The fundamental principle of the transient state control method for turbofan engines, which is based on the acceleration ratio of high-pressure rotational speed (N-dot), involves sacrificing a portion of the safety margin to obtain satisfactory acceleration performance. However, it could induce surge in the engine's compressor. To prevent the destructive damage caused by surge to both the engine and its components, a surge-elimination control strategy for the engine based on an N-dot controller is proposed. First, the engine mathematical model, which incorporates the effects of engine volumetric dynamics, stall zone characteristics, and combustion chamber flameout characteristics, is established to simulate surge mechanism. Subsequently, the acceleration schedule of the N-dot is calculated by employing sequential quadratic programming (SQP) algorithm to solve the multiconstraint optimization problem, while designing the transition state controller of N-dot based on a high-order filter. Finally, the surge detection logic and surge-elimination strategy based on the µ-correction method are proposed and designed to realize active control of surge elimination. The simulation results demonstrate that the N-dot control method offers significant advantages in mitigating the steady-state errors resulting from inevitable engine degradations. The surge state is effectively suppressed by the proposed surge-elimination control method, and the surge duration is significantly shorten during the acceleration phases. In this paper, a network model named DCC-Net based on infrared image sensor is developed for sports data management. Optical imaging plays an important role in the collection and analysis of sports data, but the traditional methods have limitations in the aspects of illumination change and motion blur. To solve these problems, we propose a DCC-net network model based on infrared image sensor. The background of this study is to improve the efficiency of collection and management of sports data in order to promote the improvement of athletes' training and competitive performance. We use a combination of convolutional neural networks and recurrent neural networks to extract and understand motion information in infrared images. The experimental results show that the DCC-net network model has better performance than the traditional optical method in the aspects of illumination variation and motion blur, and provides more accurate and stable motion data. Therefore, DCC-net network model based on infrared image sensor is an effective sports data management tool, which can provide more comprehensive and accurate training and competitive support for athletes and coaches. As an important principle of international environmental law, the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities (the CBDR principle) is being applied to various international environment protection regimes including environmental governance on the high seas as an important guiding principle in the law of the sea. This may be beneficial for engaging the international community to protect the high seas in solidarity. However, the application of the CBDR principle encounters difficulties, which include obstacles regarding cross-sector application, different understandings of the CBDR principle and difficulties in implementation of international instruments. This article argues that the differentiation should not depend exclusively on the traditional dichotomy of developing and developed countries but must be determined on a fluid and case-by-case basis. This suggests that the details of the differentiated responsibilities should also be context-specific rather than uniform for all States. Moreover, the implementation of the CBDR principle to address environmental problems on the high seas should be based on substantive fairness. Finally, this article makes several observations. First, the demands of developing countries in the field of maritime emission reduction should be considered. Second, obligation of capacity building and the transfer of marine technology prescribed in the BBNJ Agreement should be encouraged and implemented. Third, strengthening international cooperation in plastic pollution control on the high seas is expected. Fourth, the international community should provide developing countries with the financial support and technical assistance in persistent organic pollutants control. Objective: To investigate the clinical value of the expression levels of tumor protein D52 (TPD52) and miR-133a on the prognosis assessment of pancreatic cancer surgery. Methods: This was a retrospective study. Ninety-seven patients who underwent radical surgery for pancreatic cancer in Cangzhou Central Hospital from January 2018 to January 2022 were selected and divided into four groups: TPD52 high expression group, TPD52 low expression group, miR-133a high expression group and miR-133a low expression group. The relationship between the expression levels of TPD52 and miR-133a and the clinicopathological features of patients with pancreatic cancer was analyzed. The COX regression model was used to analyze the risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer. Results: The high expression rate of TPD52 and the low expression rate of miR-133a in pancreatic cancer tissues were higher than those in normal paracancerous tissues(P<0.05). Based on the comparison of prognosis and survival, the median survival time of patients with high expression of TPD52 and low expression of miR-133a was lower than that of patients with low expression of TPD52 and high expression of miR-133a, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Moreover, multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that low differentiation of pancreatic cancer, III-IV stage of TNM, high expression of TPD52, as well as low expression of miR-133a were independent risk factors for postoperative survival of patients with pancreatic cancer(P<0.05). Conclusion: TPD52 is expressed at a high level whereas miR-133a at a low level in pancreatic cancer tissues, both of which together with low differentiation of pancreatic cancer and III-IV stage of TNM constitute independent risk factors affecting the surgical prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer. N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most predominant RNA epigenetic regulation in eukaryotic cells. Numerous evidence revealed that m6A modification exerts a crucial role in the regulation of tumor microenvironment (TME) cell infiltration in several tumors. Nevertheless, the potential role and mechanism of m6A modification in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) remains unknown. mRNA expression data and clinical information from GSE102349, and GSE53819 datasets obtained from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) was used for differential gene expression and subsequent analysis. Consensus clustering was used to identify m6A-related molecular patterns of 88 NPC samples based on prognostic m6A regulators using Univariate Cox analysis. The TME cell-infiltrating characteristics of each m6A-related subclass were explored using single-sample gene set enrichment (ssGSEA) algorithm and CIBERSORT algotithm. DEGs between two m6A-related subclasses were screened using edgeR package. The prognostic signature and predicated nomogram were constructed based on the m6A-related DEGs. The cell infiltration and expression of prognostic signature in NPC was determined using immunohistochemistry (IHC) analysis. Chi-square test was used to analysis the significance of difference of the categorical variables. And survival analysis was performed using Kaplan-Meier plots and log-rank tests. The NPC samples were divided into two m6A-related subclasses. The TME cell-infiltrating characteristics analyses indicated that cluster 1 is characterized by immune-related and metabolism pathways activation, better response to anit-PD1 and anti-CTLA4 treatment and chemotherapy. And cluster 2 is characterized by stromal activation, low expression of HLA family and immune checkpoints, and a worse response to antiPD1 and anti-CTLA4 treatment and chemotherapy. Furthermore, we identified 1558 DEGs between two m6A-related subclasses and constructed prognostic signatures to predicate the progression-free survival (PFS) for NPC patients. Compared to non-tumor samples, REEP2, TMSB15A, DSEL, and ID4 were upregulated in NPC samples. High expression of REEP2 and TMSB15A showed poor survival in NPC patients. The interaction between REEP2, TMSB15A, DSEL, ID4, and m6A regulators was detected. Introduction: Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP) has become a common option for the treatment of prostate cancer. The aim of our study was to examine whether LRP performed within 12 weeks of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is associated with surgical difficulty or outcomes. Material and methods: A single-institutional retrospective analysis was performed on patients who underwent LRP for incidental prostate cancer after TURP between July 2009 and December 2017. The interval between TURP and LRP was determined and patients with intervals of = 12 weeks were compared to those with intervals of > 12 weeks. Patient characteristics, perioperative, pathological, and postoperative functional outcomes were analyzed to determine statistically significant differences between the 2 groups. Multivariable analyses were performed to determine whether the interval between TURP and LRP was a significant independent predictor of these outcomes. Results: A total of 56 incidental prostate cancer patients detected by TURP were included in this study. No significant differences were detected in estimated blood loss, operative duration, postoperative length of stay, and rate of positive margin, Gleason score upgrading, major complications, incontinence and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) recurrence in patients with a TURP to LRP interval above and below 12 weeks. The TURP to LRP interval was not an independent predictor of outcomes during or after LRP. As high-energy cathode materials, conversion-type metal fluorides provide a prospective pathway for developing next-generation lithium-ion batteries. However, they suffer from severe performance decay owing to continuous structural destruction and active material dissolution upon cycling, which worsen at elevated temperatures. Here, we design a novel FeF2 cathode with in situ polymerized solid-state electrolyte systems to enhance the cycling ability of metal fluorides at 60 °C. Novel FeF2 with a mesoporous structure (meso-FeF2) improves Li+ diffusion and relieves the volume change that typically occurs during the alternating conversion reactions. The structural stability of the meso-FeF2 cathode is strengthened by an in situ polymerized solid-state electrolyte, which prevents the pulverization and ion dissolution that are inevitable for conventional liquid electrolytes. Under the double action of this in situ polymerized solid-state electrolyte and the meso-FeF2's mesoporous structure, the active material maintains an intact SEI layer and part of the mesoporous structure after long charge-discharge cycling, showing excellent cycling stability at high temperatures. Background: Trachelospermi Caulis et Folium, the stems and leaves of Trachelospermumjasminoides (Lindl.) Lem, has been used as a remedy for rheumatism, gonarthritis, backacheand pharyngitis, according to the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The anti-inflammatory effects of the potential active fraction were verifiedbycell experiments in vitro. Results: Forty-one compounds, mainly are lignans and nine of whichwere reported for the first time from the genus of Trachelospermum, were characterizedusingultra-high performance liquid chromatography quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometrymethod. Molecular docking results showed these identified lignans had excellent interactions with the inducible nitric oxide synthase enzyme, and the lignans-enrichedfraction could significantly inhibit the release of nitric oxide and the expression of induciblenitric oxide synthase protein in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. Indoor navigation networks serve as the foundation for indoor pedestrian navigation services. However, current graph-based topological network models cannot easily represent complex indoor structures in a manner consistent with user behaviour and cognitive patterns, and thus cannot support fine-grained indoor navigation analysis services. To enhance the rationality of the model, we considered the influences of morphological and functional characteristics of indoor spaces on pedestrian movement and proposed a method for classifying navigation spaces. This method, based on convex space segmentation, defines morphological and functional characteristic functions, classifying indoor navigation spaces as either corridors or open spaces, which suitable for representing as median axis models or visual graphs, respectively. These categories supported the creation of topological network models for route planning analysis. Indoor map experiments confirmed the effectiveness of our method in identifying various types of corridors and open spaces, that addressing the limitations of width-based parameters, even in complex indoor settings. Stochastic averaging, as an effective technique for dimension reduction, is of great significance in stochastic dynamics and control. However, its practical applications in industrial and engineering fields are severely hindered by its dependence on governing equations and the complexity of mathematical operations. Herein, a data-driven method, named data-driven stochastic averaging, is developed to automatically discover the low-dimensional stochastic differential equations using only the random state data captured from the original high-dimensional dynamical systems. This method includes two successive steps, that is, extracting all slowly varying processes hidden in fast-varying state data and identifying drift and diffusion coefficients by their mathematical definitions. It automates dimension reduction and is especially suitable for cases with unavailable governing equations and excitation data. Its application, efficacy, and comparison with theory-based stochastic averaging are illustrated through several examples, numerical or experimental, with pure Gaussian white noise excitation or combined excitations. Soil wind erosion is one of the critical drivers of land degradation in the black soil region of northeastern China. In this study, 137Cs background value and soil wind erosion rate was studied by using 137Cs nuclide tracing technique in the black soil region of northeastern China, and wind erosion characteristics such as background value and soil erosion rate over the years were clarified, which has guiding significance for soil and water conservation and agricultural sustainable development in the black soil region of northeast China. The mean area activity of the Hilltop area was 1541 Bq·m-2, which was lower than the background value of 1879.7 Bq·m-2 in the study area. At the top of the hill, soil erosion occurred to some extent. The 137Cs profile has distributional characteristics that can be divided into three categories. Most of the 137Cs area activity in Hilltop area is evenly distributed in 0-15 cm, and the 137Cs area activity below 15 cm decreased gradually until it disappeared. The spatial difference of wind erosion rate is significant in the study area, mainly between 7.17-10.13 t·hm-2a-1. The average wind erosion rate of hilltops with different tillage quality depths has little difference. The average wind erosion rate is 8.60 t·hm-2a-1, which belongs to mild erosion. However, its erosion rate is higher than the tolerable soil loss of 2 t·hm-2a-1 in the black soil region of northeast China. Men or mice with homozygous serine/threonine kinase 33 (STK33) mutations are sterile owing to defective sperm morphology and motility. To chemically evaluate STK33 for male contraception with STK33-specific inhibitors, we screened our multibillion-compound collection of DNA-encoded chemical libraries, uncovered potent STK33-specific inhibitors, determined the STK33 kinase domain structure bound with a truncated hit CDD-2211, and generated an optimized hit CDD-2807 that demonstrates nanomolar cellular potency (half-maximal inhibitory concentration = 9.2 nanomolar) and favorable metabolic stability. In mice, CDD-2807 exhibited no toxicity, efficiently crossed the blood-testis barrier, did not accumulate in brain, and induced a reversible contraceptive effect that phenocopied genetic STK33 perturbations without altering testis size. The endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRTs) are responsible for membrane remodeling in many cellular processes, such as multivesicular body biogenesis, viral budding, and cytokinetic abscission. ESCRT-III, the most abundant ESCRT subunit, assembles into flat spirals as the primed state, essential to initiate membrane invagination. However, the three-dimensional architecture of ESCRT-III flat spirals remained vague for decades due to highly curved filaments with a small diameter and a single preferred orientation on the membrane. Here, we unveiled that yeast Snf7, a component of ESCRT-III, forms flat spirals on the lipid monolayers using cryogenic electron microscopy. We developed a geometry-constrained Euler angle--assigned reconstruction strategy and obtained moderate-resolution structures of Snf7 flat spirals with varying curvatures. Our analyses showed that Snf7 subunits recline on the membrane with N-terminal motifs α0 as anchors, adopt an open state with fused α2/3 helices, and bend α2/3 gradually from the outer to inner parts of flat spirals. In all, we provide the orientation and conformations of ESCRT-III flat spirals on the membrane and unveil the underlying assembly mechanism, which will serve as the initial step in understanding how ESCRTs drive membrane abscission. Plants often adapt to adverse or stress conditions via differential growth. The trans-Golgi network (TGN) has been implicated in stress responses, but it is not clear in what capacity it mediates adaptive growth decisions. In this study, we assess the role of the TGN in stress responses by exploring the previously identified interactome of the Transport Protein Particle II (TRAPPII) complex required for TGN structure and function. We identified physical and genetic interactions between AtTRAPPII and shaggy-like kinases (GSK3/AtSKs) and provided in vitro and in vivo evidence that the TRAPPII phosphostatus mediates adaptive responses to abiotic cues. AtSKs are multifunctional kinases that integrate a broad range of signals. Similarly, the AtTRAPPII interactome is vast and considerably enriched in signaling components. An AtSK-TRAPPII interaction would integrate all levels of cellular organization and instruct the TGN, a central and highly discriminate cellular hub, as to how to mobilize and allocate resources to optimize growth and survival under limiting or adverse conditions. Peste des petits ruminants is an acute and highly contagious disease caused by the Peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV). Host proteins play a crucial role in viral replication. However, the effect of fusion (F) protein-interacting partners on PPRV infection is poorly understood. In this study, we found that the expression of goat plasminogen activator urokinase (PLAU) gradually decreased in a time- and dosedependent manner in PPRV-infected goat alveolar macrophages (GAMs). Goat PLAU was subsequently identified using co-immunoprecipitation and confocal microscopy as an F protein binding partner. The overexpression of goat PLAU inhibited PPRV growth and replication, whereas silencing goat PLAU promoted viral growth and replication. Additionally, we confirmed that goat PLAU interacted with a virus-induced signaling adapter (VISA) to antagonize F-mediated VISA degradation, increasing the production of type I interferon. We also found that goat PLAU reduced the inhibition of PPRV replication in VISA-knockdown GAMs. Our results show that the host protein PLAU inhibits the growth and replication of PPRV by VISA-triggering RIG-I-like receptors and provides insight into the host protein that antagonizes PPRV immunosuppression. IMPORTANCE The role of host proteins that interact with Peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV) fusion (F) protein in PPRV replication is poorly understood. This study confirmed that goat plasminogen activator urokinase (PLAU) interacts with the PPRV F protein. We further discovered that goat PLAU inhibited PPRV replication by enhancing virus-induced signaling adapter (VISA) expression and reducing the ability of the F protein to degrade VISA. Based on the laser flash method, the selection of experimental parameters on the accuracy of measurement results for measuring thermal diffusivity is investigated in this paper. High purity graphite is employed as the experimental material. Three experimental parameters are taken into consideration, including specimen thickness, laser pulse power, and laser pulse width. Firstly, the principle of the laser flash method is introduced. Then, a numerical simulation model is established and independence tests are performed. In order to investigate the impact of different experimental parameters to the precision of the measurement results using the laser flash method, six thicknesses of the specimens, five laser pulse powers, and five laser pulse widths are selected for numerical simulation and LFA 427 measurement experiments. Finally, an orthogonal design method with three-factor and three-level is constructed to investigate the influence degree of these three factors on the measurement results. It is found that the laser pulse width has the most significant influence, while the laser pulse power has the least impact. For high purity graphite specimens, it is required to choose a thicker specimen, a lower laser pulse power, and a smaller laser pulse width to ensure better measurement accuracy. Background: Sperm quality plays an important role in the animal industry. The study of the sperm quality of Congjiang Xiang pigs is limited and the Rh123/PI double staining has not been used to detect the sperm quality of boars. Thus, the study aimed to evaluate the sperm quality of the Congjiang Xiang pigs and the feasibility of the flow cytometry (FCM) method in assessing sperm quality in pigs. Methods: Semen samples were evaluated for routine indicators of semen quality and using FCM with single staining and double staining to analyze the integrity of membrane and acrosome, the mitochondrial function. The sperm quality of the Congjiang Xiang pigs was compared with the Large White pigs. Result: The semen of the Congjiang Xiang pigs had a lower sperm concentration than that of the Large White pigs (P<0.01). There were no significant differences in sperm vitality, sperm motility and abnormality between the two breeds (P>0.05). Single sperm staining revealed a lower sperm acrosomal integrity in the semen of the Congjiang Xiang pigs than that of the Large White pigs (P<0.01). No significant difference between the two breeds in membrane integrity and mitochondrial function was observed (P>0.05). Rh123/PI double staining demonstrated that the rate of live sperm with a normal mitochondrial function of the Congjiang Xiang pigs was significantly higher than that of the Large White pigs (P<0.05). The rate of necrotic sperms in the semen of the Congjiang Xiang pigs was significantly lower than that in the semen of the Large White pigs (P<0.05). Correlation analysis revealed a positive association between the rates of live sperm in the semen of the congjiang xiang pigs and their sperm motility (P=0.051). Organic electrodes mainly consisting of C, O, H, and N are promising candidates for advanced batteries. However, the sluggish ionic and electronic conductivity limit the full play of their high theoretical capacities. Here, we integrate the idea of metal-support interaction in single-atom catalysts with π--d hybridization into the design of organic electrode materials for the applications of lithium (LIBs) and potassium-ion batteries (PIBs). Several types of transition metal single atoms (e.g., Co, Ni, Fe) with π--d hybridization are incorporated into the semiconducting covalent organic framework (COF) composite. Single atoms favorably modify the energy band structure and improve the electronic conductivity of COF. More importantly, the electronic interaction between single atoms and COF adjusts the binding affinity and modifies ion traffic between Li/K ions and the active organic units of COFs as evidenced by extensive in situ and ex situ characterizations and theoretical calculations. The corresponding LIB achieves a high reversible capacity of 1,023.0 mA h g-1 after 100 cycles at 100 mA g-1 and 501.1 mA h g-1 after 500 cycles at 1,000 mA g-1. The corresponding PIB delivers a high reversible capacity of 449.0 mA h g-1 at 100 mA g-1 after 150 cycles and stably cycled over 500 cycles at 1,000 mA g-1. Nitrogen (N) is an essential nutrient for plant growth, and most plants absorb it as nitrate. AtNRG2 has been reported to play an important role in nitrate regulation. In this study, we investigated the functions of AtNRG2 family members of Arabidopsis thaliana and maize in nitrate signalling and metabolism. Our results showed that both AtNRG2.10 and AtNRG2.15 regulated nitrate signalling and metabolism. Overexpression of AtNRG2.11 (AtNRG2) could promote plant growth and improve nitrogen use efficiency (NUE). In addition, the maize genome harbors 23 ZmNRG2 members. We detected the expression of these genes treated with nitrate and the expression of four genes was strongly induced with ZmNRG2.7 having the highest levels. Overexpression of ZmNRG2.7 in the atnrg2 mutant could restore the defects of atnrg2, suggesting that ZmNRG2.7 is involved in nitrate signalling and metabolism. Moreover, the overexpression lines of ZmNRG2.7 showed increased biomass and NUE. These findings demonstrate that at least a part of NRG2 family genes in Arabidopsis and maize regulate nitrate signalling and provide a molecular basis for improving the NUE of crops. Data-driven equation identification for dynamical systems has achieved great progress, which for static systems, however, has not kept pace. Unlike dynamical systems, static systems are time invariant, so we cannot capture discrete data along the time stream, which requires identifying governing equations only from scarce data. This work is devoted to this topic, building a data-driven method for extracting the differential-variational equations that govern static behaviors only from scarce, noisy data of responses, loads, as well as the values of system attributes if available. Compared to the differential framework typically adopted in equation identification, the differential-variational framework, due to its spatial integration and variation arbitrariness, brings some advantages, such as high robustness to data noise and low requirements on data amounts. The application, efficacy, and all the aforementioned advantages of this method are demonstrated by four numerical examples, including three continuous systems and one discrete system. Diffusible signal factor (DSF) family signals represent a unique group of quorum sensing (QS) chemicals that modulate a wide range of behaviors for bacteria to adapt to different environments. However, whether DSF-mediated QS signaling acts as a public language to regulate the behavior of biocontrol and pathogenic bacteria remains unknown. In this study, we present groundbreaking evidence demonstrating that RpfFXc1 or RpfFOH11 could be a conserved DSF-family signal synthase in Xanthomonas campestris or Lysobacter enzymogenes. Interestingly, we found that both RpfFOH11 and RpfFXc1 have the ability to synthesize DSF and BDSF signaling molecules. DSF and BDSF positively regulate the biosynthesis of an antifungal factor (heat-stable antifungal factor, HSAF) in L. enzymogenes. Finally, we show that RpfFXc1 and RpfFOH11 have similar functions in regulating HSAF production in L. enzymogenes, as well as the virulence, synthesis of virulence factors, biofilm formation, and extracellular polysaccharide production in X. campestris. Bicyclol, an innovative hepatoprotective drug, was approved by the Chinese National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in 2001 to treat Hepatitis B and drug-induced liver injury. Two active metabolites of bicyclol have been identified as M2 and M3. To evaluate the impact on drug safety and efficacy of possible drug-drug interactions (DDIs) associated with these metabolites, a sufficient quantity of these metabolites is required. Herein, we report a concise novel route for the synthesis of M2 and M3 using the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling as the key step. Furthermore, we complete the gram-scale syntheses of M2 and M3. Background: Soybean has long been utilized in the realm of traditional Chinese medicine. One of its extracts, soybean glycolipids, serves as a vital by-product of soybean oil refining, but its chemical composition and pharmacological potential have yet to be fully elucidated. Methods: In this study, the chemical components were isolated, and the inhibitory effects of these isolates were explored in different zebrafish inflammatory models by survival rate, Histological examination assay and quantitative Real-time PCR assay. The cytotoxicity of daidzin in RAW264.7 cells was evaluated by cell viability assay, and the effect of daidzin on the release of inflammatory cytokines in RAW264.7 cells was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Western blotting, immunofluorescence assay and alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors siRNA transfection assay were used to further explore the anti-inflammatory mechanism of daidzin. Results: Four compounds (verticilloside, soya-cerebroside I, soya-cerebroside II and daidzin) were firstly isolated from the soybean glycolipids, among which verticilloside and daidzin inhibited the lipopolysaccharide, CuSO4- and tail cut-stimulated zebrafish inflammation. Noticeably, daidzin exhibited anti-inflammatory activities by increasing the survival rate, alleviating the inflammatory cells infiltration, and down-regulating the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and nuclear factor kappa-B, NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha, and signal transducer and activator of transcription3 in zebrafish. Moreover, daidzin decreased the secretion of IL-6 and TNF-α, inhibited the nuclear translocations of nuclear factor kappa-B p65 and p-signal transducer and activator of transcription3 as well as the NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha phosphorylation at Ser32 in RAW 264.7 cells. More importantly, it elevated the expression level of alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in both zebrafish and RAW 264.7 cells, and the inhibitory effect of daidzin was attenuated after the addition of alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors siRNA. Conclusion: Our study revealed that daidzin inhibited inflammation by activating the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway and further inhibiting the nuclear factor kappa-B and signal transducer and activator of transcription3 signaling. At the same time, it also promotes the recycling of crude soybean glycolipids and supports the potential use of daidzin as a functional food or natural dietary anti-inflammatory agent. Global cropland expansion has been recognized as a key driver of food security. However, cropland expansion induced alterations in biophysical properties of the Earth's surface and greenhouse gas emissions may potentially impact the Earth's climate system. These changes could, in turn, affect cropland productivity and the potential distribution of croplands, although the underlying mechanisms remain relatively underexplored. In this study, a global climate model was employed to quantify the impact of global cropland expansion on cropping potential, utilizing observed and derived cropland expansion data. Our findings reveal that since 10000 BC, a 28% increase in cropland expansion has led to a 1.2% enhancement in global cropping potential, owing to more favorable precipitation and temperature conditions. This suggests that global cropland expansion yields dual benefits to crop production. However, in regions with low growth rates of cropping potential, cropland expansion proves to be an inefficient method for augmenting local crop potential yield. Copper nanoparticle-based catalysts have been extensively applied in industry, but the nanoparticles tend to sinter into larger ones in the chemical atmospheres, which is detrimental to catalyst performance. In this work, we used dealuminated Beta zeolite to support copper nanoparticles (Cu/Beta-deAl) and showed that these particles become smaller in methanol vapor at 200°C, decreasing from ~5.6 to ~2.4 nanometers in diameter, which is opposite to the general sintering phenomenon. A reverse ripening process was discovered, whereby migratable copper sites activated by methanol were trapped by silanol nests and the copper species in the nests acted as new nucleation sites for the formation of small nanoparticles. This feature reversed the general sintering channel, resulting in robust catalysts for dimethyl oxalate hydrogenation performed with supported copper nanoparticles for use in industry. Purpose: To compare the accuracy, safety, and consistency of asymmetric trapezoid and near-square side-port incision in cataract surgery. Setting: Aier Eye Hospital of Wuhan University, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Design: Prospective pilot study. Methods: This study included patients who underwent phacoemulsification between January 2022 and August 2022. They were divided into Group A and Group B using the random number table method. Group A was given a near-square side-port incision and Group B was given an asymmetric trapezoid side-port incision. We contrasted the differences in incision length, width, and shape; surgical time; and postoperative intraocular pressure (IOP) between the 2 groups. Results: 220 eyes of 220 patients were included. The mean external width of the incision in Group A was much smaller than that in Group B (P < .01), and the consistency of the incision diameter in Group A was better than that in Group B. There was no statistically significant difference in incision length between the 2 groups (P = .75). 1 day after surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in incision morphology between the 2 groups (P = .72). The operating time for Group A was significantly shorter than that of Group B (P < .01). There was no obvious incision leakage in both groups after surgery, and the IOP was generally elevated after surgery, but there was no significant statistical difference between the 2 groups (P = .98). Hepatoblastoma, a common extracranial malignant solid tumor in childhood, is often detected at an advanced stage and is difficult to treat surgically. Despite the availability of multiple comprehensive treatments that can be combined with surgery, hepatoblastoma treatment outcomes remain poor. Surgery is the main treatment strategy for hepatoblastoma, but it faces many challenges, including tumor attachment to surrounding tissues, tumor wrapping or invading of vital organs and tissues, the presence of giant or multiple tumors, distant metastasis, the formation of a tumor thrombus, and significant surgical trauma. In this review, we discuss recent research advances and propose potential strategies for overcoming these challenges. Anticancer effect of prepared Cu (II) complexes on HepG2 liver cancer cells. The current work emphasizes the significance of a new copper (II) complex with [Cu(Phen)(Ida)](NO 3) 2 (Complex-1) [Cu(Phen) 2 (PABA)](NO 3) (Complex-2) (where Phen = 1;10-phenanthroline, Ida = Iminodiacetic acid, PABA = Para amino benzoic acid) has been synthesized and evaluated by using different analytical techniques. The binding mechanism of the Cu (II) complex with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) was understood from the UV and fluorescence spectra, as-well as cyclic voltammetry techniques. The stability of the Cu (II) complex was observed from the findings of the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy gap. Additionally, molecular docking studies have revealed the binding affinity of the Cu (II) complex within the base pairs of CT-DNA. Subsequently, the Cu (II) complex was studied in cytotoxicity assessments using human liver cancer cells. The MTT assay was employed to evaluate cellular metabolic activity, and how it serves as an indicator while assessing the cell viability, proliferation, and cytotoxic effects. The resulting complex demonstrates significant cytotoxicity against HepG2 cancer cell lines. Furthermore, the complex has been investigated for its antibacterial potential against Gram-positive (Staphylococcus haemolyticus , Bacillus cereus) and Gram-negative (Enterobacter cloacae) bacteria. Also, it exhibits notable antifungal activity against fungi (TrichodermaViride , Clodosorium). Neighbourhood-based collaborative filtering (CF) methods typically rely only on user rating information for similarity calculation, without considering linguistic concepts (terms) that reflect user fuzzy preferences. However, in real-world decision-making processes, users often prefer to express their preferences for items linguistically rather than numerically. Inspired by this, we propose a probabilistic linguistic term set–based item similarity method that transforms absolute ratings into linguistic terms to capture the degree of importance users place on explicit aspects and opinions. Furthermore, we take into account the positive impact of users’ preferred consistency towards items on similarity results and introduce a Bhattacharyya coefficient–based item tendency to adjust semantic similarities, enhancing the reliability of predictions. In addition, we account for the asymmetric relation between items when selecting appropriate neighbours to optimise rating predictions. The experiments on two benchmark data sets indicate that our method outperforms existing similarity methods across various evaluation metrics. Specifically, compared with the state-of-the-art method, intuitionistic fuzzy set–based hybrid similarity model (IFS-HSM), the proposed model improves the performance by at least 2.1% and 1.9%, respectively, within the metrics mean absolute error (MAE) and F1. [Display omitted] • CO 2 hydrogenation over inverse supported Zr 9 O 18 /Ni(1 1 1) nanocatalyst was computed. • Charge transfer from Ni(1 1 1) to supported Zr 9 O 18 nanoparticle has been found. • Supported Zr 9 O 18 nanoparticle has coordinatively unsaturated Zr sites at interface. • H 2 prefers dissociative adsorption on Ni(1 1 1) and CO 2 activation prefers interface Zr sites. • Surface HCOO is the most important intermediate and methanol is the selective product. To tune the activity and selectivity of CO 2 hydrogenation, inverse supported Zr 9 O 18 /Ni(1 1 1) catalysts are designed based on ab initio molecular dynamics simulation and density functional theory calculation under the consideration of the number of interfacial O and Zr atoms as well as the interaction between O and Zr atoms. For the most stable catalyst with coordinatively unsaturated interface Zr sites, charge transfer from surface to oxide has been found. The Ni(1 1 1) surface is pre-covered by H atoms and the interface Zr sites can activate CO 2 to a large extent, and their interaction results in the spontaneous formation of surface formate. Further hydrogenation of surface formate leads to the selective formation of methanol with an apparent Gibbs free energy barrier of 0.62 eV, lower than that of methane formation (1.09 eV). On the contrary to metallic nickel and supported nickel catalysts, the most favoured methanol formation route [HCOO → CHO → CH 2 O → CH 3 O → CH 3 OH] does not involve CO as intermediate, revealing the mediated interface effect.
