tita u partizanskom pokretu, a usporedno će biti prikazan i vizualni materijal unutar udžbenika povijesti. U radu ću se također osvrnuti na promjene u udžbenicima povijesti koje su tijekom tri desetljeća koristile različite generacije hrvatskih i slovenskih učenika. The subject of this paper is how is the partisan movement in Yugoslavia presented in Croatian and Slovenian history textbooks for eight and ninth grade of primary school. In my paper I have analysed history textbooks from the 1990s and 2000s. and I have also analysed newest textbooks which are currently in use in Croatian and Slovenian schools and are approved by the ministry. There are 5 Croatian and 4 Slovenian textbooks. The aim of this paper is to determine how is the partisan movement in Yugoslavia presented in Croatian and Slovenian history textbooks, what is similar and what is different between the different textbooks in each country, between the Croatian and Slovenian textbooks and between the older and newer generation of textbooks. The methodology of this paper is based on a comparative analysis of textbooks. The chapters analyzed in the thesis are related to the establishment and role of the partisan movement in Croatia and Slovenia during the period between 1941 and 1945. The paper will also present political figures mentioned in history textbooks with a focus on Josip Broz Tito's activities in the partisan movement. movement. Visual material from history textbooks will also be shown in comparison. In the paper, I will also look at the changes in the history textbooks used by different generations of Croatian and Slovenian students over the course of three decades.

In European countries' pedagogical-educational systems physical education is present as a class that is supposed to contribute to integral personality development. Physical education classes are still the most organized mass system for engaging kids and young people in physical activities, through which certain influence on the organism is made. For a long sequence of years there are indications of certain changes in physical education classes as part of educational reforms in countries undergoing transition. Therefore there is possibility for innovation, improvement and further perfection of existing physical education classes syllabi in accordance with the needs of students and the society. Until now syllabi have been improved, changed and then applied without taking into account elements of physical education syllabi based on the quality analysis. In this paper comparative analysis of physical education syllabus for junior school age was performed for the following countries: England, Russia, Greece, Switzerland, Montenegro and Serbia. The following was analyzed and compared: physical education's goal and tasks, educational contents, number of physical education classes in the syllabus, method of syllabus realization as well as working forms through which physical education syllabi are realized. Through this analysis gave a conclusion was reached that the similarities and differences of existing syllabi can ease the reformation of physical education in the future, in case a societal need for that arises. Cilj ovog rada je dobiti uvid u razlike učenja osnovnih koncepata programiranja u odnosu na prethodno učenje kroz osnovnu i/ili srednju školu. Ispitani su stavovi studenata o početnom učenju programiranja, mogućim zaostacima obzirom na kolege koje su prethodno učili programiranje te samo zalaganje studenata na kolegiju Programiranje 1. Svrha istraživanja bila je prikupljenim informacijama ponuditi moguća rješenja za uspješnije shvaćanje osnovnih koncepata studentima koji se nisu tijekom ranijeg školovanja susretali s programiranjem. Stavovi studenata po pitanju „olakšanja“ studentima koji nisu prethodno učili programiranje i prikladnoj dobi za učenje se razlikuju, jednima nije bilo potrebno prethodno predznanje za savladavanje gradiva na kolegiju Programiranje 1, drugi pak smatraju da su bili u zaostatku naspram drugih kolega koji su prethodno se susretali s osnovnim principima programiranja. Također, u radu su obrađeni programski jezici prikladni za poučavanje programiranja, komparativna analiza istih, mogući problemi programera početnika te druge teme vezane uz poučavanje programiranja., The aim of this paper is to gain differences in learning basic programming concepts in relation to previous learning through primary and / or secondary school. Student’s point of view about the initial learning of programming, possible lags in relation to colleagues who previously studied programming, also the commitment of students to the course Programming 1 was researched. The purpose of the research was to gather information to offer possible solutions for a more successful understanding of basic concepts to students who did not encounter programming during their previous education. The issue of “alleviation” for students who have not previously studied programming and the appropriate age for learning varies from student to student, some did not need prior knowledge to master the material in the course Programming 1, while others believe that they were struggling unlike colleagues who previously encountered the basic principles of programming. Also, the paper deals with programming languages suitable for teaching programming, their comparative analysis, possible problems of beginner programmers and other topics related to teaching programming.

17. PRIMJENA OBJEDINJENOG IZDANJA ISBD-a NA OPIS STARE KNJIGE U ODNOSU NA SPECIJALIZIRANI STANDARD ISBD(A).

- Abstract
The goal of this paper is to analyze the ISBD consolidated edition and compare it to the specialized standard ISBD(A) in order to determine how the characteristics of rare books are treated in both standard's stipulations and whether the changes brought by the consolidated ISBD contribute significantly to the development of bibliographic description of rare books. The analysis was carried out using a methodology of comparative analysis and table of concordance as a research instrument. The results have shown differences in the treatment of rare books characteristics between the consolidated ISBD and the specialized standard ISBD(A). Although specific characteristics of rare books appear in all areas of bibliographic description used for rare books, they are most evident in the general section, the title and statement of responsibility area, the publication, production and distribution area and the material description area. The changes that should be considered, especially in composing a new Croatian national cataloguing code, are noticed in all areas of bibliographic description. Also, some changes that significantly improve the bibliographic description of rare books have been observed, such as consistent recording of all copy specific information in the notes area. Kako u današnje vrijeme globalizacija napreduje iz dana u dan, tako je i potreba za prevoditeljskim uslugama sve veća, a posljedica je to razvoja komunikacijsko-informacijskih tehnologija te gospodarskih i političkih udruživanja. Prevođenje možemo definirati kao prenošenje sadržaja iz jednog medija u drugi, dok se za to služimo raznim tumačima, alatima za strojno prevođenje, ljudskim prevođenjem i sl. Kad uspoređujemo strojno i ljudsko prevođenje, što je danas neizostavna tema, može se reći kako je strojno prevođenje u prednosti radi svoje brzine i manjih troškova, a ljudskom prevođenju u korist ide mogućnost prenošenja potpune i jasne slike, odnosno poruke koju tekst nosi, a razlog je tomu što ljudsko prevođenje nije doslovno kao strojno. U ovom je radu objašnjeno strojno prevođenje, definirani su njegova svrha i značenje te je usporedno analizirano strojno i ljudsko prevođenje. Tako su za ovaj rad odabrana tri različita prijevoda. Jedan prijevod izvornika načinio je student, zatim strojni prevoditelj te na kraju i sam stručnjak - profesor engleskog jezika. Bilo je potrebno analizirati 15 rečenica koje su izvedene iz izvornika te na osnovu njih napraviti usporedbu među prijevodima. Došli smo do zaključka kako je najkorektniji prijevod bio onaj koji je načinio stručnjak. Razlog tomu jest što za prevođenje nije dostatno poznavanje leksičkih razina dvaju jezičnih sustava, nego i uvažavanje morfoloških, sintaktičkih, semantičkih, frazeoloških, kulturnih i drugih razina dvaju jezičnih sustava te adekvatan odabir prilikom polisemije uz uvažavanje konteksta i registra, što je alatu za strojno prevođenje još uvijek težak zadatak. Globalization's daily progress is mirrored in the ever-increasing demand of translation services. The reason for that is in the development of information and communication technologies, economy and political associations. Translation can be defined as a transfer of content from one media to another making us use various interpreters, like machine translation tools, human translators, etc. Comparing machine and human translation, which is an indispensable topic these days, it can be said that machine translation has more advantages in terms of speed and lower translation costs. On the other hand, the advantage of human translation is the ability to transfer a complete and clear picture regarding the content message. This is because human translation is not literal like machine translation. This paper elaborates on machine translation, defines its purpose and meaning, and compares and analyzes machine and human translation. For this purpose of this paper, three different types of translations were selected. One translation was done by a student (author of the original abstract), one by a machine translation tool and last one by an expert in the English language. 15 selected sentences were analyzed and compared upon which the conclusion about the most appropriate translation being done by the expert was drawn. In order to translate appropriately, linguistic knowledge of two languages is not sufficient; rather, one needs to have morphological, syntatic, semantic, phraseologicala and cultural knowledge. Also, it is essential to make the right choices in cases of polysemy by taking the context and register into account, which is still a very difficult task for a machine translation tool.

Nautički turizam predstavlja jedan od najznačajnijih proizvoda u turističkoj ponudi republike Hrvatske trenutno. Shodno tome, ovaj rad na temelju komparativne analize proučava stanje nautičkog turizma u Hrvatskoj, usporeĎujući ga s njezinim glavnim konkurentima. Na temelju tih istraţivanja, ali i analize aktualnih trendova, u radu se nudi detaljno razraĎeni poslovni plan konkurentnog i uspješnog „charter“ poduzeća. Nautical tourism is currently one of the most significant commodities in Croatia's tourist offer. This paper, based on a comparative analysis, studies the current situation of Croatian nautical tourism comparing it to its major competitors. Donošenjem Zakona o životnom partnerstvu osoba istoga spola iz 2014. godine istospolni partneri ušli su u krug zakonskih nasljednika. Time je napravljen znatan iskorak u odnosu na prijašnju regulaciju prava na nasljeđivanje istospolnih partnera koji su dotad potencijalno nasljeđivali isključivo na temelju oporuke. U ovome radu promotrit će se, kako s teorijskog tako i s praktičnog aspekta, pozitivan odmak u priznavanju i izjednačavanju prava istospolnih zajednica u odnosu na heteroseksualne zajednice, a s naglaskom na pravnu podlogu nasljeđivanja u takvim zajednicama. Polaznu točku za istraživanje ovoga rada predstavljaju pozitivni pravni propisi koji su na snazi u Republici Hrvatskoj. Daljnja razrada obuhvaća i komparativnu analizu pravnih sustava ostalih europskih zemalja kako bi se promotrilo i utvrdilo je li u proteklih pet godina napravljena kakva relevantna novela kojom bi položaj istospolnih partnera bio što manje diskriminatoran, u odnosu na položaj bračnog, odnosno izvanbračnog druga i njihovih potomaka. Možebitna progresija koja je uspostavljena u Republici Hrvatskoj (potencijalno i u ostalim promatranim europskim državama) posljedica je tendencije promjena koje nameću visoko razvijene zemlje., By adopting the Registered Partnership Act referring to same-sex couples in 2014, same-sex partners entered the circle of intestate heirs. This is a step forward compared to the previous regulation of inheritance rights, by which same-sex partners could potentially inherit only on the basis of a will. In this paper, a positive outcome in the recognition and equalization of the rights of same-sex couples in relation to heterosexual couples will be observed from both theoretical and practical aspects, with emphasis placed on legal background of inheritance in such unions. Positive laws that are in force in the Republic of Croatia present the starting point for research in this paper. Further elaboration also includes comparative analysis of legal systems of other European countries aimed at considering and determining if there have been any significant novelties in the past five years that would place same-sex partners in a less discriminatory position in relation to the spouses or cohabitants and their descendants. Eventual progression set up in the Republic of Croatia (possibly also in other European countries observed) is a consequence of a tendency to make changes imposed by highly developed countries.

S razvojem tehnologija i osuvremenjivanjem tržišta može se zamijetiti da u ukupnoj strukturi prometa globalnih marketinških poduzeća sve veći udio zauzimaju prihodi ostvareni od digitalnog oglašavanja. Potaknuti navedenim u radu je postavljen cilj istražiti da li za marketinška poduzeća koja posluju u Republici Hrvatskoj vrijedi to isto. Osim toga, u radu se provela financijska analiza kako bi se utvrdila financijska stabilnost i uspješnost najuspješnijih marketinških poduzeća. Kako bi se navedeni cilj postigao na Internet stranici Hrvatske gospodarske komore u Registru poslovnih subjekata, prema unaprijed zadanim kriterijima, odabran je uzorak od deset najuspješnijih marketinških poduzeća, za koje je potom provedena financijska analiza. Uzorak ovog istraživanja čine poduzeća čija glavna djelatnost, sukladno Nacionalnoj klasifikaciji djelatnosti (NKD 2007) pripada u područje M, konkretnije u odjeljak M 73 - Promidžba (reklama i propaganda) i istraživanje tržišta, a odabrana su poduzeća s najvećim ostvarenim prihodima u 2016. godini. U radu je kompariran promet, imovina i izvori imovine najuspješnijih marketinških poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj, te su izračunati financijski pokazatelji. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da u strukturi ukupnih prihoda, marketinških lidera u Republici Hrvatskoj, još uvijek dominiraju prihodi koji su ostvareni temeljem oglašavanja u primarnim komunikacijskim kanalima. Prihodi ostvareni od digitalnog oglašavanja još uvijek nisu toliko značajni u ukupnoj strukturi prometa. Uvidom u bilance marketinških poduzeća, odabranih u uzorak, utvrđeno je da u njihovim aktivama dominira kratkotrajna imovina, pretežno potraživanja, a u pasivama kratkoročne obveze koje se u najvećoj mjeri odnose na obveze prema dobavljačima. Sva poduzeća iz uzorka, izuzev jednog, likvidno posluju, a financiraju se većinom zaduživanjem. Iako sva promatrana poduzeća ekonomično posluju, odnosno ostvaruju prihode veće od troškova, zamjetno je da većina njih postiže niske marže profita. Zbog toga može se zaključiti da promatrana poduzeća trebaju ulagati velike napore kako bi se izdvojila od konkurenata i time si osigurala opstanak na tržištu., With the technology development and the modernization of the market it can be noticed that in the revenues structure of global marketing companies an increasing share of revenues is generated by digital advertising. The aim of this paper is to investigate whether the same fact is valid for the marketing companies which operate in Croatia. In addition, financial analysis is carried out to determine the financial stability of the most successful marketing companies. In order to achieve this aim, a sample of ten most successful marketing companies was selected according to predefined criteria from the Register of Business Entities on the website of Croatian Chamber of Economy, for which a financial analysis is then carried out. A sample of this survey is made up of companies with the highest earnings in 2016 and companies whose main activity, according to the National Classification of Activities (NACE Provisions 2007), belongs to M, more specifically in section M 73 - Advertising and Market Research. In the paper the revenues, assets and sources of assets are compared, and financial ratios are calculated for the most successful marketing companies in Croatia. The results show that in the structure of total revenues still dominate revenues that are generated through advertising in the primary communication channels. Revenues generated from digital advertising are still not so significant in the structure of total revenues. Insight into the balance sheets of selected marketing companies shows that among assets dominate shortterm assets, mainly receivables, and among liabilities dominate short-term liabilities, predominantly payables. All except one of the companies in the sample are liquid, and all of them finance their operations mostly by loans. Although all observed companies efficiently operate, it is noticeable that most of them have low profit margins. Therefore, it can be concluded that observed companies need to put a lot of effort in separating themselves from competitors, thus securing market survival.

Glavni cilj istraţivanja ovog diplomskog rada je bio ispitati prakse mreţa i umreţavanja izmeĊu organizacija i poduzeća u turizmu u dvije razliĉite turistiĉke destinacije, Splitu i Sevilli. Rad se sastoji od teoretskih dijelova gdje je cilj bio objasniti turistiĉku destinaciju kao lokalni proizvodni sustav i opisati fenomen umreţavanja kao novi model poslovne suradnje. Nadalje, dvije destinacije su analizirane prema njihovoj trenutnoj turistiĉkoj ponudi te je obavljeno empirijsko testiranje kako bi se ispitale prakse umreţavanja, odnosno uvidjele sliĉnosti i razliĉitosti u postojanosti mreţa i njihovoj institucionalnoj podršci te stavovima prema umreţavanju. Hipotetska pretpostavka je bila da je umreţavanje razvijenije u destinaciji u kojoj je i turizam na većem stupnju razvijenosti, u ovom sluĉaju Sevilli. Nakon empirijskog testiranja zakljuĉak 74 je donesen da veći nivo razvijenosti turizma ne mora nuţno znaĉiti i veće prakticiranje koncepta umreţavanja. Rad, generalno, pridonosi istraţivanju i usporedbi koncepta umreţavanja u dvije razliĉite turistiĉke destinacije. The aim of this final thesis research was to investigate practice of networks and networking between organizations and enterprises that operate in tourism industry in two different tourism destinations, Split and Seville. The paper consists of teorethical parts where focus was to explain tourism destination as a local production system and describe fenomenon of networking as a new business cooperation model. Further on, two destinations were analysed by their current touristic offer and empirical testing was carried out in order to examine the practice of networking and notice similarities or differences within existance of networks and institutional support and attitudes toward networking. Hypothetical assumption was that networking is more developed in destination that has higher level of tourism development, in this case Seville. After empirical testing of results, the conclusion was that higher development of tourism doesn't come along with higher pratice of networking. In general, paper contributes to the research and comparation of networking in two different tourism destinations.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada odnosi se na statističku analizu utjecaja obrazovanja na konkurentnost radne snage u Republici Hrvatskoj. Obrazovanje ima slab utjecaj na konkurentnost radne snage iz razloga što na zapošljavanje ljudi nakon završetka fakulteta utječu mnogi drugi čimbenici poput zapošljavanja preko obiteljskih veza. U radu se uspoređivalo stanje obrazovanja u Hrvatskoj i u drugim zemljama svijeta, ali i sami utjecaj obrazovanja na radnu snagu. Posebno poglavlje je činilo i cjeloživotno obrazovanje, koje u zadnje vrijeme ima sve veći značaj jer kontinuirano usavršavanje ima pozitivne efekte za pojedinca. Empirijsko istraživanje je provedeno pomoću anketnog upitnika čiji rezultati pokazuju kako polovica ispitanika radi na poslovima koji nisu u skladu s njihovim obrazovanjem, te kod gotovo polovice ispitanika stupanj obrazovanja nije utjecao na njihov položaj na tržištu rada. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako više od polovice ispitanih zaposlenika se ne pridržava zakona vezanog uz stupanj njihovog obrazovanja prilikom zapošljavanja. Ovim radom je također prikazano kako je većina ispitivanih zaposlenika nezadovoljno svojim položajem na radnom mjestu s obzirom na kvalifikaciju. Tokom istraživanja većina zaposlenika nije upućena nikada na bilo kakav oblik dodatnog usavršavanja. The theme of this diploma paper refers to a statistical analysis of the impact of education on the competitiveness of the labor force in the Republic of Croatia. Education has a weak impact on the competitiveness of the workforce because the employment of people after leaving the faculty affected by many other factors such as employment through family ties. The paper compared the state of education in Croatia and other countries of the world, but themselves the impact of education on the labor force. A separate chapter is lifelong learning, which recently has increasing importance for continuous training has positive effects for individuals. Empirical research was conducted using a questionnaire and the results show that half of the respondents work in jobs that are not in accordance with their education, and in almost half of the respondents’ level of education did not affect their position in the labor market. The research showed that more than half of employees not abide by the laws related to the level of their education in employment. This work has also shown that the majority of the employees are dissatisfied with their position in the workplace with regard to qualification. During the study most of the employees is never addressed in any form of additional training.

Cilj rada jest prikazati rješenja kojima bi se zaštita životinja u Hrvatskoj podigla na razinu višu od postojeće, u svrhu promjene pravnog tretmana životinja kao objekata. Naime, radi se o živim bićima koja imaju vrijednost po sebi, a ne isključivo kao stvari koje služe zadovoljenju egzistencijalnih i drugih ljudskih potreba. Izložena je promjenjivost poimanja pravnog subjektiviteta tijekom povijesti i problematiziran status životinja kao objekata u hrvatskom zakonodavstvu i odabranim komparativnim sustavima koji su, u određenoj mjeri, izdvojili životinje iz stvarnopravnog režima. Također, predstavljeni su primjeri sudskih procesa u kojima su problematizirane posljedice nedostatka pravne osobnosti životinja. Nadalje, iznesene su pretpostavke procesne zaštite životinja u sudskom postupku, s naglaskom na pravnom interesu ljudi za zaštitu životinja kao dijela prirode i čovjekova okoliša, koji su najviša vrednota ustavnog poretka. Analizirana je procesna legitimacija putem zakonskih zastupnika i pravobranitelja za životinje. Zaključno, istraženi su mehanizmi sudske zaštite životinja u komparativnim pravnim sustavima kroz institut pravobranitelja za životinje i zastupnika životinja u sudskim postupcima kao koristan putokaz pri ostvarenju potencijala Hrvatske u domeni zaštite životinja., The aim of this paper is to present solutions that would improve the protection of animals in Croatia, for the purpose of changing the legal treatment of animals as objects. Animals are living beings having value as themselves, and not exclusively as things satisfying existential and other human needs. Different understanding of legal subjectivity throughout history is shown and legal status of animals as objects in Croatian legislation, along with selected comparative systems, partially separating animals from the property law regime, is also presented. Furthermore, samples of lawsuits are exhibited, in which consequences of lacking legal subjectivity of animals are problematized. Assumptions of procedural protection of animals in court proceedings are presented, with emphasis on the legal interest of people in protection of animals as part of nature and human environment, which are the greatest value of the constitutional order. Procedural legitimacy through legal representatives and animal ombudsman were analyzed. In conclusion, the mechanisms of judicial protection of animals in comparative legal systems through the institute of animal ombudsman and animal representatives in court proceedings were investigated as useful guide towards realization of potentials of Croatia in the field of animal protection.

Autorica je u radu na temelju analize prevladavajuće teme u znanstvenim radovima vodećih nacionalnih časopisa o javnoj upravi pokušala prikazati, a potom i usporediti upravne sustave Hrvatske, SAD-a, Kanade, Indije i Australije. Uvidom u tematsku strukturu časopisa pokušala je utvrditi javlja li se javna uprava u različitim državama kao sasvim različiti fenomen ili je riječ o jednakom fenomenu čija su specifična obilježja samo produkt različitih okolišnih (ekonomskih, socijalnih, povijesnih, geografskih, kulturnih, itd.) čimbenika u kojima su se ti upravni sustavi razvijali i koja su takva da omogućuju razmjenu najboljih ideja i praksi i daljnji razvoj upravnih sustava prema zajedničkom modelu. U radu se najprije opisuje istraživanje sadržaja znanstvenih časopisa o javnoj upravi kao metoda istraživanja u upravnoj znanosti. Autorica zatim izlaže tijek svog istraživanja i dobivene rezultate te konačno tumači rezultate dobivene istraživanjem., The paper analyses the thematic structure of scientific papers published in an American, an Australian, an Indian, a Canadian, and a Croatian journal dealing with public administration in the period 1999–2009. Based on this analysis, the administrative systems of the countries of origin are outlined and compared. The initial thesis is that the administrative systems of different countries differ because of various environmental conditions in which they have developed, but these differences are not so huge as to suggest that public administration in different countries is a completely different phenomenon. On the contrary, due to globalisation, uniqueness and divergence of various administrative systems are tending to withdraw, making room for the exchange of ideas and best practices, and to the development of national administrative systems according to a common model. The paper describes the analysis of themes as one of the research methods in administrative science and outlines some of the papers in which this method has been used. The author has analysed the results for each country individually, proceeding with an aggregate overview of thematic structures and administrative systems of the respective countries. The thematic structure of scientific papers as a copy of the studied administrative systems has shown that the USA and Australia are ideologically oriented towards economic values, as the countries of pragmatic culture, while Canada is oriented towards economic and traditional values. India can be considered to use its potentials for further development of the country, while Croatia is a country that is reforming its administrative system in accordance with democratic principles and other traditional values of the European continent. nevertheless, the research has shown that public administration core is the same in each of the analysed countries and that they are moving towards common understanding of what is an optimal organisation of public administration.

29. Multivarijatna analiza kontroliranih varijabli u kliničkoj procjeni slike tijela

Pojam slike tijela kao klinički entitet je iznimno kompleksan. Ova tema je predmet brojnih suvremenih znanstvenih i kliničkih istraživanja kojima se bave autori iz raznih disciplina u području biomedicinskih, humanističkih i drugih znanosti, dakle i u području rehabilitacijskih znanosti. U tim istraživanjima, autori koriste razne teorijske i interteorijske pristupe u proučavanju čimbenika koji utječu na razvoj doživljaja slike tijela u osobe. U tom okviru i u ovom radu, prikazana je sustavna analiza znanstvenih radova objavljenih u 15 relevantnih znanstvenih časopisa u svijetu. Obuhvaćen je uzorak od 158 znanstvenih radova koji su u postupku istraživanja razvrstani u 3 poduzorka: a) opće odrednice u dijagnostici, terapiji i evaluaciji doživljaja slike tijela; b) doživljaj slike tijela u oboljelih od raka dojke; i c) analiza ključnih riječi s posebnim osvrtom na pojmove rak dojke i slika tijela. Analiza izvornih podataka za kontrolirane varijable provedena je uz primjenu robusne kanoničke analize. Normalnost distribucija frekvencija testirana je Kolmogorov-Smirnov testom. Kod svih kvalitativnih varijabli izračunati su osnovni statistički parametri. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na širok raspon problemskih područja na koja je bio usmjeren interes autora, kao i na razne koncepte istraživanja koje su pritom koristili. Na osnovi dobivenih rezultata, konstatirana je potreba razvijanja novih sustavnih multidimenzionalnih i interdisciplinarnih pristupa u dijagnostičkim, terapijskim, edukacijskim i rehabilitacijskim postupcima. Prikazani rezultati proizašli su iz znanstvenog projekta "Komplementarne suportivne terapije i razvoj životnih potencijala“ provođenog uz potporu Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i športa Republike Hrvatske., Body image as a clinical entity is an exceptionally complex issue. This topic has been the subject of a number of contemporary scientific and clinical research studies, conducted by authors from various disciplines in the field of biomedical, humanistic and other sciences, as well as in the field of rehabilitation sciences. In such research studies the authors apply different theoretical and intertheoretical approaches to the study of factors affecting the development of body image experience in a person. Within that framework, a systematic analysis of scientific papers published in fifteen relevant scientific journals worldwide has been presented in this paper. It comprises a sample of 158 scientific papers, classified in the research procedure into three subsamples: a) general baselines in diagnostics, therapy and evaluation of body image experience; b) body image experience in breast cancer patients; and c) an analysis of keywords with special emphasis on the terms breast cancer and body image. An analysis of original data for control variables has been conducted with application of canonical covariance analysis. Normality of frequency distributions was tested by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Basic statistical parameters were computed in all qualitative variables. Obtained results have shown a wide range of problem fields the author focussed on, as well as different concepts of research applied therein. Based on the obtained results, a need was identified to develop new systematic multidimensional and interdisciplinary approaches in diagnostic, therapeutical, educational and rehabilitational approaches. The presented results arise from the scientific research project “Complementary Supportive Therapies and Development of Life Potentials”, conducted with the support of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.

Ima li čovjek pravo na dostojanstvenu smrt? Ovo pitanje nužno je usmjereno i prema problemu eutanazije. Postoje različiti pristupi problemu eutanazije: teološki, sociološki, medicinski i etički pristup. Cilj je ovoga rada dati ponajprije usporedni prikaz kaznenopravnih aspekata eutanazije. Na temelju proučavanja relevantne literature, analizom slučaja iz prakse Europskog suda za ljudska prava, korištenjem poredbene metode, autori objašnjavaju pojmove eutanazije i potpomognutog samoubojstva te analiziraju problematiku na temelju pravnih rješenja Mađarske, Francuske, Njemačke, Belgije i Nizozemske. U radu se analizira stanje u Hrvatskoj de lege lata, koje prepoznaje usmrćenje na zahtjev kao privilegirano ubojstvo dok aktivna eutanazija nije dopuštena. Autori nakon rasprave kao moguće rješenje de lege ferenda predlažu donošenje posebnog zakona o eutanaziji., Does a human being have the right to a dignified death? This question inevitably turns to the problem of euthanasia as well. Euthanasia is a topic that can be approached in a number of ways, including religious, sociological, medical, and ethical approaches. The aim of this paper is to provide, first and foremost, a comparative account of the penological aspects of euthanasia. The authors explain the concepts of euthanasia and assisted suicide and analyse the problem in light of the legal solutions in Hungary, France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. These analyses are based on the study of pertinent literature, analysis of a case from the practice of the European Court of Human Rights, and use of the comparative method. The study examines the situation in Croatia de lege lata, where active euthanasia is prohibited and death on demand is recognized as a privilege murder. Following the discussion, the authors suggest that a specific euthanasia law be passed as a potential de lege ferenda solution.

Ovaj je rad komparativna analiza trgovinskih strategija Hrvatske i Slovenije koja je ostvarena pomoću niza pokazatelja. Republika Hrvatska i Republika Slovenija prigodne su države za usporedbu iz razloga što imaju isti geografski položaj, dijele istu blisku prošlost kao bivše članice Socijalističke Federativne Republike Jugoslavije, a danas samostalne i suverene države članice Europske unije. Indikatori prema kojima se analiza odvijala podijeljeni su u dvije skupine: opće ekonomske pokazatelje i pokazatelje vezane uz trgovinu. Analiza ekonomskih indikatora služila je za dobivanje predodžbe o nacionalnoj ekonomiji, odnosno njezinom stupnju razvijenosti. S druge stane, analiza indikatora međunarodne razmjene donosi prosudbu o uspješnosti ostvarivanja vanjskotrgovinske politike promatranih država. Pokazatelji se istovremeno uspoređuju između spomenutih država te se na taj način mogu raspoznati sličnosti i različitosti među trgovinskim strategijama. Osim toga, važno je napomenuti da je razdoblje promatranja indikatora u rasponu od 2009. do 2019. godine. 2020. godina nije se uzimala u obzir zbog novonastale korona-krize prilikom koje dolazi do ekstremnih odstupanja koja nisu pogodna za objektivnu analizu gospodarstava i njihovih međunarodnih strategija., This paper is a comparative analysis of trade strategies of Croatia and Slovenia which was realized using a variety of indicators. The Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia are suitable countries for comparison because they have the same geographical position and they share the same recent past as the former members of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Also, today they are independent and sovereign members of the European Union. The indicators according to which the analysis was conducted were divided into two groups: economic indicators and trade-related indicators. The analysis of economic indicators was used to get a perspective of the national economy and its level of development. On the other hand, the analysis of international trade indicators makes a judgment on the success of the foreign trade policy of the observed countries. At the same time, the indicators are compared between the mentioned countries, thus creating similarities and differences between trade strategies. In addition, it is important to note that the observation period of the indicators ranges from 2009 to 2019. 2020 was not taken into account due to the newly emerging corona crisis during which there are extreme deviations that are not suitable for an objective analysis of economies and their international strategies.

U aktualnim uvjetima brzih i sveobuhvatnih promjena tržišnih i gospodarskih potreba za znanjem i kompetencijama obrazovanje odraslih predstavlja temelj suvremenog društva. Potencijal obrazovanja odraslih u suvremenim uvjetima uočavaju međunarodne i europske organizacije te skupine eksperata koje zajednički razvijaju strategije, ciljeve i standarde te tvore kvalitetne i učinkovite sustave obrazovanja odraslih. Pod pretpostavkom da se sustavi obrazovanja odraslih bar djelomice razvijaju prema istim standardima, ovaj se rad temelji na komparaciji sustava obrazovanja odraslih Hrvatske i Njemačke prema kriterijima – povijesni razvoj obrazovanja odraslih, zakonska legislativa, nadležna tijela, pružatelji usluga i programi obrazovanja odraslih, financiranje obrazovanja odraslih, uključenost stanovništva u programe obrazovanje odraslih i prepreke za uključivanje te stanje andragoške profesije. Cilj je bio uočiti temeljne sličnosti i razlike te donijeti opravdane zaključke i prijedloge za poboljšanje stanja obrazovanja odraslih u odabranim zemljama., In the current conditions of rapid and comprehensive changes in market and economic needs for knowledge and competencies, adult education is seen as the foundation of modern society. The potential of adult education is noticed by international and European organizations and groups of experts who jointly develop strategies, goals and standards and create quality and effective adult education systems. Assuming that adult education systems are at least partially developed according to the same standards, this paper is based on a comparison of Croatian and German adult education systems according to the following criteria – historical development of adult education, legislation, authorities, service providers and adult education programs, adult education funding , the involvement of the population in adult education programs and obstacles to inclusion and the state of the andragogical profession. The aim was to identify fundamental similarities and differences and to make justified conclusions and proposals for improving the state of adult education in selected countries.

Cilj ovog rada bio je komparativno analizirati nastavni plan i program geografije u waldorfskoj i državnoj školi. Analizirale su se sličnosti i razlike nastave geografije od petog do osmog razreda prema nastavnom planu i programu dvije škole, Nastavnom planu i programu za osnovnu školu (2006) i Nastavnom planu i programu za osnovnu waldorfsku školu (1998). Elementi koji su se uspoređivali su ciljevi, nastavni sadržaji, metode rada, socijalni oblici rada, izvori te ocjenjivanje. Prije same analize iznesene su glavna obilježja waldorfske pedagogije i škole te razlike u odnosu na državnu školu. Iz provedene analize uočavaju se određene razlike i sličnosti u nastavi geografije između državne i waldorfske škole. Najveće razlike postoje kod nastavnog sadržaja. Dok se u waldorfskoj školi prvo obrađuje nastavni sadržaj o domovini, zatim o Europi te ostalim kontinentima, u državnoj školi prvo se obrađuje sadržaj o Zemlji, potom osnovni pojmovi iz prirodne i društvene geografije. U šestom razredu obrađuje se sadržaj o svim kontinentima, osim o Europi koja se obrađuje u sedmom razredu, a u osmom razredu se obrađuje sadržaj o Republici Hrvatskoj. Nastavu geografije u waldorfskoj školi obilježavaju izrada učeničkih bilježnica te samostalno crtanje geografskih karata. U državnoj školi koriste se već gotovi materijali. Razliku predstavlja i ocjenjivanje koje je u državnoj školi brojčano, a u waldorfskoj opisno The aim of this paper was to comparatively analyze the Geography curriculum in the Waldorf and public school. Similarities and differences in Geography teaching from fifth to eighth grade were analyzed according to the curriculum of two schools, the Primary School Curriculum (2006) and the Waldorf Primary School Curriculum (1998). The elements that were compared were aims, subject matter, methods, ways of classroom interaction, sources of materials and type of grading. Prior to the analysis, the main characteristics of Waldorf pedagogy and Waldorf school, as well as its differences between the public school, were presented. From the conducted analysis, certain differences and similarities in the teaching of Geography between the public and Waldorf school can be noticed. The biggest differences are in the subject matter. Subject matter in Waldorf school starts with homeland, then Europe in sixth grade and other continents in seventh and eighth grade. Subject matter in public school starts with the content about Earth and basic concepts from physical and human geography. In the sixth grade students learn about all the continents, except for Europe which is subject matter of seventh grade. In the eighth grade students learn about Republic of Croatia. Geography class in Waldorf school is characterized by the student notebooks and geographic maps which are made by the students. In public school students use already made materials. The difference between two schools is type of grading, which is numerical in the public school and descriptive in the Waldorf school.

Turizam je jedan od najbrže rastućih sektora u svijetu i često se bira kao strategija razvoja, posebice u zemljama u razvoju. Zemljama u razvoju se smatraju zemlje koje su na niskom stupnju ekonomskoga, političkoga i socijalnoga razvoja s obzirom na postignuti stupanj napretka u suvremenome svijetu, unatoč svojemu prirodnomu bogatstvu i ljudskomu potencijalu. Implementacijom turizma postižu se značajni napreci u pogledu zaposlenja, ravnopravnosti, brzo se dolazi do tvrdih deviza, turizam posredno djeluje na ostale sektore te se postiže rast opće kvalitete života. Kada se govori o negativnim utjecajima najčešće je riječ o ekološko – sociološkoj sferi što se očituje u narušavanju okoliša, rastu kriminala i prostitucije te komercijalizaciji autohtone kulture. Kroz održiv pristup planiranju razvoja mogu se dugoročno postići dobri rezultati koji neće ugrožavati lokalno stanovništvo te dovesti do devastacije lokaliteta. Za potrebe istraživanja je provedena komparativna analiza četiriju otočnih zemalja s različitim turističkim pokazateljima i udjelima turizma u BDP-u. Kroz provedeno istraživanje je dokazano kako za razvoj turizma nije dovoljno bogatstvo resursne osnove već je potrebno planirati njezinu valorizaciju te izgradnju prateće infrastrukture i suprastrukture kako bi se posljedično ekonomski efekti turizma pozitivno odrazili na gospodarstvo zemlje. Tourism is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world is often chosen as a development strategy, especially in countries in development. Countries in development are countries that despite all their potential have a low level of economic, political and sociological development in comparison to the overall development level in the world. By implementing tourism, significant progress regarding employment, equality, foreign income, general life quality and positive influence on other sectors is being noted. When speaking about negative influences, they are mostly manifested in ecological and sociological spheres of life through environmental issues, growth of crime and prostitution statistics, and commercializing original domestic culture. Through sustainable development planning on a long term basis, good results can be accomplished without endangering locals or their habitat. For research purposes, a comparative analysis of four island states that differ in tourism characteristics and tourism share in countriy´s GDP has been conducted. Through the conducted research in this paper, it is clear that having resources is not enough for tourism development. Activities should be planned in order to protect the resources while building the infrastructure necessary for tourism to develop and consequently make positive economic results that will influence the entire country’s economy.

U ovom radu vrši se didaktičko-metodička analiza hrvatskih i engleskih udžbenika za deveti, odnosno osmi razred osnovne škole. Didaktičko-metodičke komponente koje su se promatrale su način oblikovanja, koncipiranja i organiziranja teksta (grafičko uređivanje i priprema, istaknuti prigodni dijelovi sadržaja i odlomaka, način na koji su formulirani naslovi), pisani i slikovni izvori i njihova upotreba te funkcija i struktura pitanja, zadataka i aktivnosti. Cilj istraživanja bio je odrediti uporabne razlike ili sličnosti engleskih i hrvatskih udžbenika te na kakav su oblik rada usmjereni, koje nastavne metode potiču i u kojoj su mjeri odraz nacionalnih kurikuluma i nastavnih programa. Za provedbu analize načinjen je didaktičko-metodički instrumentarij. Pomoću njega utvrđeno je da se velika većina udžbenika pridržava strukture udžbeničke jedinice iako to nije neophodno i presudno za njihovu kvalitetu. Sadržaji većinom odgovaraju onima koji su propisani nastavnim programima i kurikulumima. Hrvatski udžbenici potiču individualni rad dok engleski pored samostalnog rada učenike usmjeravaju i na rad u grupama ili skupinama. Podjednako su zastupljene vizualne i verbalne nastavne metode. Jedan hrvatski udžbenik (Povijest 8) te svi engleski udžbenici (Technology, War and Independence, History – Book 3: Twentieth Century i History Year 9) sadrže kompleksnije aktivnosti koje naglašavaju više misaone procese. Uloga udžbenika je većinom centralna u hrvatskom obrazovnom sustavu, a u Engleskoj marginalna zbog načina na koji se koristi i upotrebljava u nastavi. This paper deals with didactic-methodical analysis of Croatian and English textbooks for the ninth grade (eighth grade in Croatian education system). The didactic-methodological components that were observed were the way the text was formatted, conceptualized and organized (graphic editing and preparation, highlighting appropriate parts of content and paragraphs, the way the titles were formulated), written and pictorial sources and their use and the function and structure of the questions, tasks and other student activities. The aim of the research was to determine the differences or similarities of English and Croatian textbooks, on what kind of work methods they are focused on, what teaching methods they encourage and to what extent they reflect the national curriculum. To perform the analysis a didacticmethodical instrumentarium was made, with its help it was established that the vast majority of textbooks adhere to the structure of the textbook unit, although that is not a important element that affects their quality. The content is largely in line with the curriculum requirements. Croatian textbooks encourage individual student work while the English textbooks in addition to that also encourage work in groups. Visual and verbal teaching methods are equally represented. One Croatian textbook (Povijest 8) and all English ones (Technology, War and Independence, History - Book 3: Twentieth Century and History Year 9) contain more complex activities that emphasize higher cognitive levels of Bloom's Taxonomy (analysis, synthesis, evaluation). The role of textbooks is largely central in the Croatian education system and marginal in England's because of the way they are used in teaching.

Cilj ovog rada bio je komparativno analizirati nastavni plan i program engleskog jezika u državnoj i waldorfskoj školi. Usporedno su se analizirali Nastavni plan i program za osnovnu školu (2006) i Nastavni plan i program osnovne waldorfske škole (1998). S obzirom da je waldorfska pedagogija alternativna koncepcija, prije same analize iznesene su njene osnovne značajke. Analiza je obuhvaćala temeljne sastavnice kurikuluma- ciljeve, nastavni sadržaj, metode rada, socijalne oblike rada, izvore rada te način ocjenjivanja. Na temelju analize mogu se iščitati sličnosti i razlike u načinu poučavanja engleskog kao stranog jezika. Nastava engleskog jezika u državnoj školi usmjerena je prema razvoju jezičnih vještina- govorenja, slušanja, čitanja i pisanja. Imajući na umu da je cilj waldorfske pedagogije razvoj cjelovitog pojedinca, taj cilj se ogleda i u nastavi engleskog jezika. U nižim razredima engleski se poučava putem pjesama, priča, recitacija, pokreta i oponašanja. U prva dva razreda uči se isključivo govoreći i slušajući, naglašavajući važnost razvijanja osjećaja za ritam i melodiju jezika. Pisanje i čitanje se uvodi u trećem razredu, a gramatika u četvrtom. Nastava prati glavnu nastavu tako da je gradivo drugih predmeta prisutno i u nastavi engleskog jezika. U višim razredima fokus je na samostalnosti u izražavanju i radu. I u waldorfskoj i u državnoj školi bitan je kulturni aspekt, tako da se uči o kulturi zemalja engleskog govornog područja. U državnoj školi učenici uče iz udžbenika i koriste se raznoraznim audio-vizualnim materijalima, dok je u waldorfskoj školi glavni izvor učiteljeva riječ i predmeti iz svakodnevnog života. The aim of this paper was to comparatively analyze the English language curriculum in Waldorf and public school. The documents used for comparative analysis were Primary school curriculum (2006) and Waldorf primary school curriculum (1998). Considering that Waldorf pedagogy is an alternative educational conception, its main characteristics will be presented before the analysis. The analysis included the main elements of the curriculum- aims, subject matter, methods, sources of materials, ways of classroom interaction and type of grading. Based on the analysis, similarities and differences in the approach to teaching English as a foreign language are evident. English teaching in public school is oriented towards the development of four language skills- speaking, listening, reading and writing. Keeping in mind that the goal of the Waldorf pedagogy is the development of the individual as a whole, that goal is also reflected in the teaching of English. In the lower grades, English is taught through songs, stories, recitals, moves and imitation. In the first and in the second grade English is learned by speaking and listening, emphasizing the importance of developing the feeling for the rhythm and the melody of the language. Writing and reading is introduced in the third grade, while grammar is introduced in the fourth. The subject matter from the main lesson block is also implemented in the English class. In the upper classes the focus is on the autonomy in expression and in work. In both schools the cultural aspect is important, so the culture of the English speaking countries is taught. In public school, students learn from the textbook and use a variety of audio-visual materials. On the other hand, the teacher’s word and everyday objects are the main source of material in Waldorf school.

Drava je rijeka koja kroz Hrvatsku prolazi tvoreći granicu s MaĊarskom većim dijelom svog toka. Cilj rada bio je istraţiti promjene u pruţanju korita Drave od Repaša do Ferdinandovca u posljednjih 235 godina na temelju metode komparativne analize osam razliĉitih kartografskih izvora. Pregledom promjena na povijesnim kartografskim izvorima te analizom literature utvrĊena je razina promjene i presudni utjecaj promjene (prirodni i antropogeni). Rezultati su pokazali da je u promatranom razdoblju došlo do znaĉajnih morfoloških promjena, ponajviše u razdoblju krajem 19. i poĉetkom 20. stoljeća, dok je presudni utjecaj ukupne promjene antropogen. The Drava river passes through Croatia forming a border with Hungary for most of its flow. The aim of the paper was to investigate the changes in riverbed position of Drava river from Repaš till Ferdinandovac over the last 235 years, based on the method of comparative analysis of eight different cartographic sources. By reviewing the changes in historical cartographic sources and by analyzing literature, the level of change and the crucial influence of change (natural and anthropogenic) was determined. The results showed that significant morphological changes took place in the observed period, mostly in the late 19th and early 20th century, while the crucial influence of total change was antrophogenic.

Studij pedagogije ima dugu tradiciju u Hrvatskoj i u skandinavskim zemaljama poput Finske, Švedske i Danske. Paralelno s razvojem pedagogije kao znanosti razvijao se i studij pedagogije u Hrvatskoj, ali i u skandinavskim zemljama. Glavna svrha mu je obrazovati i pripremiti za tržište rada buduće stručnjake u području pedagogije, a posebice pripremiti i upoznati s područjima rada te omogućiti stjecanje i razvijanje odgovarajućih kompetencija potrebnih za rad u određenom području pedagogije. Nadalje, u radu su prikazani studijski programi pedagogije u Hrvatskoj na svim sastavnicama sveučilišta koje budućim studentima nude studij pedagogije, te je prikazan skandinavski model obrazovanja pedagoga odnosno studijski programi pedagogije u Finskoj, Švedskoj i Danskoj. Također nakon prikaza studijskih programa, napravljena je komparativna analiza studija prema kriterijima koji uključuju trajanje i organizaciju studija, stečeni akademski naziv nakon završenog adekvatnog stupnja obrazovanja, financiranje visokog školstva, kriterije za upis studija, kolegije na određenom stupnju obrazovanja, praktičan rad na studiju te stečene kompetencije., Pedagogy studies have a long tradition in Republic of Croatia and Scandinavian countries, like Finland, Sweden and Denmark. During the development of pedagogy as science, the pedagogy studies had been developing in Croatia, but also in Scandinavian countries. Its main purpose is to educate and prepare future experts for labor market, but especially to prepare them and to get them known with working areas and to enable acquisition and development of appropriate competences required for working in a Pedagogy's certain area. Further, in the paper are presented study programs of pedagogue education. After presenting study programs, comparative analysis of studies has been made. The analysis was made by criterias which include duration and organization of studies, academic title after finishing adequate education degree, financing higher education, criteria for enrollment, courses on a particular degree of education, practical work on study and acquired competence.

Cilj diplomskog rada je prikazati zastupljenost umjetničkog područja (glazba) u švedskom, singapurskom i australskom kurikulumu te komparirati singapurski i hrvatski kurikulum umjetničkog područja (glazba). Rezultati komparativne analize singapurskog i hrvatskog kurikuluma ukazuju na brojne sličnosti između kurikuluma i to u prvom redu s obzirom na njihovu strukturu i sadržaj. Što se tiče formiranja odgojno-obrazovnih ciklusa, broja domena i razina usvojenosti ishoda, uočene su određene razlike i specifičnosti., Main goal of this paper is to make review about representation of arts (music) in Swedish, Singaporean and Australian curriculum, also it is a comparative analysis of Singaporean and Croatian curriculum suggestion regarding arts (music). Results of comparative analysis of Singaporean and Croatian curriculum point to many similarities between, first of all, in their structure and content. Regarding upbringing-educational cycles, number of domain and level of outcomes, differences and specificities are identified.

U radu se provodi analiza financijskih izvješća korporacije Pliva koja danas djeluje u sklopu globalne farmaceutske korporacije Teva. Provedena je horizontalna i vertikalna financijska analiza kao i komparativna analiza poslovanja grupacije Teva u odnosu na konkurente – Bayer i GlaxoSmithKline. Primarni ciljevi rada su spoznati postoje li odstupanja od referentnih vrijednosti pojedinih pokazatelja u poslovanju grupacije Teva te istražiti financijsku snagu grupacije u odnosu na odabrane konkurente. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da je financijska snaga grupacije Teva nešto slabija u odnosu na konkurente, a osobiti problemi proizlaze iz neadekvatne strukture kratkotrajne imovine kao i iz orijentacije na proizvodnju generičkih proizvoda umjesto na istraživanje i razvoj, zbog čega dolazi do smanjenja nematerijalne dugotrajne imovine kao najvažnije stavke u aktivi grupacije. Preporuka za daljnja istraživanja je obraditi kretanje pokazatelja likvidnosti na globalnoj razini u farmaceutskoj industriji s preporukama za njezino unaprjeđenje. Analysis of financial statements of corporation Pliva, a part of the global pharmaceutical corporations Teva is carried out in a final paper. A horizontal and vertical financial analysis was conducted as well as a comparative analysis of business groups Teva relative to competitors - Bayer and GlaxoSmithKline. The primary objectives of the work are to find out if there are any deviations from the reference values of certain indicators in the business group Teva and investigate the financial strength of the Group in relation to selected competitors. The research results indicate that the financial strength of the group Teva is slightly lower in relation to its competitors. The problems arise from inadequate structure of current assets as well as the orientation of the production of generic products instead of research and development. This orientation results with a decrease of intangible fixed assets as the most important issue in Group assets. Recommendation for future research is to process the liquidity indicators in the global pharmaceutical industry with the recommendations for its improvement.

Svrha je rada proučiti objedinjeno izdanje ISBD-a u odnosu na specijalizirani standard ISBD(A) kako bi se utvrdilo na koji su način u njihovim propisima iskazane specifičnosti stare knjige te pridonose li promjene koje donosi objedinjeni ISBD razvoju bibliografskog opisa stare knjige. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom komparativne analize, a kao instrument istraživanja korištena je tablica za konkordanciju. Rezultati su pokazali razlike u načinu tretiranja specifičnosti stare knjige između objedinjenog izdanja ISBD-a i specijaliziranog standarda ISBD(A)-a. Iako se specifičnosti stare knjige javljaju u svim skupinama bibliografskog opisa koje se koriste za staru knjigu, najviše se očituju u općim propisima, stvarnom naslovu i podacima o odgovornosti, skupini izdavanja, proizvodnje i raspačavanja te materijalnom opisu. U svim skupinama opisa uočene su određene promjene koje treba posebno razmotriti pri izradi novog nacionalnog kataložnog pravilnika. Također, uočene su i promjene koje znatno unaprjeđuju bibliografski opis stare knjige, kao što je dosljedno bilježenje svih podataka o pojedinačnom primjerku u skupini napomena., The goal of this paper is to analyze the ISBD consolidated edition and compare it to the specialized standard ISBD(A) in order to determine how the characteristics of rare books are treated in both standards’ stipulations, and whether the changes brought by the consolidated ISBD contribute significantly to the development of bibliographic description of rare books. The analysis was carried out using a methodology of comparative analysis and table of concordance as a research instrument. The results have shown differences in the treatment of rare books characteristics between the consolidated ISBD and the specialized standard ISBD(A). Although specific characteristics of rare books appear in all areas of bibliographic description used for rare books, they are most evident in the general section, the title and statement of responsibility area, the publication, production and distribution area, and the material description area. The changes that should be considered, especially in composing a new Croatian national cataloguing code, are noticed in all areas of bibliographic description. Also, some changes that significantly improve the bibliographic description of rare books have been observed, such as consistent recording of all copy specific information in the notes area.

Park oko Šumarskog i Agronomskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, nalazi se na području perivoja Maksimir, istočno od potoka Blizneca. Oformljen pedesetih godina prošloga stoljeća, na površini od 5,7 ha, park obiluje velikim brojem drvenastih vrsta, varijeteta i kultivara, te je ukupno utvrđeno 112 svojti. Od toga je 37 golosjemenjača, dok su kritosjemenjače zastupljene sa 75 taksona (tablica 1 i 2).Paviljonski sklopovi u kojima se odvija nastava Šumarskog i Agronomskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, te istraživački rad s područja šumarstva i agronomije, kao i niz građevina iz 19. stoljeća, smješteni unutra parka, predstavljaju bogati presjek razvoja arhitekture od prve trećine 19. stoljeća, pa sve do značajki suvremene arhitekture početka 21. stoljeća (slike 1 do 8). U općim crtama oni predstavljaju razvoj arhitektonskih stilova i misli, te u detaljima zanimljive specifičnosti, vezane uz razvoj zagrebačke arhitekture, kao i osobitosti izraza pojedinih autora.Prilikom podizanja parka tendencija je bila oformiti prostor koji bi ponajprije služio edukaciji studenata Šumarskog i Agronomskog fakulteta, dok je estetska i ornamentalna funkcija biljaka zanemarena. Usporedo sa sadnjom biljnog materijala, nije se vodilo određenim konceptom, već je naglasak stavljen na što veću zastupljenost različitih svojti unutar parka. Posljedično se park ne otvara posjetitelju cjelovitošću spektra morfoloških posebnosti zasađenih svojti.Glavni element prostora uvijek je u početku arhitektonski element, a biljke su sađene tek zaključno s podizanjem građevine. Budući da se prilikom podizanja parka oko Šumarskog i Agronomskog fakulteta nije vodilo dovoljno računa o usklađenosti hortikulturnih i arhitektonskih elemenata, u ovome su radu putem složene analize odnosa između prostornih odlika građevina i reprezentativnih morfoloških značajki pojedinih biljnih svojti dana konkretna rješenja pri odabiru ili modifikaciji hortikulturnih elemenata u smjeru postizanja nedosegnute ravnoteže prirodnih i umjetnih formi, bez agresivnijeg zadiranja u prostor., The park surrounding the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, is located within the Maksimir Public Garden, east of the Bliznec Brook. Established in the 1950s, and covering an area of 5.7 ha, the park abounds in woody plant species, varieties and cultivars, with a total of 112 plant taxa. Out of these, 37 are Gymnosperms, while Angiosperms are represented by 75 taxa (Tables 1 and 2).The pavilion complexes serving as a teaching venue for the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Zagreb, and for research in the fields of forestry and agriculture, as well as a number of 19th century buildings, all situated inside the park, represent a rich cross-section of architectural development from the first third of the 19th century to the features of contemporary architecture at the start of the 21st century (Figures 1 to 8). They paint in broad strokes the development of architectural styles and thoughts, showing, incorporated in their detail, some interesting and specific features that are related to the history of Zagreb architecture, as well as the particular qualities associated with the expression of individual authors.At the time of the park development, the tendency was to design a space primarily intended for the education of forestry and agriculture students, neglecting the aesthetic and ornamental function of the plants. There was no prevailing concept in parallel with the planting of the plant material; the emphasis was rather on the greatest possible representation of different taxa within the park. As a consequence, the park does not open towards the visitor with a comprehensive spectrum of morphological characteristics of the planted taxa.In the beginning, the main element of the space is always an architectural element, whereas the plants were planted only in the conclusive phase, after the construction. As at the time of development of the park surrounding the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Agriculture insufficient consideration was given to the harmony of horticultural and architectural elements, this paper provides concrete solutions for the selection or modification of horticultural elements, with a view to establish the previously non-existent balance of the natural and artificial forms without aggressive interventions in the space, based on a complex analysis of relations between the spatial features of buildings and the representative morphological features of individual plant taxa.
