The topic of this bachelor thesis is dedicated to the importance of first aid kits at home and automobile environment. The home first aid kits and car first aid kids are very important when first aid is needed and the general public should know about its content and use. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on specific situations when first aid is needed and the content of first aid kits at home and in cars. Three goals were set for a research purposes: 1. To conduct a survey of content of first aid kits at home and in automobile non-professional environment. 2. To find out knowledge of non-professionals about ways how to use content of first aid kits at home or in cars. 3. To map possible shortage of content of first aid kits at home or in cars. To fulfil these goals, answers to research questions in quantitative research process, questioning method and technique of half-structured interview, were used. The representative sample is formed from people with different education, gender and ethnic group. The research discovered lack of some content in first aid kits at home and in car and also in its usage. The research has found that general public is not informed enough about this topic. Based on this research an informational leaflet for general public has been made, which contains a list of basic content of first aid kits and important recommendation. Also a concept has been created for the use of tourniquet, which is a main problem for general public in area of use first aid kits.

The bachelor thesis on the topic of Care for a patient with burns in pre-hospital emergency care is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy of the skin, its function and subsequently focused on the burns themselves, their classification, the procedure for providing both lay and urgent care. There is also the inhalation trauma, its division and therapy. Three goals were set for the bachelor thesis. The first objective was to map the knowledge of paramedics regarding the care of burn patients. The second objective was to find out the material and technical equipment suitable for the treatment of a patient with burns in the EMS vehicle. The third objective was to identify current trends in the care of a patient with burns. To achieve the results, a method of qualitative research using the technique of a semi-structured interview containing 10 open questions was used. The interview was recorded through handwritten notes. These interviews were conducted with 14 paramedics of the Emergency Medical Service of the South Bohemian Region. From each regional centre - Strakonice, Tábor, Český Krumlov, Jindřichův Hradec, Písek, Jindřichův Hradec and České Budějovice - 2 paramedics were selected. The results of the work say that the interviewed paramedics have enough knowledge in the issue of burns in pre-hospital emergency care, in which they are well oriented. At the end of the bachelor thesis, in addition to summarizing the results of the research and evaluating the fulfillment of goals, my recommendations for the current practise of paramedics are also mentioned.

The thesis is focused on teaching first aid at the first level of primary school. I'm presenting the latest first aid methods in the theoretical part. Furthermore, the thesis deals with how first aid is thought of in the framework curriculum for primary education. There is also a mention of the skills of younger school age pupils from a developmental psychology perspective. It also discusses appropriate methods and form of teaching to help teachers in presenting first aid. The practical part of the thesis deals with the readiness and unreadiness of graduates of the Faculty of Education of Charles University to teach first aid. Through a questionnaire, I'm investigating whether students would welcome first aid teaching as a compulsory subject, and what they feel insecure about when teaching first aid. I also suggest a week-long thematic lecture and proven methods and forms of work. The results of research are presented, evaluating whether students who have received thematic first aid instruction are more likely to remember and be able to administer first aid than students who have not participated. The Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, together with the Prague 10 Youth House organises science camps outside Prague and in Prague, at Faculty of Science, every year. All camp leaders must be trained in occupational health and safety (OSH) before the start of the camp to ensure maximum safety of all participants. So far, temporary material has been used for training, a presentation that did not fully meet the requirements of the camp management. Therefore, the aim of the work was to develop suitable didactic materials for OSH training for leaders at science camps. The theoretical part of the thesis compares presentations on OSH available on internet, which however proved to be unsuitable for the required purpose. The practical part describes the developer products, didactic materials, which can be found in the appendixes. These are a guideline that is primarily intended for the trainer and three presentations that are intended for face-to-face training. The guideline serves as a help for trainers who will offer the training in OSH.

The aim of this study was to find out the knowledge of students of 3rd and 4th year, the Medical Lyceum and the Practical Nurse, in pre-medical first aid. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the concept of first aid including its division and aims. The integrated rescue system of the Czech Republic is also mentioned here. Moreover, it describes the correct procedure of pre-medical first aid in selected situations. Its practical part is devoted to finding out the knowledge of the Secondary Medical School students in Pardubice about first aid. Data collection was carried out using an anonymous questionnaire survey, which included 17 questions and 3 model situations. The questionnaire was used to determine theoretical knowledge about first aid and knowledge in solving specific model situations. A total of 80 students were surveyed. Subsequent data were processed and evaluated. It was found that the 4th year students performed better overall in specific model situations. The theoretical part of this thesis first deals with the anatomy of an upper extremity, then it provides an introduction into traumatology, where a reader learns about amputation injuries, particularly about the types of amputation injury and the elementary first aid in such injuries. Further on it concentrates on the pre-surgery preparation for patients with indication to replantation, the course of the operation, post-surgery care and nursing care for patients after replantation in the upper extremity. The goal of this bachelor thesis was to examine the specifics of the nursing care for patients after replantation in the upper extremity. Nurses caring about such patients have numerous uneasy tasks, which they have to fulfil dutifully and with consideration. To be able to provide these patients with the care corresponding with the standards of nursing care, nurses have to have sufficient knowledge, which was the second goal examined within this thesis. Quantitative methodology was chosen for the achievement of these goals in the practical part. Semi-structured interviews related to the research questions were prepared. The survey sample set consisted of nurses working at the department where amputation injuries are sent most often, the trauma surgery department. We found out that if nurses are not sure how to proceed in the care and do not know the exact principles, they either turn to a physician or to a more experienced colleague. The school curriculum in terms of replantation seems insufficient. As summarization and revision of procedures have their importance, preparation of a seminar Nursing Care for Patients after Replantation in the Upper Extremity appears to be reasonable and helpful for nurses providing care to patients with these problems.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of first aid education at the second stage of elementary schools. The aim of the thesis was to create a set of tasks that the teacher can use as a part of the students' independent work during the time when the teacher is working with other students during practical training. The first part of the thesis contains a general overview of the importance of first aid, the integration of first aid in curricular documents at elementary schools and the possibilities of teaching first aid, including organizational forms, methods and didactic tools for teaching first aid in schools. The second part deals with the creation of worksheets with tasks and their evaluation. A total of 9 different types of tasks were created in 4 variants, which were then grouped into 4 worksheets. The assessment of the applicability of the tasks in practice was carried out in the form of an evaluation questionnaire, in terms of comprehensibility, difficulty and entertainment. The results show that the created tasks meet the above-mentioned characteristics at an appropriate level - the pupils rated them as comprehensible, reasonably challenging and entertaining. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the risks associated with open water diving and their prevention. Three objectives were determined to elaborate this thesis. The first objective was to find out what kind of knowledge professional and recreational divers have about the risks related to open water diving. The second objective was to examine what knowledge divers have about preventive measures related to open water diving. Last but not least, the third objective was to determine what barriers regarding the open water diving are perceived by divers. The bachelor's thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into chapters and subchapters describing the history of diving, fundamental diving equipment, basics of physics for divers and physiology related to diving. The heoretical part also describes the most common injuries and diseases occurring during diving, proper first aid as a reaction to them as well as their treatment. Finally, a part of the theory is devoted to the prevention of undesirable situations during open water diving. In the practical part of this thesis a qualitative research was applied. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews. The research sample consisted of ten divers of different ages and different lengths of experience. Five informants were professional divers and five informants were recreational divers. The data obtained from the interviews were processed into four categories, which were further subdivided into subcategories. Using the qualitative research, it was found out that both professional and recreational divers have the necessary knowledge regarding the risks associated with open water diving. Despite essential knowledge and efforts to follow preventive measures, all but one informant experienced a crisis situation during a practice dive, which always turned out well due to proper theoretical preparation for these risk situations. All informants are aware that the biggest risk is the diver himself and overestimation of his own abilities. Regarding the knowledge of preventive measures related to the open water diving, there were differences between the knowledge of professional and recreational divers. All informants had the necessary awareness of the discussed topic, however it was clear that professional divers were more familiar with this issue. All informants were knowledgeable about the necessity of diving training, proper diving equipment, preventive measures and first aid procedures including cardiopulmonary resuscitation in case of an emergency situation. Moreover, it has been found out that divers perceive certain obstacles when diving in open water. In addition to poor health or psychological conditions being a barrier to diving, informants also determined low quality natural conditions as a barrier too. Deteriorated natural conditions were seen as a barrier mostly by recreational divers, whereas professional divers dive all year round and in all kinds of conditions. From the results of the research, it was ascertained that divers have sufficient knowledge of the risks associated with open water diving. Furthermore, informants have sufficient knowledge of preventive measures, which enables them to correctly assess certain situations. The fact that the informants consider the deteriorated natural conditions as a barrier to open water diving indicates that they are concerned about the prevention of risks associated with open water diving. This thesis highlights the importance of knowledge of the risks associated with open water diving and their prevention. The results of this bachelor's thesis can be used to supplement the knowledge of some divers, as a teaching material for novice divers or for health professionals who want to be aware of diving-related diseases and acute conditions related to diving itself.

Title: Knowledge of motor vehicle drivers of first aid procedures in traffic accidents Objectives: The diploma thesis aims to determine level of knowledge of motor vehicle drivers about first aid procedures in traffic accidents with the help of using own survey. This thesis deals with the issue of pre-medical first aid, experience and knowledge of pedagogical staff in this area. The main goal of the theoretical part was to define the concepts and procedures of pre-medical first aid. The goals of the practical part focused on finding out personal experience with the provision of pre-medical first aid of selected pedagogical staff of the Secondary School of Nursing and Higher Vocational School of Nursing in Příbram, and also on finding out their knowledge in this area. Data collection took place in a qualitative form of the interview method. The obtained data were subsequently evaluated and recommendations for practice were derived from them. It was found that all of the selected pedagogical staff had encountered a situation in which it was necessary to provide pre-medical first aid. The second important finding is that the respondents have excellent theoretical knowledge. These results show, among other things, the positive impact of regular first aid courses/training provided by the current employer, which is repeatedly attended by 84 % of respondents.

The diploma thesis deals with teaching first aid and English (CLIL method). The main purpose was to design five CLIL teaching materials for fist aid learning. The first part of the thesis focuses on CLIL method and its principles, first aid and its incorporation to the Framework Educational Program. The second part deals with creation of the teaching materials. Their verification took place at lower secondary level in the ninth grade during three lessons. It was found out that CLIL method did not influence the pupils' knowledge in a negative way, because they reached similar results as pupils who were aught in their mother tongue.

This master thesis is focused on the issue of providing first aid in combat conditions according to the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care. The centerpiece is a chapter on the TCCC program, which is supposed to provide medical training for all soldiers and medical personnel. The TCCC program is designed to be simple and effective for all staff to use. Every member of the army should thus be able, even with limited material resources, to keep a soldier alive even in his most demanding conditions at least for the necessary time. The aim of this thesis was to map how the members of the Czech Army are prepared to provide first aid in a dangerous environment. The second objective was to map their knowledge in providing first aid in a dangerous environment, reflecting the effectiveness and efficiency of medical training of members of the Czech Army. Qualitative methods were used to achieve the objectives. The research part consisted of non-standardized questionnaires, which served to evaluate the medical training and to verify the knowledge of the Czech Army members in providing first aid according to the TCCC principles. The second part of the research was supplemented by semi-structured interviews with non-medical medical staff of the units. The results show that medical training does not fully comply with the current concept of training of units of the Czech Army and other documents. It is also evident from the research that members of the Czech Army should be educated more on the theoretical level in relation to the provision of first aid according to the TCCC principles, as the awareness of this issue appeared to be minimal. The obtained knowledge will be used both by unit medics leading medical training and by unit commanders who organise medical training and can thus avoid the mentioned deficiencies. Furthermore, the findings can also be used by all other members of the Army of the Czech Republic who are interested in the issue in question and want to find a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of information.

Title: Project method of teaching pre-medical first aid Abstract: This thesis addresses the teaching of first aid at the second level of secondary schools with focus on the project method of teaching. In the introduction the reasons leading to selection of topic are mentioned. This is followed by the objectives set for this thesis. The theoretical part is devoted to school documents and the theoretical basis for teaching first aid, which includes the definition of first aid, emergency calls, guidelines for providing first aid at selected life- threatening conditions. Among the very important chapters of the theoretical part is the didactics of first aid, which aims to provide useful advice for creating the most effective first aid teaching in terms of organization and methodology. The chapter also briefly discusses topics such as teaching objectives, motivation, didactic principles of teaching, methods and organisational forms of teaching. In the research part of my thesis, I aim to compare whether project-based or frontal teaching organisational form of teaching is more effective for first aid teaching. The theme of bachelor´s thesis was Drowning in pre-hospital emergency care. There were set three goals that mapped paramedic´s procedure when they provide pre-hospital emergency care for drowning adult person. Further the prcedure of paramedics in providing pre-hospital emergency care for drowning child. Available rescue aids used in providing pre-hospital emergency care for drowning persons. There was also set three research questions which were answered during the research investigation. The teoretical part of the bachelor´s thesis was dedicated to pre-hospital emergency care, The Water Rescue Service and The Medical Rescue Service. The thesis further describes the definiton of drowning, getting drowned, first aid for drowning, basic emergency first aid and extended emergency resuscitation. Practical part was made by qualitative method using semi-structured interview technique, which contained 21 questions. The research group was made by 6 members of the Water Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region and 14 paramedics from individual regional centres of the South Bohemian Region Medical Rescue Service. The results of the research was divided into 9 categories for clarity and processed into tables. The research showed, that members of the Water Rescuse Service and paramedics have sufficient theoretical knowledge as well as work experience in providing pre-hospital emergency care for drowning adult person. However, in the provision of pre-hospital emergency care for a drowning child, the members of the Water Rescue Service didn´t prove sufficient work experience. The interviews showed that members of the Water Rescue Service and paramedics are well equipped by rescue equipment for rescuing drowning person.

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to create three authorial didactic games on the topic of first aid for pupils of the second stage of elementary school. The games were created with the aim of acquiring and consolidating knowledge in the topic of first aid. The author of the work used games to teach pupils at the second stage of elementary school in a city located in the Pilsen Region in Šumava in an experimental group in class 9.A with 15 pupils and, on the other hand, in the school the same for the same topics in the control group in class 8.A with 20 pupils teaching conventional. The implementation of the teaching and the time allocation of the topic were practically the same for both groups. In connection with teaching, the author of the thesis created a test that pupils filled in just before the lesson, just after the lesson and after fourteen days after the lesson (Pretest, Posttest I. and Posttest II.). Another necessary requirement was a questionnaire for all pupils, also prepared by the author, which served for the evaluation of teaching and teaching pupils. Data obtained from tests and questionnaires were statistically evaluated. The evaluation of the Pretest showed an average score of 8.70 +- 2.41 points in the control group with a success rate of 51.2 % and in the experimental group of 9.67 +- 2.02 with a success rate of 56.9 %. In Posttest I., the control group achieved 15.05 +- 1.39 points with a success rate of 88.5 % and the experimental group 15.33 +- 1.99 points with a success rate of 90.2 %. In Posttest II., the first group received an average of 13.85 +- 3.47 points with a success rate of 81.5 % and the experimental group 13.80 +- 2.08 points with a success rate of 81.2 %. Using the evaluation of the Student's test and the ANOVA test, the author found that the difference between the results of the three tests was not evaluated as statistically significant. Student's test: Pretest - p = 0.83, Posttest I. - p = 0.53 and Posttest II. - p = 0.34 and test ANOVA: p = 0.88. The assessment of teaching by pupils was evaluated in the control group with an average mark of 1.40 +- 0.60 and in the experimental group 1.27 +- 0.57. The difference in mean values between the groups using the Student's test was not evaluated as statistically significant (p = 0.61). The teacher's assessment had an average mark of 1.20 +- 0.52 in the control group and 1.07 +- 0.25 in the experimental group. The difference in averages using the Student's test was not statistically significant (p=0.74). Although the currently valid Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education (FEP BE) does not pay much attention to the target group of first aid, the pupils of the mainstream school evaluated the topic and the way of transmitting information very positively. The first two games can force pupils to think about objective situations, and in the third game they become part of simulations, with each pupil trying out their authentic behavior in a given situation.

The diploma thesis offers an insight into the issues of first aid. The theoretical part describes the history of first aid, its legal basis and the distribution of first aid. Furthermore, the thesis describes the general procedure for providing first aid, the principles of safety in providing first aid and basic examination of the affected person's health are mentioned. The next chapter of this paper is devoted to dangerous injuries and conditions and their treatment. This chapter is followed by a description and solution to an emergency with a large number of injured. For psychological support is often needed at the scene of an emergency, a chapter on first psychological assistance is added into the thesis. The last chapters of the thesis are devoted to the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and the Police of the Czech Republic. The research part of the diploma thesis defines the methods and goals of own research and the results, which are then discussed in the discussion. The main goal of the thesis was to find out whether members of the Fire Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region and members of the Police of the Czech Republic in the South Bohemian Region have sufficient knowledge in the field of first aid at the scene of an emergency. Part of this goal was also to answer research questions: Does the knowledge of members of the Fire Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region reach 90% in the given issue? Does the knowledge of members of the Police of the Czech Republic in the South Bohemian Region reach the same level as the knowledge of members of the Fire Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region in the given issue? To determine this information, a questionnaire survey was used, in which a total of 125 members of the surveyed units participated. The research has revealed that the knowledge of members of the Fire Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region does not reach the necessary limits and is therefore low. The knowledge of members of the Police of the Czech Republic in the South Bohemian Region reaches a lower level than the knowledge of members of the Fire Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region.

Title: Kiteborading safety Aims: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze the most important safety aspects of kiteboarding, to propose a methodology for solving the crisis situations, how to prevent them and how to provide first aid in the event of an accident. Methods: The bachelor's thesis was processed in the form of a search, in which I used the method of analysis and comparison. I analyzed the collected data from the information sources, and I used the method of comparison when comparing the research thesis with frequent injuries. The bachelor thesis on the topic "The level of public knowledge in giving first aid to the patients after traumatic ampuation." consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical, where the anatomy of the limbs, distribution and levels of amputations are described. Furthermore, first aid for the general public and first aid performed by paramedics are described. This part also includes the competencies of a paramedic. In this work, the issue of replantation and complications after amputation is also mentioned. The second part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the practical part thanks to quantitative research using semi-structured anonymous questionnaires. The main goal of the research was to find out whether the general public has sufficient information about first aid after traumatic amputation. After evaluating the data, it was found that most respondents had about half of the questions correct. The main aim of this thesis is to review empirical research regarding the given topic and to outline possible connection between disgust and first aid. Objectives The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to compare lifeguard education in Czech Republic, that is claimed by czech National qualification system and lifeguards education that is required by American Red Cross in the United States of America. Methods The methods used in this bachelor thesis are analysis, synthesis and comparison of those searched information. Results The results of this thesis are information about relevant lifeguard education in Czech Republic and the United States of America in swimming, rescuing drowning victims and first aid departments. The Master's thesis deals with the Content and Language Integrated Learning in German (CLILiG) of the topic of first aid, which is part of the subject of natural history at upper primary school. Its main goal was to create four CLILiG activities and verify them in practice. The theoretical part describes the key concepts associated with the creation of activities. It focuses on the general principles, objectives, methods and assessment in the CLIL approach, which links content and language learning. Attention is paid mainly to CLILiG approach. The methodological support and connection of CLILiG with the topic of first aid at upper primary school was also analysed. The practical part is focused on the creation and verification of activities with the topics of first aid for fractures, bleeding, loss of consciousness, burns and epileptic seizures. The research connected with their verification took place during natural history lessons of Year 8 pupils at the primary school in České Budějovice. The results showed that the proposed activities increase pupils' knowledge of first aid even more than during lessons without CLIL (p = 0.043). However, the effect of CLILiG on longer-term memorization has not been demonstrated via pretest-posttest design (p = 0.072). Pupils also rated the completed CLILiG activities; they liked the didactic game First Aid the most (average grade 1.7). At the beginning of the research, a short questionnaire survey was conducted, in which pupils included in the experiment participated. It showed that pupils were interested in learning natural history through a foreign language (10% of pupils would really enjoy it, 42% of pupils would enjoy it, 38% of pupils did not know, 10% of pupils would not enjoy it). However, they would prefer the English language (78% chose English, 13% English and German). Acquisition of foreign language skills in connection with the topic of first aid is then considered important (82.6% of pupils) and useful (87% of pupils).

The aim of thesis was to design and to verify the author's education programme on chosen topics about first aid. The verification of the programme had to take place, due to long-term schools closure, in two parallel eight grade classes in the form of distance learning in one of the elementary schools in Ceske Budejovice. Before the lesson, the students had to fill in Pretest, that was supposed to discover students' existing knowledge of the topic of first aid. An experimental class was chosen randomly, in which the lesson was led with the help of the instructional videos of the author's programme, practical drill, didactic game, crosswords and wordsearch. Control group was taught conventionally through monologue with the help of Microsoft Powerpoint presentation following with students' filling in a worksheet. The second day of the lessons, each class filled in a Posttest I and two weeks later a Posttest II, in both cases these were two identical didactic tests. The principle Pretest - Posttest verified the effectiveness of the relevant education project and through the statistical analysis of the t-test it was discovered that a statistically significant increase of the knowledge level in both groups of students occurred. Because both groups improved and then worsened, the chosen type of teaching did not affect their knowledge level. The difference of the Pretest, Posttest I and Posttest II was statistically different in favour of the experimental group contrary to the control group and also in favour of boys contrary to girls. Perception of the importance of the first aid topic changed in time in the way that students assigned the topic more value. The verified education material could be a benefit to biology lessons in upper primary schools.

The bachelor's thesis in its theoretical part presents the topic of first aid at the legislative level and also offers the principles of first aid in acute complications of selected chronic diseases and injuries. The principles are adapted to the role of the teacher of preschool children. The practical part of the work summarizes the results of a questionnaire survey of 144 teachers of kindergartens, especially in the southern part of the Czech Republic and finds out what is the level of knowledge in the field of providing first aid to children by kindergarten teachers. Based on these responses, it turned out that respondents with less than 21 years of experience (average test success rates of 67,5% and 67,7%) were more aware of the correct provision of first aid according to current recommendations than the group of teachers with more than 21 years of experience (average success rate of the test 62,8%), or that the respondents manage to provide first aid for injuries (e.g. falls from a height or burns) rather than for complications of chronic diseases (e.g. allergies or epilepsy). Furthermore, the survey showed that not all teachers are regularly trained in first aid.

Title: Education of primary and secondary school teachers in first aid and their evaluation of this issue Objectives: The main object of this work was to find out how teachers on primary and secondary school evaluate content and form of first aid education. Partial goal was to find out how do they rate their owns skills in providing first aid and act corectly in situations, which endanger their student's health. Methods: This is qualitative research, which uses an empirical method of questionnaire survey. 34 primary and secondary school teachers in the Czech republic attended a test battery. A test battery of 24 questions was compiled to collect the answers and it's distribution was carried out via the survio.cz platform. Results: The study suggested, that primary and secondary schools's teachers rate first aid education as important, but they prefer to be educated in range of skills, which they can in their work need. Most of the teachers, who work in environment with an increased risk of injury, evaluates school¨'s attitude to this issue as inadequate and they would be grateful for better conditions for mastering first aid procedures. The topic of this bachelor thesis is called: "Risks related to diving and their prevention." The theoretical part is mainly focused on health risks which arise during scuba diving and follow-up prevention of the health risks. Furthermore, the following topics are mentioned in the theoretical part: a history of diving, biophysical concepts, and necessary equipment. Because of this topic, it was important to include chapters about first aid, treatment and medical fitness for diving. A reduction of health risks was chosen as the main objective in the practical part. There were 5 research questions created. 1. What is the training of divers? 2. What is suitable equipment for diving? 3. What conditions are convenient for diving? 4. What is currently the prevention of health damage during diving? 5. How can we reduce the risk of health damage? The qualitative research measurements were used for the creation of the research part of this bachelor thesis. A semi-structured interview containing 15 questions was created to get the data. There were 15 divers chosen for the interviews, 5 professional divers and 5 hobby divers. According to the results, it was found that there is a fundamental difference in the knowledge of the divers about this topic. Very often the risks are caused by insufficient preparedness and knowledge of the diver, not handling of the panic and stress, and a wrong reaction. Disobeying of precautions and principles often contributes to that. The results of this bachelor thesis may be helpful in completing education and information of divers, but also medical staff.

The aim of the Diploma thesis is the analysis of "The human protection during common risks and incidents" with the focus on its integration into the lessons of Citizenship and Social Sciences. It is an issue recently classified into the contents of education, and lacks of literature oriented on teaching particularities of the theme. The Diploma thesis contains the analysis of RVP (general educational schedule) for elementary and secondary schools with the focus on the given topic, and the explanation of basic terms and categories of the sphere of the human protection during common risks and incidents. The empiric part of the thesis incorporates some proposals how to layout the curriculum into the individual grades of elementary and secondary schools, including the analysis of teaching methods and teaching materials connected with this topic.

Poskytnutí první pomoci by mělo patřit mezi základní dovednosti všech občanů. Důležitou roli v této oblasti pak hrají zejména učitelé, neboť právě děti školního věku jim svěřené patří, pokud jde o úrazy a nehody, do výrazně rizikové skupiny. Zřetelné je to zejména v hodinách tělesné výchovy, v nichž se tyto nebezpečné faktory objevují častěji a mohou být i primární příčinou dětských úmrtí. Učitelé jsou i podstatnou součástí realizace preventivních opatření, směřujících ke snížení, nejlépe až k úplné eliminaci úrazů a zranění. Nezastupitelní jsou pak, jako osoby nehodám dětí fyzicky bezprostředně přítomné, v poskytování první pomoci. V této práci se proto věnuji situacím, v nichž se učitelé nejčastěji setkávají s nutností poskytnout první pomoc, a to s přednostním zaměřením na hodiny tělesné výchovy. Zajímám se rovněž o to, zda jsou učitelé v těchto událostech schopni včas a správně reagovat. This Bachelor thesis deals with providing of professional first aid during motorcycle races in Czech Republic and abroad. A notion "motorcycle races" in this work is narrowed down only to "sidecarcross". In this field there is a high risk of injury because of the variable nature of the track, weight and power of the machine. These injuries are most frequent causes of death of working-age people. Therefore it is so important to provide pre-hospital care immediately after any accident right on the track. The objective of this thesis is to map these types of races from the point of view of health insurance and to determine qualification of personnel at the place of accident. The thesis is compiled from semi-structured interviews at sporting venues. Interviews were conducted with two groups of respondents. The first was group of organisers of international championship races in Czech Republic and world championship. The second group was composed of medical personnel providing health care right at the tracks. The research has pointed out missing legislative support of this issue and the resulting disunity during providing sporting events.

The bachelor thesis deals with issues of prosocial behavior and altruism. To help another person is the purpose of prosocial behavior. Altruism is closely connected with prosocial behavior. Organism often performs altruistic aid at the expense of itself. The importance of prosocial behavior is shown in the model of first aid delivery. The following chapters summarize basic information about laic first aid and its effect on survival chain of disabled person focusing on factors which can influence the first aid delivery. The main purpose of this thesis is to create a review of original research regarding the given topic and a comprehensive overview of the mentioned factors. Human behavior in given situations can be influenced by many different phenomenons. The most common effects are the effect of onlookers, kinship or emotional attachment to the injured person, knowledge of proper first aid procedures, the degree of stress and the age of the rescuer. The most important factor is the presence of danger which, in evolutionary terms, relate to the disgust dimension associated with fear of being injured or infected with an infectious disease and related decreasing of biological fitness of individual.

To give the lay first aid is not necessary to have any special knowledge or equipment. Nowadays, there is being put more emphasis on the lay first aid. As a population, we are living in time when the techniques, devices and professional abilities are on high level, but without a quality lay first aid could be almost impossible to heal a patient with sudden circulation arrest if we want him to leave a hospital in the same state of health like he had come. In this bachelor theses we tried to find out the degree of theoretical and practical knowledge of selected groups of population. We chose two goals. First of them was to find out the degree of theoretical knowledge of chosen groups of population and the second one was to ascertain the level of practical abilities of the same groups. Two research questions were used to reach these goals. First question was: What is the theoretical knowledge of the first aid of these selected groups of population like? The second question was: What are the practical abilities of giving the first aid by these groups of public like? The research was a combination of two qualitative methods. First method was a half-structured dialog and the second one a disinterested obvious observation. The researched group of population was formed by teachers at grammar schools, in this case we focused on injuries or states in adult age. Teachers at kindergartens were asked about injuries and states in childhood. From the dialogs was found out that each respondent was able to give the first aid. What attracted our attention, was that an employer was of great importance to training of first aid. Frequent mistake was wrong breath control, when the respondents didn´t tilt patient´s head back and didn´t call any expert assistance, which means that a first aid training might be convenient for each of these researched teachers.
